Oct 23, 2013serrie posted a message on Blizzcon in a Box ContestThis of course has to be a drinking game, but the "word" drinking game has been done to death. It could be done with a twist if people get cards with their own "words" or "actions" and get to *assign* drinks if that thing comes up.Posted in: News
Instead I present to you: Blizzcon Scharades/Celebrity! (drink every time you lose! or win!)
Split it up into two sides...Horde and Alliance of course. You can play old school scharades or adapt the rules of celebrity. In Celebrity, there are three rounds. In the first round, you can say anything you want and use actions. In the second round, you get one word and actions. The last round only allows actions. The rounds end when all the names have been said, and then the names are put again in the pot for the subsequent rounds. Each team has 1:30 to guess as many names as possible. The team with the most guesses, wins! It's nice for people who aren't as good at scharades because they get to hear the possibilities first.
Each person puts in 7 names without sharing it to their team.
Example names to put in the hat:
Malfurion Stormrage
Tyrande Whisperwind]
Bron!
Thrall
Mankrik's Wife
Illidan
Deathwing
Vol'jin
Alexastraza
Megaera

But it's either get rid of teleport or storm armor. I'm going to try replacing teleport with magic weapon to up my damage and see if I'm ok surviving. Act 4 NM now.

LM: Magic Missile- Impact- Not used much but there in the rare case of being able to attack and not having arcane power. Impact actually lets it do damage while you get AP back.
RM: Disintegrate- Chaos Nexus- Great damage and most of the time people are in the range of the chaos nexus. Makes swarms easy and does good single target damage.
Storm Armor- Power of the Storm- Mostly for the extra AP regen. The reflecting damage synergizes well with diamond skin and mirror image.
Mirror Image- Mocking Demise- Start with this. They explode and sometimes stun. Distracts them.
Diamond Skin- Crystal Shell- You need the extra absorb from crystal shell for the hard hitters. Pop this after your mirror images die. Take a few hits. Synergizes very well with Illusionist and Galvanizing Ward. The hit you absorb reflects damage, resets Mirror Image, and gives you time to regen health from GW. Pop Mirror Image when this is about to fade. Run around and regain health/do damage.
Teleport- Fracture- Your last get out of jail card. Actually good against Jailers/Wallers. Lets you reposition and also distracts with the extra images. This does NOT stack with Mirror Image, but in the shitty situation when MI *and* DS are on CD, use this.
Passives:
Illusionist- Galvanizing Ward- Astral Presence
Illusionist for the instant Images/Teleport when hit under Diamond Skin. Galvanizing Ward is AMAZING because as long as you don't die outright, your skills give you PLENTY of time to regen health. Astral Presence for the extra AP and regen for disintegrate.
It's a little low on extra damage but really high on solo survivability. The damage from the armor and images adds up anyway.

Imagine someone creates a HC character and goes through normal, saving his or her gold. Now that person is really good at the AH- just like a lot of WoW players are fantastic at the AH. That person can take that gold and make profit off of it, and eventually buy items best for his level. Now imagine they are so good at profiting, that throughout their HC levelling experience, he always has the best item set for that Act. Not only that, but because he has to farm less in the game, there is a much lower chance of encountering death.
That HC character is not achieving "HC status" by playing the way you intended. He is achieving that status by making a profit off of the AH.
I really think you're just going to have to let go of what makes a "HC" character "really HC".

I picked it because it's a pew-pew laser build! It has disintegrate as the main damage spell and electrocute for regenerating arcane power. Wave of force is to knock back/damage and teleport to get away/travel. Energy armor helps defensively and to have more arcane power cap (runed). Familiar helps damage. The passives help my energy armor and damage.
