Angels and Demons are two different species in Diablo and that means angels cant become demons and vice versa. Nephalem/humans are a cross breed between the two. This isn't the biblical interpretation of angels/demons, these guys spawn from the remains of two different super beings. So in essence, Tyrael can't become human anymore than you can change a horse into an elephant. The appearance angels take is not their true form since they're just light (the wings), so what Tyrael did was just appear human, that doesn't make him human though (he even kept his powers).

Is this official now btw? I've sort of lost track. Like, why hasn't a new Justice emerged from the Arch? Or what happens now with the old missing Wisdom? Are these just titles now or?

A new justice hasn't emerged because the game literally ends at the point he becomes Wisdom. Sadly the ending seems very poorly written cause I doubt he's "officially" Wisdom. Putting aside the fact that Tyrael does very little to be considered wise, Malthael's kinda not dead. Its established that if one of them dies then the arch will just make a new angel to fulfil that role. The lore angel states thats why they know Malthael's alive, nothing's emerged, they're still short a man. So I doubt the titles can just be swapped arbitrarily, they gotta be born into it. Either Malthael's gotta come back and fulfil his role or he's gotta die. Either way it seems the hints in act 4 suggest the expansion will deal with him.

+1 to the pile of all the awesome directions Blizzard could have taken in designing the final boss

They just restarted the server again :\ almost screwed up my act 3 run, I wonder how serious this is. Its been over three months since launch, I can tell this online thing is gonna be something that plagues this game til the day it dies.

This looks very promising I hope this means a system is being implemented to progress past level 60!
