Ok guys and girls, I have started creating an Aussie guild called "Diggers" on www.diablo-guilds.com and would appreciate those in this thread be they Australian or New Zealanders please private message me your email address so I can send out a guild invites. The founding 10 members will help decide a guild discription and image we will use, the current Image I have uploaded is below:
Ok, we need to know if there are any official word on a ANZ/SEAOceana server we will play on???? I hope we do in time for release so our game speeds are all good with no lag...I mean if Blizzard decided to make an Online single player game option I expect it to be smooth as! I still strongly believe there should be an offline single player mode....but aw well....too late now...Apparenlty in order for us to have a midnight release EB needs to have a minimum of 100 pre orders of the game.
I think it is very unlikely we will get servers based in NZ or Australia prior to release. As for the midnight release surely EB have more pre-orders then that already?
Are you planing on doing co-op on your first playthrough or waiting until Nightmare? I am undecided as I dont want to miss anything in the story but others might not like that pace.
Im planning on doing Co-op first playthrough, and at a even enjoyable pace (looking at all the areas, turning over every rock, lore etc). Looking for people to join up with on launch
Judging by the videos I have seen (no beta client :QQ:) the lore is such as journals are all voiced too which makes it more enjoyable. Sounds like we could play our first game together without pacing problems

If the platform is going to be the PS3 then you can kiss goodbye D3 on consoles for at least 2 years as it will need to be completely re-written to work on the PS3's hardware. I think if anything they will put it on the xbox.
There's a simple reason this won't happen, a) they have to re-write the code anyway, although Xbox is made by microsoft they are not the exact same systems. xbox requires a monthly fee which we all know Blizzard said no way jose. So we can easily rule out the Xbox but PS3 is the one that fits the bill perfectly.
Personally I dont think we will see console Diablo 3 until the next gen consoles. I think this because we know blizzards track record with dev time.
