posted a message on New class in D3 expansion !
I really would be worried to hazard a guess. I don't think they would bring the Paly back as the void's been filled by the Monk(from D1:Hellfire) and Templar. I'd say the Necro is too close to the Witch Doctor to be implemented. The Demon Hunter is an Assasin/Amazon/Rogue trybrid (may have just made that word up) and the Wizard is from D1 and rules out the sorcceres. They wouldnt bring the warrior back cause it's just too broad for D3 and the Barb has that slot. There wasn't much of a fanbase for the Druid so guess I dont think we'll see any old classes. Although a would love to see the the Paladin make a come back.

I only ever picked up greys/whites in D2 from lvl1-10. After that there was no point. Even selling them had no purpose because of the broken currency system which makes them more viable to pick up in D3. The only reason we cared at all about runes was as currency. It propogated a broken system and for that reason I'm happy 2 see them go in that vein. They've come back in D3 new and improved and I think its a brilliant system.
How did you make runestones if you never picked up whites/grey (socketed) items?

I realise I did't address that. Even then you would pick up the item to see if it was the 4 socket flail you needed and if it wasn't u'd drop it again. Sure you could Horodric Cube the whites but those opportunities were few and far between. Not enough of a reason the impliment the same (problematic) system.

posted a message on [Official] Release Date Speculation Thread
For some reason I've always head the feeling since announcement of D3 that the release date could be 6/6/12. It has the beasts number conitation to it in some vien. My original thought was 6/6/06 but i think we all know that wasnt going to happen... Or it was released then and the universe is conspiring against me with the most epic troll of all time.

posted a message on Jay Wilson - Skill and Rune Changes
I had a chance to read the entire article and I had'nt realised that each rune had a variation for each class as well as each skill. My assumption was that each rune's type and quality would be standard and the attribute itself would differ from class it class and when applied skill to skill. I guess the problem here could be that different runes are valued more highly by some calsses and not by others. Although I see this as a positive as it would breed a more complex online market. posted a message on Will a healer class dominate pvp?
I'm putting my trust in Blizzard and believing that no class/build will dominate PvP. They'v learnt a lot from past games and I think they can make constructive assesments from the beta. That being said there will always be arguements about balancing characters. I think healing will have to play a role in PvP other wise it would not have been incorporated. Redundant skills would b a waste of the dev teams time (i.e. +1 Light Radius)

posted a message on How is patch 13 going to affect your PVP strategy?
I think you can only gauge so much on paper/@ lvl13. I think once the game opens up we will have a more comprehensive idea. I'm still going 2 be playing the Monk. I've always much rather play a nerfed character than an OP one. Don't want people to have excuses in PvP. Not to say I'm only playing the Monk cause he has been nerfed :P

I'd love to try Mr.Miagi but blizz is pretty strict with stuff like that. Hope it can slip by. Ive been thinking mayb Dragon Ball names cause of the martial arts/orange jumpsuit? But I guess it's even less likely that they'll let that fly. Mayb Krillin? :P

posted a message on Influx in site traffic - or is there?
Yeah I'm the same. Long time reader and only recently started posting for the competiion for the beta keys. (Having said that I'm starting to enjoy posting on said forums. I have just realsesd a monster.) More hits would translate to higher advertising charges I imagine would would make more money. Or its completely selfless on the sites part where they are only trying to increase the community size for the benefit of every one. I personaly think it's a little from column "A" and a little from column "B"

posted a message on WD Changes review - Patch 13 (good changes)
Well they nerf characters to balance the classes. My assumption is that the class can be played better than I'm playing it. Its still early days. Im sure there are combos with the WD that community hasnt caught on 2 yet. Cant wait 2 give it a try.

I honestly love this rune system. I was sceptical at 1st because I really enjoy leveling my characters to create a new build and there's always a sense of achievement at the end. However they have still managed to cater to people like me by unlocking a new skill/slot/rune etc with every level. Also love how you can customise your charcacter for PvP very specificaly with these runes too. The spectram is huge and its going to make for some fantastic gameplay.

posted a message on Will the Monk be your 1st/Main character?
I've always been a melee player so I think it's time to give somthing else a go. I've always had a fascination with playing a battle mage and the closest I got to that was Skyrim. I just would'nt know how to start building one. Ill probably play a battle mage to get me started but its likely that my main character will be a barb though.
