Hey guys. I was looking for some help with my Shadow Impale build Demon Hunter with reaching GR 70 to complete my seasonal Chapter Objective.
I have a few questions about the build itself compared to what I actually have, and what changes I should make to help me get to the point where I can solo GR 70. Once I get to that point I'll be a happy camper.
The current Shadow Impale build that I have been modeling my character around is the "Patch 2.4 Shadow Impale Build", found here:
When I pulled up the character sheet I noticed all of the gear was obscenely well optimized with R90 Augments on each piece.
Upon cubing things to create my own gear, I've tailored myself a set of gear that is mostly ancient and rolled decently well. I am planning on putting the time in to augment each piece with at least an R55 Dex Augment for the +275 Dexterity per ancient.
Through out gearing my character and attempting to push solo rifts here and there, I've managed to get to the point where I can solo GR 60. When I attempted 61 to see how it went, I couldnt kill the RG by the time the timer ended. My character felt super squishy and I couldn't kill even mundane packs of mobs without some trouble. I realize GR 60 is still substantially shy of the GR 70 Seasonal Journey objective requirement.
I suppose my first question would be... Would you recommend the Shadow Impale build to a player that is attempting to chase the GR70 Seasonal Objective? I have been thinking once I augment my pieces with R55 Augments, I might be able to scarcely complete GR70, but I am not sure.
If anyone has any tips for me to steer my character in the right direction to be able to complete GR70 with this set, it would really help!
