Yes, the best thing for the coop experience is to have a MF party group who wont allow noobs to enter, 300% MF or gtfo.

And this WILL happen, and is exactly what will ruin the multi-player experience imo.

So dont play with random ppl and go play with your friends

That's part of the fun though, joining a random game meeting random people, not just sticking to the people you already know... what sort of hermit does that anyway? boooooooring, I have many on-line friends who I have met over the years by joining random games.

Your comment is confirmation that this is a step in the wrong direct for the multi-player experience, "oh lets make a game where people only want to play with irl friends, not want to network, or join and meet new people", "lets get rid of public chat while we're at it"

Sorry I know that wasn't your point, and was only trollin', but i personally think this is a terrible idea.

For me personally grouping MF/GF is a horrible idea. As soon as I heard that there was going to be an auction house I stuck with the idea of throwing out MF all together and stacking GF.

Why spend hours doing boss runs or looking for champion mobs, hoping for items to drop, when I can increase my GF and use the huge increase in gold to buy items at the AH.

Now this is only guess work, but I guess most people will be stacking MF over GF, and this screws me up in two ways

    1) I join a pub game where everyone is stacking MF, they notice that when I join the average MF has dropped right down, they either ask me how much MF I have, and my reply will be 0% and then kick me, or don't even bother asking and just kick me anyway.

    2) I'm betting I will be one of a very few people stacking pure GF, I join a pub game where most likely no one has really bothered with GF, and the average GF is reduced to a pointless amount, thus throwing my gold hoarding idea straight out the window

This sucks, really sucks... and now I will spend more time solo than playing multi-player.

My first post here, so hello all :)

I would of posted this on the official forums, but it is impossible unless you have an active account with any other blizz game.

I plan to play Witch Doctor first on release, I want to play full summoner build, and one of my key skills in this build will be Fetish Army.

My Idea to make Fetish Army more of a viable skill was to decrease the cooldown as much as possible and will use this set up...

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#.....P!Si!.....Z

But with the new changes to the GF/MF being averaged between the whole group, this will have a impact on the skill Grave Injustice which reduces cooldown of skills by 1 second for each enemy killed within a 8yard radius, this range is extended by items that increase your gold and pickup radius.

I may be wrong but this seems like I'm put at a disadvantage when in a group, as I'm guessing that most people are going to go for MF over GF, this then lowers the average and lowers my GF stats and will have a knock on effect with my Grave Injustice and my ability to hold back and reduce my cooldowns.

Let me know what you guys/gals think, and if someone could post it onto the official forums in the hope of getting some official blue feedback, I'd very much appreciate it.

    Thanks :)
