I laughed at the Hearthstone announcement so many years ago, and who's laughing now? I think Blizzard realizes that there is a huge future in mobile games. Most people don't have gaming PC's, but everyone has a mobile device. It's not meant for the hardcode Diablo fan, it's meant for the casual fan. I understand the users of this site are going to be disappointed, but it's not catered to you guys.
Diablo has always been my favorite Blizzard franchise, although I play it very sparingly now. I had really hoped for a Diablo MMO, and maybe someday it will come. But honestly, the days of sitting down in front of my PC for hours are few and far between. I'm intrigued by this, I think it's a smart move by Blizzard if they can pull it off, and I think they will.
And to those lamenting the poor graphics, it's meant to be played on your phones FFS.
