I basically leveled with almost this build my first necro, the problem when you go to GR later on is downing the Grift Guardian at higher rifts. Don't get me wrong I use this build for bounties and stuff but for GR the lack of corpses is awful :-(. I wish I could run Corpse Explosion for GR 80+ :/ I really do since I don't really like Corpse lance animation and mechanics.

Of course I see you aren't pointing it as a GR build but wonder how far one can get in GR with it.

I tweaked the build for GR and ran solo GR70 with no problems (took me about 6 min to clear), but I have all Ancient at this point which doesn't say much lol.
You have to change out some gear of course for GR. I used Nayr's Black Death because I basically made a poison build and used every poison rune I could find. Used a Gem of Efficacious Toxin. Changed Overwhelming Essence to Rigor Mortis since it wasn't needed anymore.
I have to say it was really fun playing it. However, I wouldn't recommend it at all for progression.

Pretty good but i still think This is better since you dont need to target the explosions jus gather around big masses of mobs and boom they die, use Lotd/golem active ability on elites, you dont even need those tho since you need 1-2 corpses to kill them easily and there is always low hp trash around elites witch you can use to your advantage, how i play this build is that i find elites and then just spam bloodrush to the next elite pack and so on, with ingeom you can just keep the bloodrush button pressed down, its pretty fast paced :)

i tested yours aswell and it seemed solid!

I've tried that build before developing mine. My build uses a variety of different things. I don't like speed farming builds that have to have high CDR because there will be times when your skills are on cooldown especially when some Elites are very close to each other.

Someone linked this item in general chat today from D1 and he said it still works.

Has anyone tried it with Inarius set? 12,500% dmg at rank 0 sounds nuts.

Hi all! I'm very excited to share this build with everyone!

This build is for speed farming T13 rifts and it's NUTS! I developed this build not even an hour ago. Entered a T13 rift and just melted everything in my path. It was so amazing I had to share it with everyone. This build could possibly be the go to build for speed farming T13. It's not dependent on any CD's like LotD speed farming. This build won't be affected by the nerf either!

My guide is a rough draft because I've only tested it for like 15 minutes but it was too insane to wait even though the build is in a premature stage. I may tweak it a bit here and there but it is super solid! I'm open to any suggestions.

    Search "Exploding Bones".

    Enjoy!

I cleared GR82 with Wreath, PE, and Mirinae. Haven't attempted 83 yet but I will really soon. I'm using Execution rune for Grim Scythe now which takes off roughly 30 seconds while fighting Rift Guardians.

I might test Bane of the Stricken a little more.

I tried a variation just for fun in normal rifts. Didn't really need Leech in T13 rifts so I replaced it with Bone Spirit - Poltergeist and Defiler Cuisses for cube power, blue gem in helm, Endless Walk, and Obsidian ring instead of SoJ. Highly NOT recommended for solo grs or progression but if you're bored it adds some flavor.

Simulacrum - Reservoir is a fun one as well. 2 min cd sucks tho.

That seems to be an issue for all Inarius builds. Remember, I didn't use Mirinae at first. Initially, my gems were bott, gogok, and pe. Mirinae has always been an optional gem.

I ran 4 man GR75 just now and pretty much carried the party. Still at 1.5 mil sheet dmg. I had Mirinae equipped but really couldn't tell much from GR75. In any case, I'll probably just swap Mirinae for Gogok.

I cleared GR81 myself with 1.4 sheet dps. I had to do some fishing but finally made it. Going to shoot for 82.

I'm trying out CoE instead of Lornelle's. Testing Grim Scythe - Execution as well which could be good for RG.

posted a message on Fastest and easiest way to unlock primals for Necro?

First off, to unlock primals you need to solo GR70.

With that said, I believe I found the answer with my "Cursed Bones" build.

This goes out especially to new Diablo players. I see a lot of Necro players basically "stuck" under 70 with FOTM builds because it requires more paragon, optimization, and experience. The main problem with new players is that they die a lot due to lack of experience. Thus, they need a build with more sustainability - something less complex.

My build requires less "know-how" in terms of experience and offers lots of survivability.

There are various factors that affect new players when they're using Lance/LotD builds:

    - Experience.

    - Knowing the abilities of Elite bosses.

    - Positioning.

    - CDR awareness.

    - Gear optimization.

    - Corpse awareness.

All of these play a role in progression for new players and set them back until they gain knowledge of all of the above. I see some of the frustration for those who can't solo GR70 with a supposedly OP FOTM build which is due to the above. Some players really don't want to "think" that much. They just want to enjoy the game and unlock primals.

    My build offers something straightforward:

    - Apply curses and hack & slash.

    - You will not die so often.

    - You won't need to have 1k paragon.

    - You won't need full ancients.

    - You can solo GR70 with no ancients.

    - You don't need as much experience.

    - You don't need to be keep track of your CD's.

    - Positioning is less complicated because you're basically tanking enemies.

This is just an option for those struggling to unlock GR70 primals. I think many players will find this build very effective in terms of unlocking primals faster than other builds.

I tried Dual Scythe and it's definitely an option. I just felt more synergy with Blood Scythe especially when you're hitting multiple enemies. 10 enemies = around 100k per hit on top of Leech heals which provides synergy.

And again, grats on comfortably soloing 85's with this build. :)

Nice! I cleared GR80 myself last night with only 1.3 mil base damage which is not bad. Working my way up to 1.5 mil base damage to push for 85.

The survivability is definitely there. I rarely die unless I forget to proc Blood Rush or my Bone Armor falls which would just be human error and bad game play on my end. I try to use Blood Rush everytime it's up during fights to keep my toughness as high as possible in every fight. Some fights are just a pain such as jailers and every now and then you just get caught off guard for a split second and WHAM! you die while jailed. Sometimes I skip jailers but it really depends on the density and type of trash mobs surrounding the elites.

I noticed that I've been carrying a lot of teams between GR75-80 even though my damage is mediocre. The Aura of Frailty really shines in groups racking up killing blows. It feels good not having to rely on CDR which was my main goal in developing this build.

The difference in this build is that it offers a unique play style compared to cookie cutter LotD builds. It's pure melee. It's not a CDR based nuker. It's your old fashioned ground n pound build where you gather everything in sight and just go to town.

There is one ring that I need to test which is Brigg's Wrath since I'm using Ring of Royal Grandeur that could be easily swapped out along with a couple item adjustments. Brigg's Wrath could be very beneficial to a melee build. I will test it soon to see if it offers any advantageous utility to the build.

Let me know how you do in GR85. What's your current base dmg?

Thanks for catching that on my Amulet. I meant to update it. I'm using Wisdom of Kalan.

I figured you'd do fine in solo GR70+ since you were carrying 2 players at GR65. 2 players add 100% hp to all monsters which is equivalent to solo low 70 GR's.

My LoN build isn't relevant to this one but it's a work in progress.

    Thanks for the update.

I updated Cursed Bones guide earlier today. I made quite a few changes as far as items. All of the skills/passives remain the same. You'll find the newer version a lot stronger than its predecessor.

I solo'd GR79 so far with 1.3 mil base damage which sounds about right. I haven't tried 80 yet. I want my base damage to be 1.5 mil so I can just push from 80-85 without stopping. Working on a LoN build as well. :)

Let me know how your solo rifts go. Good luck!
