Yeah that FAQ I think mentions that's the purpose of the chained zombies. Seriously that was so awesome. I never saw anything cool like that in any other zombie movie or game. It was just brilliant. Only thing I'm wondering is why the zombies on the chains aren't trying to bite her. Like if she uses the chained zombies to deter others, why aren't the chained ones all hungry for her. They're just kind of standing there.

The zombies have their lower jaws removed as well as their arms. So they're pretty much hopeless with trying to bite or feed for themselves. :)

As the description in the gallery says - just me bumming around because I was lazy and off work today, and hence, never really bothered to get ready. I'm a frizzy poofy makeup-less mess, in my stylin' Glee t-shirt. It could have been an Angry Birds or a Nerds candy tee shirt jsut as easily. All my bumming-around-the-house tees are equally lame. :P

You are very pretty. :cute: Loins are moist now! (:P)

James Bond: The True Story. yup, though Bond is mostly fictuous, a lot of the matierial behind it is actually quite true. Ian Fleming, I think it was, had a hand in a lot of counter intelligence during the second world war and all.. do check it out, even if you're not a fan of James Bond.

Yeah, Ian Fleming wrote the original novels for the James Bond series. The book for Casino Royale was published in 1953, but the 007 movie came out in 2006. There were 2 other adaptations for Casino Royale, but Daniel Craig made it SO much better... <3<3<3

I think the aircraft carrier is probably a bad idea due to time to get supplies (food, etc.) once you run out/get low. Where would you port? You'd be going somewhere you're not familiar with (as far as zombie population).

Personally I'd probably wind up a zombie since I'm not too strong and don't own any weapons beyond some steak knives. Lol. :P

This cracked me up in the office. ;P Why did the last 2 posters want to be zombies? I started considering it myself actually since it would be an interesting existence. What if there were a few zombies of the Albert Wesker variety? I know he's not a zomber per se but that would change the status quo a lot.

Aircraft carrier does sound good actually. You'd need some help manning it though. Care to take me onboard? I have military training. =)

Ha ha..not that I want to become a zombie. I'd probably try to leave town in my car, but wind up in traffic like you see on the cover of Walking Dead season 1. :P

Another thing that has always baffled me about zombie apocalypse movies.... if humans are the food source for zombies, why do most zombies only have like 1 little bite out of them? If they were supposed to be food...wouldn't they be devoured basically? :cute:

    Walking Dead twitter Transcript 3/19/2012

Q: Who was the most difficult character (and if not the same) and actor to kill off?
A: Shane was the most difficult character to kill off. Bernthal really wanted to stay.

Q: Is T-Dog going to take the place of Tyreese? He hasn't had the screen time he deserves..
A: We have big plans for T-Dog in S3.

Q: Will the helicopter tie into The Governor / Woodbury?
A: That helicopter will appear again in S3.

Q: Say Lori had a mid/late-term miscarriage. Would the unborn baby be a zombie and eat its way out?
A: Lori does fear her baby being born a zombie.

Q: Ok, SHANE took cuffed Randall to the woods. What happened to his handcuffs? The walker Randall wasn't cuffed.
A: We just thought Walker Randall pulled his cuffs off.

Q: So did the lone walker Shane was looking at represent the walkers moving out of Atlanta or something else?
A: The lone walker in the field did mean that now walkers are everywhere. The lone walker in the field also means that Shane is symbolically lost in a valley of death. Walker in a field. Dale was killed in a field. So was Shane. Nowhere is safe.

    Q: Explain the helicopter.
A: The helicopter was the same one Rick saw. That herd took weeks to get to the farm.

Q: How did Carl's gunshot attract the horde but the shot Shane fired didn't?
    A: Who says it didn't?

Q: The zombies aren't exactly stealth and silence creatures, why didn't Rick and Carl spot them til so late?
A: They had a lot on their mind, don't you think?

Q: How does Sarah feel about Lori being so very hated? She's doing a great job.
A: This is tough for her -- and surprising.

    Q: Is T-Dog Tyreese?
A: No. They are 2 different characters.

Q: I'm a black woman & didn't understand or like the brilliant last scene with the BLACK zombies in chains!
A: Michonne is a major character in the comic book. She uses those walkers to repel others.

