posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)
Hello everyone, im here to share my Witch Doctor

    DogMaster/sacrifice build

I feel this build is very aggressive
you will be able to practically melt big mob spawns in a blink of an eye

    here is the build

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#dhSRYU!bUW!aaZacZ

    how to play this build...

ok this is where the fun part start

you start with Soul harvest for the int buff, the better mobs in the AOE the better
also this will refill your mana, when you need some.

then you will trow a couple of haunts to regen your hp, passively + making some good dmg over time,
it is not the main dps, its is meant for survival for its good hp regen per second.

next this is where the fun start, you summon your Zombie dogs, you and sacrifice them as main dps, after each kill your passive will have the chance spawn another zombie dog for you to sacrifice,
also the sacrifice spell rune Next of Kin will increase the chanse to spawn zombie dogs after they are blown up, if you need to wait for your zombie dogs cooldown, you can start using Locust Swarm, as your secondary dps, if you run out of mana and there not too many mobs you can use spirit walk to regen your mana, or you can use soul harvest if you don't have it on cooldown.

key point, use haunt to heal yourself, and if there is no need to sacrifice the zombie dogs, they will heal you with each one of their attacks.

I hope you like it, and good luck to everyone.

posted a message on Monk/ Priest (support)
hello folks, this is my monk build, i think this build is not meant to do lot of dps,
it is to support a team in a very solid way.

if you like it try it out when you can.

here is the link to it: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aUXfkR!cfd!cbYbZZ

I know that Diablo is a very fast peaced game where the more dps you can do and wipe everything is "better", but in hell and inferno i think that some support will be needed since you will be taking lots of dmg and with this build you can directly heal someone and give extra damage buff when done with the passives, you will be able to cast the inner sanctuary and while leaving melee mobs outside of it you can still be heal in good amounts to continue fighting.

im also thinking to switch the indigo runestone from breath of heaven to golden runestone, but idk it all depends if im short from spirit or not during this style of gameplay.

    thanks for reading.

    Quote from pikke

Your mana regen should be good against large mobs where you can spam Haunt (more than just 2-3 I think), but I wonder how it will work against bosses or tough single opponents.
Since Haunt does not stack on targets that will lower your mana regen from runestone effect and maybe even from Rush of Essence synergy(dunno if RoE would return mana from "wasted" Haunt), thus reducing your chance to cast Locust swarm which mana cost is quite high.
I would change Locust Swarm from Indigo to Obsidian, reducing mana cost and (assuming the increase in duration does not reduce damage x sec, not sure about that) increasing damage.

Still, your build is not so "mana intensive" so you may be fine.

About Zombie Dogs: I believe you don't intend to spam sacrifice very often but use them to finish off weakened monsters, right?
Otherwise I don't understand your rune choice on ZDs, I would have picked up Final Gift.

I chose that runestone ZD, because i intend to use the dogs as passive healers also, and when sacrifice them to make some dps while in low mana, probabilities from sacrifice to spawn another one is quite high + the passive when some mob dies can spawn another one its also cool to keep the dogs alive and dispose at convenience, they are healing you with each attack while they are alive. it is wise to sacrifice a dog when its hp is low and the odds to respawn another dog is high.

psd. more mana regen can be obtained with equips.

i think that the Rush of Essence is way better since I can use it for both haunt and soul harvest, i would initially cast in 2-3 different mobs haunt then start exploding dogs, by the time the haunt effect is down then i can soul harvest an wipe the rest of the mobs if something is left on i can either locust swarm or haunt again and sacrifice some dogs if i still have some.

Hello this build its all about your Zombie dogs, sacrifice, and haunting to deaths its a very aggressive build.

use soul harvest to heal yourself

    main mana regen is haunt
main dps sacrifice and locust swarm
and the gargantuan is your blocker

take a look and if you like it try it out when you are available to use it.
