Thye last email I got from Diablofans dates from 2017...

There is still no fix for this?

There is no fix - you can't get your deleted posts back, unfortunately. However, you should have gotten a nickname credit if you logged in with your Twitch account. No one should be able to yoink it from under you.

Okay, so there apparently was an issue with the Twitch nickname reclaim tokens. It -should- be fixed now, but if you come across an issue when logging in with your Twitch account, please reply to this thread (try logging out and back in again, first). Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reclaim your old account name.

Here's a step-by-step on how to do so.

HOWEVER, I have also gotten confirmation that we will be unable to restore your posts.

If you all could, please edit your posts and include your old username. This is a definitely a long-shot, and it probably won't happen (so please don't get your hopes up), but I am asking if there is anything that can be done on the back-end for you folks that did not see the pop-up and want your full account restored. Once again, I can't promise anything will happen, but I will try.

Hey everyone! Recently, we were acquired by Fandom. Because of this, we sent out an e-mail detailing this information last month, as well as pop-up notifications on all Curse sites. The reason being is that the EU has strict laws regarding the transferring of personal information from one company to another. If you did not accept this via the pop-up banner, we were required by law to delete your account.

(Even if you are outside of the EU, you should have still seen a pop-up, but since the laws don't require us to give you the option to delete your account, you only saw the option to accept.)

Since the acquisition is in its final stages, we had to enact the deletions for all accounts that did not accept the transfer of their personal data.

Unfortunately, we cannot recover your lost posts once they have been deleted, though if you wish to reclaim your username, you should have received a nickname credit if you logged in with the same Twitch account.