Q: When the herd in Atlanta saw the helicopter and started following, were they feeding on the horse Rick rode?
A: No, the herd was eating a dog.

Q: How long into the apocalypse are we in at the end of season 2? Less than a year?
A: We are only about 4 months into the apocalypse at the end of S2.

Q: Ala 28 days later why don't the dead decompose and survivors just outlast that?
A: Everyone is infected so there are always new walkers.

Q: I don't think it was a fortress at the end, wasn't it like a prison or something?
A: The prison is a major storyline in the comic book.

Q: Any chance we hear from Morgan or Duane next season?
A: We haven't decided when Morgan & Duane will be back. But we do miss them.

I believe Lori was pissed at herself and was projecting that self-hatred onto Rick.

Q: Will Andrea be angry with the group after being left on the farm?
A: Andrea doesn't know if the group is still alive.

Q: So the barn, did you guys build that to burn it down? Or did the owners give you permission?
A: We built the barn then burned it down. We were not allowed to have walkers in the house.

Q: Did you guys consider how fast Randall's leg healed in the time of capture to release? Seemed too quick.
A: Randall was always limping and they were forcing him to walk. He wasn't healed.

Q: The don't have silencers for the guns?
A: We wrote the 212 teaser with silencers but some folks thought that was implausible.

Q: When will the 3rd season of The Walking Dead be premiered?
    A: october 2012.

Q: How long was Rick in a coma before walking?
    A: 3-4 Weeks.

Q: Will Andrea meet up with everybody else? Is so will she be pissed for them leaving her?
A: Yes, they get the script 1 week before it shoots.

Q: What does the title "Beside the Dying Fire" mean? Is it as simple as the barn or something deeper?
A: This title was little more indulgent than I usually allow. I had been up all night.

Q: How many seasons do you plan to run?
    A: I would love to get to 100 episodes. That's 7 seasons.

Q: If there were a zombie apocalypse, would you fight or say screw it and give in?
A: Actually, I'm pretty good in a crisis so I am ready for a ZA.

Q: Where are all the zombie animals?
A: Animals do not get the virus.

Q: Since "the French were getting close to a cure" do the survivors have any hope of being cured?
A: I actually pitched a scene set in a French lab w/ subtitles. Writers thought I was nuts.

Q: Are we going to be expecting any visitors in the Prison besides walkers?
A: It looks like a big prison.

Q: We all know that Daryl will be taking on a new leadership role, but to what extent?
A: We have great Daryl stuff for S3.

Q: How will the violent nature of the prison stay and the Governor translate from the comic to the TV?
A: We can't have violence for violence's sake. But we ARE pretty violent.

Q: Are there going to be any zombie children?
A: We've already had Sophia & the little girl in the pilot. I imagine there are more.

Q: Did you guys ever consider having Shane kill Rick in the field? Would've been more dramatic and intense.
A: We did talk about it but this is Rick's story, not Shane's.

Q: I've already requested my husband shoot me.
A: I thought you guys were so good together.

Q: What's the story behind the person who dies in the RV?
A: Jimmy was on the farm. Beth's boyfriend.

Q: Why did you have Rick kill Shane instead of Carl?
    A: Rick's story.

    Q: Hardest character to cast?
    A: The Governor & Michonne.

Q: How come those 2 men at the bar didn't turn into zombies?
A: Rick shot those guys in the head.

Q: Are the Governor and Michonne the only new characters in S3?
A: No, we have many new characters in S3.

Q: Does group belive Rick re: Shane making him kill him?
A: Why not? Sounds like Shane.

Nicotero is currently writing more webisodes.

Q: When is the Walking Dead video game coming out? Also will it follow the show so far or cover more of the future story line?
A: Not sure when the videogame is coming out. There will also be an arcade game.

Q: Will we ever get a glimpse / flashback of what started the zombie apocalypse?
A: This is never addressed in the comic so we have no plans to show how it started.

Q: Will we see more flashbacks in S3? Daryl/Merle's for example?
A: I really don't like flashbacks. Why does everyone ask for them?

Q: Is the 3rd season going to move at a faster pace? Specifically, will we see Lori give birth?
A: S3 is the same pace as the past few eps. We are on the move!

Q: Who do you think is the strongest in the group? Mentally and physically?
    A: Rick or Daryl.

