Sounds a good idea and i will certainly be giving it a look.
As a side note the heavy music at the very end of your prezzie kinda blew my head off,but that may just be me...i personally hate heavy music...dont you have any strauss or tchaikovsky?
P.S. or country & western?
Yeah I will have a mix of music with the intro's obviously. I just used that genre just.. because lol. I like all music though so there will be variety of course
With all the 'little guys' out there and the increasing difficulty to succeed on your own in Youtube, also with an extremely anticipated game around the corner just waiting to have videos flooded about it... I decided to propose an idea for the Diablo Fans community to see if they are willing to lend each other a hand and help each other grow.
Please take a couple minutes to consider, the more people involved the better it will be for everyone.
That is not game changing. Charms in no way changed how you play the game, they did not give you new abilities or change how your current abilites worked. They were flat damage or defensive increases that could have been given to players in the form of other items.
Charms not game changing? I'm guessing the game ended for you at Baal Runs then? lol
Is it just me, or do i see abilities in there!? OH SNAP!
As for the OP, I feel like they are going to go with this game plan:
Dumb the game down in some aspects and hope that new boss fights and other content will compensate... on top of gutting entire aspects of the game like PvP and save them for future releases.
The guys point was it didn't change or give anything.
It just improved what you already have
Charms just layered what was already there, didn't add anything new
Diablo 3
5x more content to explore
2 different types of crafting, can craft much wider of a variety of items than D2
Items (harder to find good ones compared to D2) more time consuming
gems (way more than in D2)
yeah so D3 has the other games beat by miles.
And I'm not a D3 nub, I've been playing this franchise for a very long time.
I like the hardcore one, the survival makes you pretty unbreakable. However if I may suggest just linking the page you made the trees on so people can mouse over the skills.
This is an Action RPG, you won't be doing strictly 1 job. Everyone is going to pull their own weight in every job. Some classes will just have more of 1 thing than another, and be played differently. That's how the variation is given
Apparently the highest DPS at end game once it's released is going to be the Witch Doctor. Simply because it can keep consistent DoT damage and burst flowing at the same time if you considerably sacrifice survival to do it.
I personally have always been a PvP fanboy of any game that I play. However you have to take into consideration the framework of the game being discussed. While PvP being dominant in a game like Diablo 3 would absolutely amazing to have happen, a Lamborghini with my name on it appearing in my driveway would also be cool.
But like the Lamborghini, it will not happen because PvP has never had a foothold in this franchise. It's something the players turned to in order to keep the mood alive in the game. Diablo 3 is going to be exponentially larger than D1/D2/LoD combined. There is going to be a lot of content to clear, and honestly by the looks of it PvP will be much more enjoyable than in the previous games. It's just that PvE will still be dominant in this game, PvP won't be dead by any means, just won't be as important

I understand this may not be a major part of the game, but I was very much into 1v1's in Diablo 2/LoD

They, if you are following news, are still tweaking systems here and there. (The game is not 'done')
Also if the collectors editions and box games aren't shipped and available for purchase then how could the game be actually released?

Much of the 'game changing' cheating will be at the very least extremely difficult to pull off.
