Fists of thunder: I chose this skill for quicker spirit building as it has aa faster attack speed than the other spirit builders, i chose the rune; thunderclap because it gives some movement iseful for pve and pvp but it also gives axtra dmg in the form of an AoE.
Sweeping wind: I chose this skill for an AoE that will entertwine with the teleport of the thunderclap rune from fists of thunder, giving the AoE into close range and the rune for this one was for more dmg added onto it.
Tempest rush: I chose this skill for a good movement skill, especially with the added 25% move speed rune. It also slows the targets i move through allowing my team-mates to catch up. Also with my Transcendence passive should make this as a good heal aswell.
Seven-sided strike: I chose this skill as my main dps'ing skill. It allows me not to be hit for a few seconds and i get to damage people around in an area. The rune was mainly for PvE but can add dmg for pvp uses.
Serenity: I chose this as a defensive skill, giving immunity to all damage it can allow you to tank for a while, increasing the time with the rune allows team mates to catch up and help you.
Mantra of conviction: This i am hoping will be like the 'amplify damage' curse of diablo II and with the doubled affect from the rune it should be a good debuff for anyone that comes near me. It will help with using tempest rush to get to them and snare them, then using serenity to get immunity allowing me to tank and have good movement speed with debuffing the surrounding area.
Sixh Sense: Because monk's stat will increase crit chance with this passive it will also increase your dodge chance.
Resolve: This one is what i think to be the best passive, making any damage that you do to reduce the damage of your opponent especially with all the AoE moves that i have.
Transcendence: This is going to be my heal, it allows me to get rid of a heal skill in my main skills and it works well with tempest rush.
The monk will definitely be my main, and first character. The reasoning for this is that i have liked all the videos of the monks being played and havn't changed my mind about this character ever since they revealed it. All m mates are going to be different classes, then were all gonna play as a group, so the monk seems pretty interesting. Definitely my first and maain character.
