This is the correct route to og, HC PvP without permadeath will create a vibrant and living HC PvP community, which is awesome
Yeah, I agree.
perma death in HC pvp is just silly. although some people will not like the decision, imo it will ultimately make the HC community stronger and more active.

I don't recommend playing hardcore unless you know what its like to lose a high level character in diablo2. It could ruin the game for you. Give normal a shot first (well you have to anyway).
Agreed! At the very least play the game through normal first!

Yep, I dunno if we have grey items anymore though. And also set items are goin to be the same color as legendaries - orange.
Edit: italofoca I'm 90% sure set items are orange as well because quest items are green
Just the first link I came across explaining it http://us.battle.net...opic/3196341164
Click on the link I posted and you will find out an dozen of green set items. Also, there are no quest items so far in D3. When you get leoric's crown, it doesn't appear in your inventory or anywhere.
Journals are green however.
thanks for clearing that up

don't see why HC would get better items, though. Isn't that a bit counter intuitive? Isn't hardcore supposed to be harder, and not easyer, if anything? Because that's what it is: giving better items means the game becomes easyer.
good point, never considered this.
Mar 23, 2012At first my initial reaction was definitely "NO!"Posted in: Hardcore Discussion
But after thinking about it for a bit more I do not actually think it's a bad idea. Even if it's just a few super elite items at the inferno/highest levels of the game.
If inferno is going to be as difficult as blizzard claims, a unique reward (in special items) to hardcore characters may be a positive thing

What's the point of a game if you can't lose ?
"What's the point of a game where you invest 22 hours into a character that you lose forever because of 1 mistake/lag/dog/baby/cat farted/etc"
It goes both ways

You can't just sit on the SK and have tunnel vision. You need to understand the fight mechanics and move out of his AoE, etc. It takes a while to kill him at lvl 8, but you shouldn't be getting destroyed.
This. Beta is very easy with a little bit of game knowledge and strategy.
Mar 19, 2012Once upon a time a poor died outside Tristram. He would soon be the king that would bring justice and love, power and might to a wonderful empire in the undead world of The fallen angel known as Azrael.Posted in: General Discussion
Before he died, he was alive. But that doesn't mean he won't live up to his harpy-queen's expectations. She was cruel and most beautiful but even then, she totally had killer boobs that could kill Austin Powers inspite of his groovy hippie nature.
One day the strong and fierce stench woke up a fair maiden and gave her an exceptional gift that was meant to stop hunger, dolphins and Jay. Jay didn't quite bring up the beta servers in time. That had little to do with the fail he hid in the Chris Metzen's closet. Later that night he shoved large hamburgers into the Blizzard servers.
Jay asked Metzen: "Why am I the coolest dude imaginable?"
Metzen replied back: "Because of your perfect ponies my spunky, evil minion.
Meanwhile, in Afghanistan...
