I didn't set any fire, I just checked the official forums to see if there was any news, since I don't usually pay much attention to whats happening to D3, specially lately.
I wanted to know if there was another "lets remove PvP" kind of notice, again.
I don't need to get over anything, I never said I want D2 back, I said that since the RMAH is gone, the only impediment to have a D2-likeskill system, should be development.
Btw, English is not my native language, type properly, use we are or we're and not were, can't stand it.
This is not the real problem honestly, the real problem is that we don't have a skill tree/skill modifier anymore. Then, all the possible variety that exists in the game must come from, yeah, items.
I believe, that the reason for this was a business call, altogether with the RMAH, now with the RMAH gone, maybe, just maybe the next step is to introduce some kind of control in skills, D2-like.
If they implement something like that, then a lot of weight will be removed from the itemization, and builds will reappear.
No idea, but that is not the point here. The point is, that maybe, all of these game changing decisions, like e.g, drop rates of potential upgrades, are not 100% driven by what is best for the players in terms of having fun while playing the game, bufrom a business point of view, in which case, it would make perfect sense if someone says: "hey, make vanilla version so obsolete and unplayable that they have to buy RoS to have fun".
Again, I'm not saying that this is what I think it's happening, but it's not something to just discard because it's too cynical, specially after the recent updates from Travis Day, and past lies and obvious excuses that had nothing to do with the game but with other rea$on$.
Actually, it is 100% related, if the intention of Blizzard is for people to migrate from vanilla to RoS, then this "strategy" of introducing another way of obtaining legendaries that are not drop dependant, that is only included in RoS, but at the same time affecting the vanilla version of the game... you can do the math.
Maybe I'm being a little cynical here but... I wonder if the reason of the intended low drop rates is because that same drop rate will be translated to vanilla, but since in Vanilla Kanala doesn't exist, the only way to have some sort of rewarding experience would be... wait for it... to buy the expansion.
If that is correct, and everything Travis and other blues told us is a very polite and elaborated half-true... damn, well played Blizz I guess.

I like what I see so far, however, I'm afraid that the game longevity will get shortened by a tangible factor at this rate...

Then, I checked my MS in the details screen and to my surprise, it raised from 24% to 25%.
Is this because of the 25% cap?, or the boost works in a different way?.
If it is because of the cap.. fuck that cap, I want to move faster.
