Not just the top Crusader. Top 3 monks (currently) are bots with nearly 100% playtime. Top Necro is a bot, and a few others lower down are too. Pretty much every member of ZD clan on Europe are bots too.

The leaderboards are full of them. Thankfully, I couldn't care less about the leaderboards so they don't bother me. It's more funny than anything else that these people think others won't notice. Their playtime is public knowledge.

Because that's so much worse than having leaderboards topped by human bots like gabynator in his prime non-botting time with 80% playtime on 2 hours daily sleep. What do you value more, fellow humans or statistics table in video game?

Why are you so against people playing more than you? I honestly don't understand how you can say botting is the same as someone playing a lot. Those are Apples and Oranges.
True m8 but only boter will try to make excuses on this matter... Game is not maintenced any more I guess nobody alive in Blizzard is watching what is happening now with d3 /at least for one last year!/

ban all boters, and those that defend bot playing deserves a ban too!

True we need to respect regular gameplay... Bots are real cancer for this game!
I dont think that Blizzard wants to have 50% or more AI players in game :-/ banwaves please!!!

^ This, even if ban hammer hits. so many better options now. not gonna buy a new account.

    Thu, 11/23/2017 - 15:00 #5

    What are the better options?

    1) hitting the gym more often.
    2) sleeping more.
    3) playing some other games.
    4) watching astronomy stuff on YT.

Season 12 Diablo 3 LeaderBOTard Check #1: THE AMERICAS server

    https://youtu.be/ov29rp3tU44

OK guys the time has come, we need to check the leaderboard for top clears as well as BOTS! It's a pretty massive research here, so i decided to split videos into FOUR parts, 3 parts for each server + 1 video to summarize it all. Let's start with americas!
Such videos usually erupt a lot of butthurt and flame, but this is normal. If we just sit and stay slient, botting problem will grow even further and it will be impossible to stop. ALL MAJOR STREAMERS and YOUTUBE CREATORS must unite and support and help the community and the developers to win the war against botters.

I agree m8 its finaly time for Blizzard to take control over their own game :-/ and do regular banwaves or make a statemant that they support booting and EULA and TOS doesnt exist any more...

Well its obvious if we look at results in votes that 30% of gamers who are against banwaves are probably booting regulary :-/

Thats rly high percentage and I think that this number in real life is even bigger....

    Blizzard guys do something...

Main Issue stays and that is cleaning leaderboards of boters - cheaters in season and nonseason...

    Everything else is basicly secondary.

Oh come on now, be serious, you don't have chance on non season anyways. These will always be some no life, no job, mom's basement kinda guy playing 22h a day that will beat you no matter what.

I mean you can't fix is 100% like season but you can still improve it, like capping paragon and gem levels in GRs. There could also be an option to do GRs for personal records where paragons would be uncapped but it wouldn't go on leaderboards.

Shure shure but first things first! Regular Banwaves then we can do legit paragon grinding and gem leveling 132++

At first glance capping online hours seems ridiculous but it is great solution! It would destroy any chances of bot users as bots always have sub-optimal performance. Makes account sharing pointless. And gives everyone equal chances, no matter whether they play 5 or 22 hours a day. After reaching cap inventory would get locked (just like inside of GR), and any earned exp would go to non season. You could go GRs or instantly retire your character to non season and try again. It's not perfectly elegant solution but it solves all problems. With paragon/exp/gems locked bots could still farm primal items. Time constraint would make the competition all about skill and luck - what's really important. Leave brainless grind for the non-season. Nobody cares about bots there.

I play nonseason and its rly important to me so dont trol any more please.
Bots must be banned in both season and nonseason!

Does grift 115, thinks it lags because of bots.

    #Logic

Well I work in IT sector server maintenance so I know what means 10.000 users online and 100.000 users working at the same time. Trust me its much more server load.
When y play 115 its casual but on 120+ y kill enemies a lot slower so y exchange a lot more numbers with server until one mob die /115 faster, 120 slower etc/.
It make sense... All over Europe we have lags since season start, sometimes y have message "waiting to log in game" and sometimes y need to change server to have decent ping for normal play /Im on 100mbit fiber btw/.
but hey if y didnt play 126+ y wouldnt know ;-)

    Oh hi,
    i do too.
Did you ever evaluate a bit what kind of sources blizzard does use? Its a small difference between yoursmaller setup and the blizzard infrastructre systems. Here is an older Link regarding the used sources through world of warcraft. http://www.datacenterknowledge.com/archives/2009/11/25/wows-back-end-10-data-centers-75000-cores
The Batle.net is operated through telia in nowadays.Diablo is running on the same shared and on demand infrastructure as hots, overwatch and sc2. Only WOw has "dedicated" CLoud ressources except the instancing server which are booked on demand.
You are right with the serverload, but i think the lags are caused more through diablo3's spagetthi code than through online users.
Sorry for the OT, but technical things do catch me always a litle bit.
    I Agree ;-) m8 thnx

Maybe they should implement a random Captcha like thing, or a random "quest" that just pops up and says "go to this map within 2 mins for a prize" something difficult to program a bot for.

That would be easy and cheep solution I agree not bad at all plain Captcha...

You are asking wron question real one is how that affects legal play and trust in this game?
Yes I have friends who have 4k paragons also with gems now at 139 /gained in last exploit/ and I also know that they jumped from paragon 1200 to 4k in less than 8 months!? Now they are high on leaderboards solo and group. I must push more and harder then ever to stay competitive because when I sleep they grind XP, gems, gold, materials and keys!
It affects all players because y have boters with 2000 paragons also who are more powerfull maybe than y Kagetsura as casual player and when y push solo y will be damaged by their boting one way or another...
But lets get questions on real track not personal "how that affect you" so we must do something to change this lame situation D3 is now....
Blizzard please start CARE!!! Its long past final hour...
