Yah I was very interested in that as well, and I think it definitely needs to be in game, but there is no mention of it in the guide anywhere that I could see.
Ok, entropy reduces AP cost of Disintegrate by 2-3.
The guide says that only comes on helm, but the guide is a steaming pile of shit, so we will assume that is false. However, even best case scenario you would only get that skill affix on 3 items, which at best lowers the cost to 20-9 = 11 AP.
That is pretty good, but you won't be attacking at 1 APS. With a good wand and good gear it will be more like 3 APS.
-33 AP per second to cast disintegrate.
Maybe +12 per second via regen.
The thing that makes it all work is +AP on Crit
+10 is max
Potentially +30 AP on crit
AoE damage from wrathful protector? What makes you think it's AoE damage? It would be useful then, but the tooltip says nothing about AoE.
Assuming it's not AoE damage, I would prefer humongoid against packs of monsters and restless giant for rares and bosses. That would be true even IF wrathful lasted forever It needs buffed (unless it actually does AoE damage)
Even if it did aoe, I wouldn't turn my best tank pet that does a steady stream of dmg into a mediocre dps CD ability.
No matter how you slice it Restless giant will do far far more dmg on average, and you maintain your tank pet.
I was doing the math with vision quest, and you could lower the effective cost of the spell more by using the 1h+mojo. Though that would only really be true with vision quest, and assuming the 2h staff didn't have +mana regen.
Though that is a huge IF, I would definitely think that staves could have WD/Wiz Skill affixes and Hero resources affixes on them.
According to this so called guide DH's don't get a single skill affix from weapons despite having a class specific weapon, yet WD's get tons from bows/Xbows....
8 of the skill affixes are found on Xbows
3 of the skill affixes are found on ceremonial daggers.
4 of the skill affixes are found on Voodoo Masks
5 of the skill affixes are found on Mojo
Can anyone explain that one to me? lol...
Can a WD even equip an Offhand with a bow or xbow equpped? Aren't those 2h's for everyone except DH? I am pretty sure they are.
Some other things I noticed.
WD's primary weapon according to this guide is a xbow. MEANWHILE,
DH's supposedly don't get a single skill affix with weapons
Half the monk skills require 2h's only, and not one for fist weapons.
No 1H mighty weapon for the barb, or 1h's in general.
What do you guys think about this?
Does this make absolutely no sense, or am I going crazy?
I guess non-hand crossbows fit under Bow category?
I am starting to think this guide is just shit. Like every other brady guide out there.

The only class skill affixes that kinda look legit is the wizard.
This is such a disappointment. Steaming pile of shit brady guide as usual.
Something as simple as this should be able to cranked out in a couple days tops...but they aren't interested in factual information, no, they want pretty pictures for the little kids.

I was operating under the impression the during the 1 second "after crit" cooldown ALL your attacks would keep the increased crit chance until it reset.
Still awful since aoe will prevent the stack from going high, but at least it makes the "alpha strike" nature of it a bit better when you can unload 2-3 really strong 100% crit attacks to start a pack off.
Some thing like Spike Trap + RoV + Impale + Hungering Arrow.... Not exactly practical but you could in theory stack a lot of dmg in that 1 second window.
That is an excellent point. I guess it might be worth using just for unloading huge burst dmg at the start.
Though after that initial burst, you are back to down to it doing next to nothing. In easier difficulties I could easily see using this, but once you get into inferno it might not cut it anymore.
I will remove it from the list of crap passives, as I think it might have value on initial burst and be usable.
I have high hopes that petless builds will be viable, even if they are more challenging to play.
And as for the Blizzard employees, just because they may not be as good as us doesn't mean that we can COMPLETELY discount their opinions. The fact of the matter is that they have played Inferno difficulty and we have not. No matter how good/bad they are, their opinion on endgame build viability is the most authoritative until we can prove otherwise once we get our own hands on the game.
Ohh please, blizzard is worth billions. Do you seriously think the average player can compete with their professional game testers? No. If they say that the petless WD is much more difficult in higher difficulty, then it is. The game testers have played this game for like a year now. I am pretty sure they know WTF they are talking about.
Also, its pretty dang blatantly obvious that pets are by far the best defense in the game. Of course its going to be harder not using them.
Another issue is that its far more efficient using 4 skills, and having 2 mostly passive skills, than 6 active skills. You will play better by keeping it simple, and that's not even considering all the passive dmg you are getting.
but summon also agro monsters which u might don't want to deal with forcing u to take on more enemies then u want, but i've been wondering is zombie bear a AoE or an 1 monster skill since it says to enemies in area so how many yard are enemies in area ?
That is a highly exaggerated problem with pets and followers. People act like that shit happens all the time, and causes them to die every time they turn around.

According to the "guide" they don't get shit with weapons period.
I guess the WD's stole all their weapons, lol.
