All the people complaining and b*tching about changes to the ruin system and several other aspects of D3.
Let me tell you right now, Diablo 3 will be a success. It will be addictive. You will feel special and unique. If you think for a second that Blizzard, with the resources and talent they have, would make a game otherwise, you are mistaken.
These games are specifically designed to be powerfully phsycologicaly addictive - like a drug, they give your brain stimuli that makes you feel the senses of acheivement and empowerment, they even have the power to cause your body to experience real adrenaline and stress.
If we spent this much time breaking apart and analyzing and complaining about our own society could you imagine what a different country we'd live in.
Ultimately people are going to like the game or not - and I'd bet my bottom dollar if you are the latter, you will be a minority.
not gonna lie to yah, a beta is designed so that those of you or us could play the game to see if there are errors or bugs with the game, feedback is a must personally i would like ppl to place there opinions on things like this, it grants the diablo 3 team the oppurtunity to see something that they never actually stood back and looked at and could come to the conclusion that "hey hes right or no that just wont do" . but anyways. i do agree in the sense that there are way too many topics regarding this subject.
Feb 23, 2012i think it can, in my own personal opinion i played wow for 3 months got 1 char to 85 and was bored, reason being i didnt like the fact you HAD to raid with like 25 ppl just to get the best items and so forth, also once i hit 85 it was like, ok what else. of course im not a wow addict or fan so excuse my overly looked opinions to those who are. plus i mean cmon diablo has been out longer than wow and ppl still play diablo to this day., i dont speak on behalf of anyone, just my thoughts.....now ima go eat some popcorn and drink some late night coffeePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Feb 23, 2012i look forward to items that make characters unique like a sword for instance, in d2 if you socket a sword with a sapphire all it does besides the bonus is make the sword blue, in d3 im looking forward to an ice fog around/in the sword , like lightning sparks coming fromPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
a topazed weapon. and body armor looking 3d'ish on the character giving it more "umpf" if you will. plus the amazing animations for the
skills/added runes. along with my monks fist to diablos scaly face. cheers to you all!!!!!
Feb 23, 2012work, work and more work,/ eat, work make fun of someone or something, sleep. play bf3, mw3, watch a movie, climb a mountain, adopt a baby, ride a motorcycle, prank call someone, wash the car, lose weight, gain weight, eat 10 bags of skittles in under 10 minutes, race a horse, feed a homeless man, take the dog out for a walk (if you have a basket on your bike, screw the walk) pee on the sidewalk, irritate your neighbors, scream really loud into deaf persons ear, try dance dance revolution, spitballs. tie a mouse to the tail of your cat, find waldo, collect monkeys, go snorkling in seaworlds fish tank, punch mcdonald in the throat, play zelda while listening to opraPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
go to concerts, buy a guitar and actually play it, give a bear a bearhug, idk do something lol.
Feb 23, 2012tankodiablo posted a message on What class did you think you'd like the least but is becoming your favourite?honestly i cant tell, 13 lvls wont determine my fav char of choicePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
in order for 13 lvls to impress me at the beginning my char say for instance
like the wizard would have to cast a huge dragon out of nowhere that engulfs
everything around the wizard in flames...lol ah im a kidder but seriously! <-----exactly that
Feb 22, 2012yes i will make a demon hunter, but i wont make her/him till later on in gameplay.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
im gonna choose barb first simply for the fact that hes the original bada** in d2
of course the raw brutality of his nature.
Monk goes second and for some reason he reminds me of the assassin
WD for 3rd i would like to raise an army of pets just to use as bombs, kinda reminds me of necros corpse explosion
DH and Wizard both tie for last place, both are ranged (WARNING)-use caution when approaching these two, i think they both
start out in Bit** mode!!
Feb 22, 2012oh and i also dare someone to dress like the witch doctor, but heres the catch buy some rats , about 3 of em and on a daily basis feed them steroids, when they get big enough use them as the witch doctor would, AND please for the love of God DONT put dynamites or remote controlled bombs in there stomachs so it gives the exploding effect as they do when you kill em in d3. F this post just went too far hahaPosted in: Off-Topic
Feb 22, 2012i would try the monk, but im not bald , i think i would use a broomstick handle and give a bruce lee pose, then probably "Whatouuuuu hiyaaaaaaaaaaa all over the place! but cmon, a monk, would never WHatouuuuuuuuuu hiyaaaaa oh +1 to vitality for wearing a bathrobe :Thumbs Up:Posted in: Off-Topic
Feb 22, 2012i hate the hell outta runewords, enigma totally ruined it for the sorc, basically in the beginning of d2 teleport made the sorc a very popular char. now its like why be the sorc when everyone can teleport. see what im saying, teleport made the sorc unique from other classes. i think not having other class skill bonuses on items would make ppl really love there own char 10x more.Posted in: Theorycrafting and Analysis
Feb 22, 2012just a suggestion-the sides that dont have runes you can unlock with , how about those runes drop in the game, eliminating 50% of all runes being able to drop, so basically just drop runes that are only good for the side without runes. That way just adds a little bit more customization i think. or have the gear you get add rune bonuses to the side without runeskills, , give me a break on this suggestion cause i have not played beta. if this has already been said somewhere i apologize, i have not read every thread on this site.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
