I'm thinking Barb solo and Monk for group *with friends* maybe, i'm not too sure yet, For group i may even try wiz, but DH is still never even going to cross my mind until i have a male and female of everything to 60 :D. That'll take years however.
i had high hopes for the Witch Doctor before he became cool and Overpowered, but i keep hearing about dogs being 1 shot in beta and its starting to make me wonder if it's even worth playing him anymore. (i hope it gets fixed asap)
I've come to the point where i just say to my friends who don't even play diablo or know what it is, WD, Barb or Monk. and see which gets the most votes. So far, Monk is winning with 1/0/0
Female wiz is a great choice, but after seeing every playthrough... i never seen her use anything except arcane orb. It's Op, i know. and the rune just makes it -.- godlike. So that's just no fun whatsoever.
Demon hunters make me want to gouge out my eyes, they are the most boring playthroughs i've ever seen. But that's my incredibly bias opinion lol
Barbs are up front, i love that. I play LoL and i always end up playing an AD Champ, Or if i play an AP/Tank champ, i swap to offensive abilities and gather damage items to be up close :| It's just more fun that way.
Monks are really situational i have seen, the only problem i see is spirit generation, spending is used in 2-3 abilites and then you spend 10 hours trying to work back up to 100.
Witch Doctors have grasp of the dead.. enough said.
If i had a beta key right now, i know i'd play barb first. Just because it was first to be announced, and after playing d2 barb i really get the feel of power and luls when im up close beating stuff in the face with a huge axe.
That's the same feeling i'm getting. I'm not in beta but i can see how each class is getting more and more fine tuned. I don't necessarily agree with all the updates and tweaks, but complaining isn't going to help.
That's why i've gone from, Witch Doctor since announce to.. WD, Barb Or Monk ? S: They all seem really equal in their own ways. The other 2 classes i look at and facepalm all day long, so theres no going to them ;D
I STILL cannot make up my mind on which class i wish to play.
So far i've ruled out Demon Hunter and Wizard, They were easy.
The hard part is picking which of the Monk, Barb or WD to play on my first playthrough :\ . I'll be playing solo because, well, hell is more fun to take on alone imo.
I've watched .. sadly, too many playthroughs of every patch over and over and from the start i had WD picked for its uniqueness and low figures in all the polls on which class to play. But now he's one of the top. I wanted to play monk too because combo's are just awesome, i mean... combo strikes ftw right? and Barb wasn't really my choice to begin with, but after playing D2 again for that nostalgia feel. I love the barb in that, and it's fully warped my decision on what to play on release.
Anyone else having problems deciding still? Or could anyone shed some light on how/why/what class would be most epic to play through with. Don't ask me what i enjoy and such because they are all 100% equal in my mind on which to play
I've been a long time forum scoper on DF and i've finally cracked. I really want to punch the vast majority of imbeciles on this forum, trolls trolling all day long. QQ Skills, QQ Imbalance, QQ Pvp removed.
Now, I see it this way. YES pvp was removed, QQ moar. D3 Was Delayed, If you're not able to cope, you shouldn't be on the forums.
Pvp being removed is a good thing. It means the release is that much closer, maybe still weeks away, but closer nevertheless.
People who are QQing about pvp and how 'omg i want pvp now because i want to pvp' .. that's great and all, but don't you think GEAR > PVP, To pvp to your best, you need the gear? To get gear, you need to PvE in a PvE game, OMG I KNOW SHOCKING RIGHT? ... Now here's the kicker of all the whiners, They say that pvp won't be patched for a few months.. Now heres the funny part. The game is about loot, loot to play better, loot to pvp, yes? to get loot to pvp to your best, you will want to farm inferno, again, SHOCKING!... but all these whiners think they're going to cruise through the game and inferno and be super insanely well geared in the first week of release. It's so incredibly stupid how high your expectations of yourselves are. I will laugh when release comes, and you all expect to cruise through all 4 difficulties in a matter of a week, only to have your 'pvp gear farming' dreams crushed when you can't complete Hell difficulty.
So please, Less QQ about Pvp, its a broken feature which WILL BE ADDED. But first you may want to approach the real angle of the game. THE LOOT. THE LOOT WHICH MAKES PVP BETTER. But silly me, you all think you're so fanfriggintastic that you'll faceroll everything in a matter of days of release.
