    I wonder what the reasoning is for only allowing die hard fans of D2/D3. That will surely result in very skewed and narrow feedback since these players don't represent the potential audience.


    I would also include players who played a lot of D2 or D3 but have since quit. They might have loved these games for a while, and their reasons for quitting could point to flaws in the end-game that hurts retention for many players.


    I would invite players (mainly content creators) of other ARPGs like PoE or Lost Ark, and of adjacent genres like MMOs, Roguelikes, and shorter isometric action games. Getting their perspective helps broaden the audience beyond existing fans of Diablo.


    Finally I would invite some kids and creators with a younger audience. Fact is that if you're a long-time fan of Diablo you're probably around your 30s at this point. An aging player-base is a dying player-base, so it's important that each new game captures a new younger audience.


    Also, fat chance that NDA will do much. Prepare for a leak extravaganza.
