so much for HC inferno players if you can't avoid that 170k hit minus armor and etc
not to mention assuming you can reach inferno mode without dying on the others
I am curious about this, as they did say "no spikey damage" from enemies.

I know barb has trouble in higher difficulties in SC, my buddy keeps dying on his monk in HC, and I've read on the forums here that ppl don't really like the WD that much.

As for Inferno, nobody knows yet!! Ask those guys that just cleared Hell haha.

The economy is also an excellent reason to play HC: once you level a barb in SC, that's it, those items are never used again. You could have the best level 15 item in the game for a barbarian, and it would never matter after several levels. On HC, however, you save that item because if your barb dies later, you can use it again when you relevel him back up. Also, the awesome items your barb was currently wearing are now gone forever: a true item sink! As the SC economy inflates with the best gear and eventually all there is is level 60 PvP or Inferno gear with 1 or 2 stats varying, the HC economy should be fairly stable and all levels and qualities of items should be fairly consistently valued.
Fearing death adds a hell of a lot to the game for me and friends. But I also have other wussie friends that just treat the game like WoW and want to just grind to the end and be done, so I also have SC characters to play with them. Be careful when switching between modes, however, I've already lost a HC character because I was just playing SC and just charged into a ball of enemies and died forgetting I only had 1 life!

I just cleared normal with my group, and we were very cautious lol. I assume it'll be awhile before they get into Inferno as they'll probably want as good of gear as the guys who corpse jumped through A4 inferno, before they even start.
As for the hacks, so many disappointments Blizzard! This just adds to the list ...
Speaking of disappointment, since I finally cleared normal (we're doing HC-only), man was the story ever disappointing and predictable. And the Diablo fight was terrible (multiple silly phases in different areas). They did so much stuff right with the story (talking on the go, lore books, etc) yet they still fail to put quality writing into the thing. I'll have to go find a topic to contribute to, there's probably lots rofl.

I like this one!

I've added your suggestion to my OP. I think that would fix it quite well.
What I don't understand is how Blizz didn't see this coming in their testing. Maybe they liked being able to rapid rez each other?

But I figured we have a more mature and better community here on diablofans to discuss this (copied from the thread):
What do you guys think? Anyone else annoyed by the ease of jumping back into things mid battle, even in higher difficulties? Your ally's should have to finish clearing the mobs before saving you at least!

Much better than missing a day of work to have the majority of that time being interrupted or unable to play! At least you should theoretically have the rest of the night without interruptions.

Such a piss off. Hate taking a day off to have it half gone by downtime.
Does anyone know of a way to unlock HC before level 10? My friends are currently playing HC without problems.

Guess I'll just sleep and wait until tomorrow?

I was in the beta and just checked and yes, I have the starter edition already. I'm curious if this is how they're giving away the feat of strength "in the beta"?
I've submitted a ticket to ask the questions we're wondering and will let you know what I find out.
But it looks like it's good news for me, as I cannot get my copy until 10am, due to silly no midnight opening. But this means that I can go level my guy to 10, unlock HC, level him to SK in HC, sleep, pick up game and continue! Excited!!

Hardest to survive: Vortex/Jailer/Waller (Vortex seems to hurt most), Fast, Nightmareish, Arcane/Molten/Plague (Arcane did the most dps in beta)

This has to be an error.