Q: Any chance the Morales family from season one could come back?
A: Maybe. I'd rather see Morgan & Duane first.

Q: Lorri's baby needs to die before its born, turn into a zombie fetus, eat its way out. Kill her in most horrific/painful way!
    A: That's entertainment.

Q: Will Andrea continue to be a badass S3? She seems to have received universal praise from the finale.
    A: Yeah, she's officially a badass.

Q: Giving his killing of Shane & his "Ricktatorship" meltdown at the end of 2x13 will we get a more ruthless Rick in S3?
A: Yes & that's good if he's to take on the Governor.

    We are building a Prison.

Q: Has S3 already started filming?
A: S3 starts shooting in May.

Q: Did you consider Jenner telling a different secret in season 1 finale?
A: No, that was always Jenner's secret.

All the writers work on the scripts together.

Q: Shane's car = Hyundai sponsor for the show?
A: Yes, and a very good one.

Q: Is the zombie epidemic happening only in Atlanta or is the whole world infected?
A: The whole world has gone to shit.

Q: How are you going to handle Chandler Riggs growing faster than Carl?
A: We have frozen Chandler so he stops growing.

Q: In the 1st scene of the season finale, was that a flashback to the very beginning, or just a few days prior?
    A: Flashback to the beginning.

Q: Does Michonne have the zombies on her side to get past other zombies?
    A: Yes.

Q: What were the walkers actually eating when someone was getting munched on?
    A: Chicken.

Q: So what was it about David Morrissey that sold you on him as the Governor?
A: David really nailed it. You'll see. We could not be more excited.

T-Dog is one of the smartest. He's kept his mouth shut. He sees how these people treat each other.

Q: How was chicken-killing scene simulated? Fake leg breaks on real chickens?
A: Sound effects. No chickens were hurt until lunchtime.

    16 episodes in S3.

Q: Was the prison shot at the end of the finale CGI or real?
    A: CGI prison.

Q: Did Maggie and Herschel know Sophia was already in the barn when our guys were still searching? Thought I caught a glance..
A: No, Otis pur her in there just before he was killed.

Q: Why didn't Rick turn into a zombie in the hospital, Shane said he had not heartbeat!
A: Why would you listen to Shane?

Q: Did you know Daryl would become such a "love" interest for fans or did it surprise you?
A: I love Norman but was caught offguard.

Q: Was Daryl's character wrote specifically for Norman Reedus?
A: No, it was written 1st.

Q: Are we going to see Tyreese on the series? He is just too badass to not appear!
A: Let us get Michonne & the Governor up & running 1st.

Q: Why is it the turning process has become faster? Will we see a zombie Dale?
A: No zombie Dale. He was shot in the head. Ouch.

If I haven't answered your question, I'll be answering more later this week via @glenmazzara. Thank you, everyone. You are the greatest fans in the world. We love making the show for you. Thanks for everything. G'night.

If you read the comics you'll know who the hooded girl is.

Minor spoilers if you want to avoid....

Her name is Michonne and she's definitely one of the most bad-ass characters in the comic. The zombies she has chained are her boyfriend and his best friend. Their arms are removed as well as their lower jaws (to prevent from being bitten) and they're used to deter other walkers from noticing her.

The last shot you see in the season finale is the Prison, which has the Governor's gang there (the kid that was held prisoner at the Farm is part of this gang.) Needless to say, Season 3 is going to be awesome! :)

Just remember: 1 ingredient foods! ^_^ No processed foods! Meats, eggs, veggies, fruits are the way to go. Best way to adapt your eating habits is eliminating one bad eating habit at a time.

    Good luck! :)

In other news, I have established; from now until the release of DIII, I will hit the gym at least 3/4 of the days between now and then.

Just remember to start off slow! If you get too sore it will make you not want to go anymore. Start off with a 10~15 min workout then progress ~5 mins each visit until you feel like you're getting a good workout. Make sure to eat healthy too or it'll decrease your drive to go too. Just don't expect immediate results! It will take some effort but you'll eventually notice all of a sudden how thin you look. ^_^

And if you get bored doing the same thing day-to-day, this site has helped me quite a bit: http://www.bodyrock.tv/

Best advice I can give you: eliminate soda's entirely from your diet. Water is basically all I drink now and it helps eliminate so many unnecessary calories. :)
