Brevik was a dick and acted way to disrespectful. He comes off as a very jaded guy in the interview, but Jay's reaction was plain childish. I wish Dave would man up as well and apologize for insulting his former colleagues, so we can just move on from this silly beef and continue improving the game.
That said, I must say I am intrigued by the things coming in the next few months. If the team keeps working hard and stays on the right course, we just might get an awesome product and a worthy Diablo sequel by the end of this year. Yay.

Slorak's Madness - This wand finds your death humorous.
Anyone know what the deal is with this one? x)
It will probably play a laughing sound whenever you die. Similar to how the Pig Sticker squeals and the way you can hear the Butcher when using Butcher's Sickle. -

Witch Doctor should always primarily be a powerful pet class, and it seems we're finally gonna be able to play it as such come 1.0.4. Rejoice.Posted in: News

Looking at how they buffed the already solid barbarians I think that the other classes are gonna get some serious love too, especially the witch doctors. -

My gosh, you're right! This changes... everything. xD
Also, that trailer showed a whole bunch of things that were never even present in retail WoW. Even though the audio was set perfect, with an epic voice and an even more epic music, the gameplay footage was very much obscure, most of the time showing some of the mobs like they were playable races, and only a tiny bit of a few selected zones. I must say that the Diablo trailers and commercials are, as they should be, seeing the time difference, vastly superior to that of WoW's in almost every conceivable way. -

Also, interesting to hear that Jay did all the work on designing the monk and his skills. All I can say is way to go, Jay. The class plays beautifully. -

Reminds you that you only saw a tiny percentage of the whole game and that there is a lot more of it waiting to surprise and amaze you. D3 can't come soon enough!Posted in: News

This is very much true. Softcore becomes very boring when you try HC and see how good and exciting this game can actually be.
Zerging packs and dying dozens of times in the process is just not good gameplay. The punishment for dying is extremely low and Blizzard is obviously very aware of that.
Also, itemization in it's current state needs a lot of work. Obsolete legendaries are in my opinion one of their biggest mistakes so far. No matter how much they don't want the focus to be on them, legendary items should always be much, much better than magic items of the same-ish level, which right now is just not the case.
Another big problem is people becoming disenchanted way too fast because they don't need to grind items 'til Inferno. You just buy them cheaply on the AH, and that takes away from the fun of looting it yourself, while also killing the prospect of grinding. Then you reach Inferno and the prices for good items go astronomically high, but at the same time you aren't getting much (any) good loot while farming the first act. And then Act 2 destroys your hopes from the start, especially if you play melee.
Everyone switches to the same tanky build and just hopes to progress with as little deaths as possible. All those spells and runes become obsolete and are almost never used again, which is a shame. Hopefully the next big patches are gonna be fixing a lot of this things, because there should be many more viable builds for end game content.
By the first glimpses they provided us, it seems Blizzard is listening to the constructive criticism and is rapidly improving upon the game, and that gives me faith that Diablo 3 will vastly improve over the next few months. Hopefully they won't prove me wrong.

And I could have picked a number of reviews that gave it a perfect 100, proceeding to claim it to be the greatest game in the history of time. Reviews mean nothing, and most of the scores were downgraded due to the major issues with the realms in the first days of the release, not to mention how everyone wanted the game to fail because of the hype and hating on Diablo became very mainstream even before the game was out.
I really don't care how you feel, and you are entitled to your own opinion, but next time if you wish to express your hate make some valid arguments to support it, other than calling the people who enjoy the game mindless morons, brainwashed by Blizzard into liking their product.

And reviews aren't subjective at all... riiight.
D3 also got 9.5 on IGN, but you don't care mentioning that. The game IS flawed but it really is not nearly as bad as some people are claiming it to be. It is better than D2 and D1 combined, and is yet to receive it's first major patch.
All the hate is extremely over exaggerated.

Yes, he seems very mature indeed.
Also, R3form, it actually does matter how much time one spends playing the game, because not only did these guys play through it on three separate difficulties and a good chunk of the fourth, they also spent at least a whole week of their lives doing so. And then proceeded to complain how they didn't like it in the first place, bashed the game online and demanded their money back. That is like Douchebaggery 101 right there.

Epic troll. I've been playing for over 5 hours and I'm still in act I, exploring everything as I go. So, no.

http://www.diablofans.com/topic/28004-player-titles-revealed/
Now, I only got to play up to lvl 14 and I can't seem to find any news or topics anywhere on the forums about this, so I'll have to ask here. Are there any of these titles actually in-game at this point? Or have they not been implemented?
Thanks in advance, guys.
Also, the game is freaking amazing.

Whatever dude, Blizzard already released a statement that clearly explains their LOGIC behind the Feats of Strenght and the ways that they can be achieved in their games. If you don't like it, fine. But they have been doing this same thing for over five years now and people are still crying over it.
Your 'logic' applies only to a perfect world of universal fairness where no one is ever screwed out of anything. Except that is not how things work, and you seem intelligent enough to already know that very well.
I ain't here to fight you, but you just come out as someone who is very jaded about this matter. Let it go man, it ain't gonna change.

You only foolishly presume it was mere luck. Maybe I applied for beta the moment it became possible. Maybe I participated in more than a dozen shitty contests around the internet just to get my key and experience the game before the others. And maybe I won one of them.
Take your biased logic elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with mine.
But WoW also had a few feaths of strenght that were never available to the vast majority of the players base, more precisely the Blizzcon ones. I never really was mad because some people had them and I didn't, even though WoW is massively competitive and elitist, and I'm an achievement whore myself. I would mostly smile and move along with my game. Can't see why there is so much negativity regarding something as irrelevant as this, that is all.
