5 weeks plus 3 days. 2 unlocks per week up until the BIG UNLOCK right before release. If this was really up to the diablo 3 communities activity on the site then we would have the whole thing unlocked in a few hours
I'm all for a vote to kick system. Even though i plan on playing mainly with friends or solo, i think a vote to kick system has its place in public games just for the occasion that you have an afker/ griefer/ leecher anyone who is not contributing to the party. There are always going to the jerks out there who join games just to talk shit and for that reason alone i would love to see a vote to kick system in place

I don't know why but I'm starting to get the feeling that people are actually going to die once Diablo is released you know? Like that guy who played League of Legends for 4 days straight (I think it was in Thailand or Korea).

With the new promotional site up i started to do some research on player banners. Ive been seeing a lot of topics regarding sigils and confusion with the website as well as player banners in general. I thought i would make a little post with some info on the parts and pieces of player banners for anyone who cares.
What are Diablo 3 Banners?
A way of showing off your in-game accomplishments with other players visually. The function in Co-op games allows your friends to teleport straight to your location by click on your banner located in town. However you can also drop your banner during combat in a safe location before other players use it. Players Love Achievements and Vanity
In fact, it is human nature to care about the looks of things. How many of you have bought something and became really picky about how it looked or what color it was? This is human behavior at work here. Players will care about that their banner looks like so they can show it off to their friends especially since it can be used as a teleporter to your location. By earning achievements:
PvP earns you a crest at the top
PvE earns you pennants on the sides
Others will earn you a variety of cloth, sigil, and accents options in the middle
Playing Hardcore mode earns you a base
The collector’s edition of Diablo includes a unique banner not available to other’s.

i ordered my CE from amazon... in conjunction with the digital copy. The CE game disc is a present for one of my good friends lol but I'm keeping all the goodies that come with it.
my closest gamestop is about 15 minutes away and they aren't even advertising for D3. I haven't seen any ads anywhere for Diablo 3, it saddens me. Come to think of it, i have never been inside a gamestop that sold PC games. I must live in a weird place
I absolutely agree with this one. I know they fixed or patched it to be weaker or something, but it took years for them to do it, and barb has been nerfed into the ground since then.
I once liked playing my barb in Diablo 2. Then i made it to the chaos sanctuary... and could never beat it solo.
Funny that I put so many hours into Diablo 2 when I was younger....and...in retrospect...the game was terrible..
