Nov 1, 2012Here is my profile.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Not the greatest gear, but not too bad either.
Nov 1, 2012I love this build so much, such a fun change to the snorefest that is WW.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
Slight tweaks though, using Cleave - Broad Sweep and OP - Crushing Advance in place of Leap.
Ace spec for ubers, currently doing them on MP8.
Oct 26, 2012Lylz posted a message on Price Check - Tornado Barb OH - 1h Mace 759 DPS/71STR/91 VIT/854 LOH/61% CD/3% LS/SocketI have the following OH for a Tornado Barb, pretty perfect stats, just a bit low DPS and was wondering its worth. Stats as follows:Posted in: EU Servers Trading
854 Life on Hit
61% Crit Damage
3.00% Life Steal

I don't understand the purpose of this tutorial. AH got a function of max bid, which means there is like no point in waiting till last second and bidding because if someone already put max bid then he is safe, it's not like you can steal something. And you just proved that in your video btw, aka you failed with buying the item.
huh? if someone put higher bid than you, refresh the AH and put higher bid 2 seconds before expiration and you win >.
You have the option to put in a MAXIMUM bid that you are willing to pay for an item. That means if you put in a max bid of say 2 mil on an item, where the CURRENT bid is at 1 mil, then someone tries to snipe bid 1.3 mil in the last 2-3 sec, you will AUTOMATICALLY bid higher by the minimum amount over the other person's 1.3 mil bid.
The only time snipe bidding actually works is if the current bid = the maximum bid on the item, which is extremely rare now.
Jun 25, 2012If you're not opposed to spending a little gold, you can upgrade virtually every piece you have from the AH. As others have said, you've focused too much on All Res, forsaking everything else. Create an AH filter as follows:Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
All Armor Types
Strength - 50
Vitality - 50
All Res - 40
Max Buyout - 50k
You'd be amazed at what you can get cheap, that will buff your stats up much more. Also, if you're not doing it already, use the Enchantress companion with the 15% armor buff, 15% increased damage aoe and 3% haste buff.
Jun 25, 2012Lylz posted a message on Can't beat 20% of the elite packs in later ACT III, need help.Swap rune to Insanity for WoTB, swap rune to Marauder's Rage for Battle Shout, swap Nerves of Steel for Beserker's Rage. That 33k DPS just became 46k (at max fury which doesn't take long), before you swap any gear/gems around for increased str. Now with WotB up you'll be doing balls to the wall DPS and killing most elite packs, or at least some of the mobs, before you get any damage or Cc.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
That or swap to Sprint/WW/Infinite WotB build for speedy fun!

So much fail in this thread talking about d2 not having an "end game"
- to farm organs
- to farm uber's
Guarantee 75% of the people posting never had a good enough character in d2 to farm this world event easily.
Got your torch and your annilus yourself? <bet you didn't do that either.
Fact is Kripp's right, D2 has a ton more replayability because there was simply more to do. And he posts these videos because D2 still had content patches 5-7 years after release. Perfect time to fix things would be a content patch in 1.1.
This post wins that whole debate.
That is the most ridiculous argument to the whole D2 > D3 debate I've ever read. Diablo 3 is what 40 days old or thereabouts. Diablo 2 is 13 years old. Let's compare a vanilla 40 day old game to the content of a 13 year old game with multiple content patches and an expansion.
Diablo 2 did not release with ubers (which came out in August 2005, 6 years or so after release), runes, runewords, remotely balanced gameplay or anywhere close to decent online stability. Diablo 2 did release with, far more bugs and exploits, some of which still exist after 13 years, horribly underpowered legendary items that were subsequently buffed and an economy that went to total shit as soon as duping hit.
So please enlighten me, why are you comparing an expanded, multi-content patched Diablo 2 to a basically patchless Diablo 3? Did you expect Diablo 3 to release with all the content of a vanilla game, expansion and 2-3 content patches? So many people seem to not remember even slightly how Diablo 2 was even pre-LoD at any point.
Stop comparing D3 to D2 + LoD + 6 years of content patching.
Jun 12, 2012Actually I use Sidearm with my slow 2h, simply because axes shoot off and kill those retarded flies and other such mobs that constantly run away. AFAIK, it also procs more LoH effects, so if you have a lot of that it is worth it.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

I farm act3 inferno, and its not that hard. DH help idd
Ive clean all content even diablo, not using any abuse or bug...
"even with smoke screen nerf, its not a big nerf 0.5 sec until next one"
But well as usual bliz nerf for casual....
inferno is all about gear, and for range all about dps.
You play a DH, your argument is invalid.
Jun 7, 2012I can clear Act 2 with offensive passives now as a 2H barb and Act 3 with defensive passives. It is hugely more fun than SnB, but I play in groups very often and its simply not viable in group play due to the monster damage scaling. Thankfully monster damage scaling in group play is removed in 1.0.3, 2H will work whatever number of players! I would say that group play would even encourage higher DPS builds, as the monsters will still gain a lot more hp just not the damage.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep
