It was well known that you would be able to farm specific bounties on Torment 6 difficulty for the fastest levelling experience. That's exactly what happened too.
Have to agree with blujay on this one. They could put a message on the launcher, or on the log in screen. Even Wow does that, and given that D3's maintennance coincides with Wow's maintennance, it's not unreasonable to expect something similar.
Baddboi, your comment has more vitriol than almost any I have seen here. You could have just provided the link and helped educate people, but whine and belittle at the same time, while complaining about 'the community'. That is the ultimate irony right there..
Comparing the releases of Diablo 2 and 3 shouldn't even be brought up...there wasn't a decade of anticipation between Diablo 1 and Diablo 2. There were other games similar to Diablo around 2000 also, Baldurs Gate being the best one, Divine Divinity, Never Winter Nights....

Unfortunately there's not a decade of innovation either. There are a lot of valid points througout this thread, and I, myself have seen my friends list of active players rapidly declining. If D3 was an MMO, there would be sceams of failure, because this game is hemorrhaging players faster than The Old Republic.
I wonder how the Nether Tentacles nerf will affect glass cannon builds, given their dps has now just taken a massive dive from this and IAS nerf. A LOT more kiting will now be required.
I could have sworn that Blizzard said recently they wanted to buff the other demon hunter abilities to make them more attractive. This was disappointing, but not really surprising. I mean, seriously; what Demon Hunter DIDN'T use this ability as their main nuke.
