I am trying to install the beta but everytime I run the Diablo 3 beta setup it goes through the updating setup files and then says lanching blizzard launcher but then nothing happens and it does not load. I also checked if I had a blizzard launcher or anything like that in processes and nothing. I have also multiple times deleted my C:/programdata/battle.net folder and even renamed the agent folder inside of it agent.Temp like some have recommended but none of these methods work and the same thing happens. Can anyone help please? Have also been opening it in administrator still no luck.

Been using it since the day I got into the beta. Sharpen filter makes the game look less 2001, love it!
I agree completely :). The sharpen is a must, even if you don't change how dark it is. Also I think it makes torches and other lighting look much cooler and in sync with Diablo 2.
How would it be greedy and selfish of them? You're licensing the game - it's greedy and selfish of you to want to tailor the game to your needs and wants. It's their product - not yours.
Because they're limiting options for their playerbase. It doesn't hurt Blizzard or any other player if some choose to play it slightly darker. It only affects that person. Though, yes you're right it is their choice because it is their game. Keep in mind however this is just my opinion, and I respect yours completely.
The filter makes the game look way better imo, makes everything less blurry aswell.
Well I'd be inclined to agree with you, I don't see why they would not allow it, but I mean they did make the game that way because that's how they wanted it, : /, but yeah I suppose you're right would be greedy and selfish of them.
I stumbled across this after watching different beta videos on youtube. Now I have no issue with how the game looks in the first place, I think it looks great. However, I am of the opinion that it does add that darker more "gothic" diablo feel. Thus I thought it might be nice for gamers to choose which to play with, whether it be one of the different presets available or just the way it is normally. It even gives you the option to make it darker in outside areas and lighter in dungeons and underground areas if you so choose. Also you might notice that the sharpness is increased as well with this, and in my opinion makes the games look incredibly more detailed. What do you guys think? Would you use this, or want the option to, and should blizzard allow its use when the game releases? My personal vote is on yes :).
I have added a video link showing "just one" preset available in action compared to the normal look, as well as the sites link showing the different presets available, the site also lets view the difference between the sharpness on and off (also if you just want the added sharpness and want to play without making it darker you can do that as well):
