posted a message on Length of the full Act 1
I know for a fact that all of the waypoints are not in this list, plus this list orders them aphebetically, not by activation, so I do not think this list is complete. And if Act 1 isn't complete then it is entirely possible that the rest of the act waypoints aren't complete either. So we'll find out when the game is released how long act 1 and the rest of the game is.

posted a message on Monk weapon animation and skill use.
I have no problem with the Monk not using weapons, if the animation didn't show the monk holding a weapon and then punching. I have studied Martial Arts for 8 years. NO Martial Artist is going to choose a fist OVER a weapon. Plus martial artists train in weapons as well. In another forum someone mentioned a fix where you could toggle whether or not the weapons are shown, and I think that would be a great fix.

I have been very excited about the Monk since it was unveiled. But I became slightly disappointed with the Monk when the beta started and I saw his attack animations weren't using the weapons he held. But this raises a question, whcih I assume yes but you never know. If the Monk's skill animation is not using the weapon, does he still get the effects of that weapon. For example: Deadly Reach doesn't seem to use the weapon animation. If he is holding a weapon that is fire enchanted (he switches hands and punches the target) does he get the bonus while using Deadly Reach?

I am bothered by the Monk's animations too. But I have a more practical question, whcih I hope and assume the answer is yes. If the monk is using a skill in which the weapon disapears, does he still get ALL the effects of the weapon? IF a weapon has life steal per hit does that still count?

"Storm armor only casts if they hit you. Thats kind of what you don't want, and its still only 1 more chance to proc. Assuming there are 6 mobs whaling on you, that still might only double the chance it stuns. Its still terrible.

Maybe with lightning hydra I could see it...even then it seems meh."

Storm armor just says, ranged and melee attackers. It does not say if they hit you or the damage is reflected. This skill isn't Thorns. It works much more like Holy Shock.

Paralysis is terrible....a 5% chance, comon....are you going to bank on that to do anything? Even with chain lightning, you would have to cast multiple Electrocutes on an entire group of mobs just to paralyze ONE of them.

Its so bad its almost beyond explanation.

You are forgetting Storm Armor which will be shocking evrything left and right, plus galvanizing Ward which will extend its duration.

I'm doing the same thing with my wizard. Electrocute with Chain Lightning will be my main skill. I'll be using it with the Passive Paralysis: Lightning damage dealt has a 5% chance to stun for 3 seconds. Combine that with the six hits which means you have a 30% chance of one of those bolts stuning the enemy. That + Storm Armor = nothing moves! Plus I will be using the Power of the Storm Rune on the Storm Armor to reduce the arcane power cost of everything by 3 and Galvanizing Ward passive to make it last longer.

"You won't remember that it was late, only that its great"

That's not true. I remember very specifically that Diablo 2 was late, and it had to be pushed by a week at the last minute becuase of a shipping issue, and that was twelve years ago. And I do remember that game was great.

    What did he say?

And I didn't think you could delete tweets? Or am I behind the times?
    You can delete tweets

I tweeted: @Bashiok community at diablofans agree unanimously that #diablo 3 PR has been a complete and total failure bit.ly/zYd249

He tweeted back something along the lines of "Clearly it's not unanamious since some people disagree, but thanks anyway :)".

He deleted it when I tweeted back again in response: @Bashiok If unanimous can't mean mass majority, then imminent can't mean "some time in the future". I won't be buying #diablo3. GJ Blizz.

Diablo tweets and two other strangers started following me immediately after him tweeting at me, I'm seeing if diablotweets saved a screen cap or not. Wish I had taken one I didnt think he would delete it immediately lmao

Unanimous means ALL, hence the prefix, un, for universal. And IF imminent is refering to Jay Wilson's post of "9", he didn't exactly mean imminent, he meant close to it because the scale of 1-10 was 1, not even close, to 10 imminent.

However, Jay's post plus all of the others gave the impression that a release date would be announced in 1- 4 days. 1-4 days is NOT a WEEK or TWO WEEKS or a MONTH. They have blown the pr, starting with the original announcement in 2008. Four years is WAY to long to wait for this game. They should have never have announced it so soon in the development process. When they did announce it they gave the impression that it would be done in about two years. The ferver for which we are waiting for this god forsaken announement of a release date is completely their fault. And that is sad because we are upset about not getting an ANNOUNCEMENT of a release date, let alone the fact that after they announce we have to wait for the game to actually be released.

And, there is no guarantee they will release the game on their announced date. D2 was delayed a Week due to a shipping problem.

So rate the rage 1 to 10 that fans will have if we don't have a offical released date tommorow. I personally have been defeated by this whole process so i think my rage will be an even 4.

11 The community will go Spinal Tap on Blizzard's Ass if they don't get a release date tomorrow. But that will last for about a day, and then they will go back to waiting obediently.

I might be disappointed with this because of the Diablo Cast revelation, but I am so confident that we will get a release date on Monday that I would bet money on it. It just makes more sense from a marketing stand point for the announcement to be on Monday March 12th. This will give them a week of good press for Diablo 3 and then the MOP press event will give them another week of good preass for WOW. If the announcement comes on Friday and is delayed till the following Monday this will conflict with the WOW news. Thus it makes sense for D3 on Monday, March 12 and MOP on Monday, March 19.
