Summons to tank. Controlling spells such as grasp of the dead and horrify. Soul Harvest for dps buff along with the "oh shit!" healing rune. Last but not least, Firebats with extra damage at long range to stay away from the nasties.
Passives all focus on damage reduction or lowering cooldowns with spirit vessel.
When i first looked at the classes there were 2 classes i figured I would never like, the Monk and the Demon Hunter. After playing the beta for a little bit I, I have found the Monk still does not suit my style at all. However, the Demon Hunter has risen up to be number 3 on my list. I still love my Barbarian and Witch Doctor, but Demon Hunter is now a definate close 3rd to those 2.
My first run through normal will be with a Barbarian. Witch doctor will be my first HC attempt. Love having all the minions and non damaging spells he has in order to control enemies.
If you are using a Nvidia graphics card, try upgrading to the newest driver and turn on Ambient Occlusion in the settings. I do not have the beta, but supposedly this makes the game look noticeably better.
I think one might just need to play a little more defensively.
I may use a shield on my Demon Hunter instead of something that adds damage. Same with Witch Doctor. I will probably try using items that have + experience and re-run a few areas to outlevel the content a little.
