However since many people here have been mentioning that there might be some announcment of another new game at E3 this is impossible. If you go to the E3 site (http://www.e3expo.com/login/login.aspx?redirect=%2fIndex.aspx) then you will notice that it is now called E3 Media and Business summit. Basically E3 is now a private meeting of developers held in private hotel rooms to discuss business tactics. A few "featured games" will be chown but that is it. E3 is no longer the big game show it was before! (which sucks by the way)
Also note that all companies that would normally go to E3 have been invited to participate in the Tokyo Game Show instead (which isn't as good as E3 was but o well).
Just thought you should all know that.

That being said, I AM a hardcore Diablo fan, and so far, the 'systems and grids'-technical shit- is turning out to be awesome. I think they ought to add some new skills though, maybe skills portaining to how the landscape is collapsable? just a suggestion.

Last time I checked, the POINT of a forum was to EXPRESS one's self by SOCIALIZING.
Also, I think what's funny is the forum itself is for Diablo fans...hence the website domain name. But if you disagree with anyone about the art direction of the game, they hang you on a cross...it's not for DIABLO fans...it's for BLIZZARD fans.

I AGREE COMPLETELY. This is what I feel. I shouldve brought in the old design team to work on it, with the new one. then it wouldve actually looked like diablo. to me it looks okay but not like diablo, which was down to the microscopic details...this one is blotchy and rounded and cartonny like im playing warcraft 2 with a modern look...diablo is an old style game, it needs to be 3d, but like a 3d verson of d2. thats it. if they made the shit darker and worked a little more on small details, i would be happy.
Also you guys have to remember that Blizzard North was a completely different production team, under a different name, until they were bought out buy Blizzard, then became blizzard north, AND they were already nearly finsihed with diablo 1 when they were bought out, so it became a 'blizzard' game. in truth it isnt a blizzard game. not at all.

And the assasin would have to be kathryn zeta jones. as far as a pally and necro, i'd go with the guy who played Snape in harry potter for a necro and viggo mortensen as a paladin, and for old tiems sake id cast orlando bloom, but probabaly as the inn keeper in diablo 1
griswold would for sure have to be the guy who played hagrid or someone of equal scruffiness. I think this movie would be HUGE if they covered the entire thing in three movies like they did with LotR. I'd absolutely LOVE to see this...like, imagine the general toen of the camera being like the blade movies- how dark they were. and casting some damn good actors in the movie. aaaaah some writers need to do this and writre a dfamn script and go to some really popular director and make this happen damnit
