Hmm! I have seen that soon before! Can't place it but I somehow get the feeling I will never see the pictures! :o

Where oh where have you seen that soon before? I thought i was a groundbreaking Soon(tm) pioneer! ;)
Keep your eyes on this thread in the next week or so and i will hopefully have a photo up, the tattoo guys usually take pictures and put them up on their Facebook page. :) I can guarantee you that it will not be taken with my crappy mobile phone camera at least!

I dont thin i could ever get a tatoo. Its so permanent and they fade eventually. I could neve see myself always liking a tatoo when I get older, even if it i from a game I will laways love. i se why other people gt them, but its not for me.

I used to think the same way as well when i was younger, until i started watching tattoo shows like Miami and LA Ink on Discovery. After that i got pretty much hooked and finally decided that i had to get at least one! The real trick is to do some research first and find a tattoo that suits you and which will never really get outdated, it also helps to do some research and find a good tattoo artist. Tattoo's with your kids name will never grow old for example, your ex girlfriends name will however. ;)

i heard tatooers use toxic paint that is used in industry products and does not fulfill any health standarts.

Also: Where is it gonna be

And: pics when it's done plx :)

Toxic ink? Now that sounds demonic enough for me, sign me up!
I like to have my tattoos visible so it will get the allmighty upper arm spot on the left side. ;) I barely got an hour in the chair yesterday because the artist had actually lost the picture i brought him, so i had to get a new one and wait for him to draw it up again. But i managed to get the outline done and also the lower half of the body + sword almost done. :) Going back on saturday to hopefully finish most of it so it will be worthy of showing off soon! Looking good so far though!

Cool, I've also thought about doing a D3 tattoo. Will probably also be tyreal cause he is a great tattoo model.
I hope you will be really happy with yours and I hope the artist does a great job. The dream would be to find a talented artist who digs Diablo cause that would bring more awesomeness to the table.

    Pics when done please! :D

The artist actually asked: "Thats from a videogame, right?" He was familiar with the game, but he obviously was not a fan since he didnt get nearly as exited as he should have been!

Pics will come when its done.. Soon(tm) ;)

While I understand your enthusiasm, I would like to advise you to have it done in a tasteful manner, size-wise. You may like the Diablo franchise now, but what happens if D3 doesn't meet your expectations? A tattoo is something you'll live with for the rest of your life, as you obviously already know. Having a Tyrael all over your back is not the best way to go I think...

    Maybe a little one on your right shoulder (; Would give it more meaning. And later on maybe a small diablo on the left shoulder to balance it out (;

    Just my 2 cents.

A valid concern indeed. I usually think long and hard before i get a new tattoo, and spent 4 years doing research before i got my previous tattoo, think i have been looking for almost 3 years for this one. :) There is also a reason why i chose Tyrael and not some inbred demon or a female barbarian with anger management issues; If i ever(?!?) tire of the Diablo series then the angel can always serve as some kind of badass guardian angel or similar instead, not just something that can only be associated with Diablo. :) The tattoo will not be tiny however, it will cover most of my ginormous upper arm!

Heya! I have been a huge fan of the Diablo series all the way back to the original Diablo dungeon crawl when i first played it in early 1997. Over 15 years after i first played the first game i have finally decided to pay my respect and tribute to the game and its developers by infusing my skin with ink from the bowels of hell itself!
Well..I eventually had to settle with normal ink, and the real hunt began for a character from the series that was worthy of being carved into my skin:

Why not Diablo himself you ask? Because Tyrael is just about 10 times more awesome, and this fan art piece made by Brom is the very pinnacle of awesomeness in my opinion. Too late to change my mind anyway, going to the tattoo artist in 15 minutes. So wish me luck and hope that it will be as awesome as i think it will be!

    Update:

Keep in mind that it is not finished yet, so it is far from perfect. I'm going back in approx three weeks to finish it up, as you can see there are several details missing on the sword, waist and other minor details that will get added later on. The skin on several parts of the tattoo is also shedding like hell when this photo was taken so its not as crisp as it was when i did the first part almost a week ago. :) Overall im very happy with the result so far, and im certain that i will be even more happy with it in a few weeks!

posted a message on Jay Wilson - Skill and Rune Changes
I personally liked the previous rune system where you had to get runes to drop from enemies and then socket them, but the system does indeed have its flaws as well like Jay Wilson mentioned in his post. Having to juggle a ton of different runes around in your inventory and swapping them out whenever necessary would have been a real annoying aspect of the game after a while. So all in all i think the new system will be an improvement to the game, whenever they decide to release it. ;) The elective mode is also very nice, although it should be on by default if you ask me, the system is not THAT hard to grasp even for a beginner.

Mark my words when I say this rune/skill system will get competly reworked 10 times more.

I refuse to take your word for it. ;)
