Hello, and welcome once again to a new Diablo IV Quarterly Update! We hope you enjoyed the Rogue class announcement during BlizzConline. We had a blast creating the Rogue and open-world video segments, sharing them with you, and seeing your reactions. It was especially cool to share our updates as part of the larger Diablo family alongside Diablo: Immortal and the all-new Diablo II: Resurrected (both of which I personally can’t wait to play with you all).

As we transition back to a blog format, we will continue to spotlight different aspects of development. Today we’re going to be focusing on Diablo IV character art—player characters, monsters, and allies.

Art is a critical part of what makes Diablo, well... Diablo. Our signature randomized dungeons would not feel like Diablo without the ominous lighting setting the mood as players uncover horrifying details around every dark corner. Combat only feels visceral thanks to carefully crafted animations and visual effects that make spells and abilities sing. And while stats might make or break an item, we often can’t wait to get our hands on a piece of gear purely because of how incredible it looks.

Character art is equally important as it encompasses two of Diablo’s key elements: classes and monsters. The look and feel of the classes has always been one of Diablo’s secret ingredients, each class instantly recognizable and imbued with a strong and unique personality. Diablo IV offers players more customization options than ever in a Diablo game, which makes achieving that result more challenging, but the outcome is well worth it. Your Barbarian is different from anyone else’s but still feels undeniably like a Barbarian. With monsters, the focus has been on creating new foes and updating classics drawn from the pantheon of atrocities in our previous games, while using new processes and technology to their fullest.

To give us a better look at everything involved in this process, I now leave the rest of the update in the hands of our very own Art Director, John Mueller, and his team.

We hope you enjoy it and look forward to your thoughts and reactions! As always, let us know what topics you want to hear about in the future. Be sure to stay tuned, as we’re planning to delve deeper into the topics of sound design and endgame systems later this year.

Thank you, and until next time!

    -Luis Barriga,
    Game Director, Diablo IV

    John Mueller,
    Art Director

Our beautiful and iconic hell fiend, Lilith! This is a capture from one of the in-game cinematics rendered in the Diablo IV game engine. This level of detail is now standard for how we present the major NPCs, classes, and monsters in Diablo IV.

    Hi all,

We are excited to do a deep dive on the character art for Diablo IV! This is a pretty exciting topic for our team, because so damn much has changed from Diablo III! You will get to hear from our Lead Character Artist, Arnaud Kotelnikof, and Nick Chilano, our Associate Character Art Director. They will be sharing a lot of cool visuals from our ongoing development related to character art that we’re revealing here for the first time. There’s a lot of ‘work in progress’ here; our goal is to give you an early look at content to get a sense of the direction we are taking. I don’t have a lot of caveats, though, as at this point the work is a very good representation of what you will see when the game is in your hands.

When it comes to the topic of character art, I can say we've had an epic journey during development, so let's pull back the curtain and take a look! First, I need to give a big shout-out to our amazing character art team, engineering team, animators, lighting artists, and technical artists—without them, none of this would be possible!

When I think back to the beginning, I think at the highest level, our goal was to make the characters in Diablo IV look as artistic and as hand-crafted as possible using the latest tools and techniques. Over time, our ambitions around what we thought we could achieve evolved and really solidified into what you see today. We wanted to use the latest tools and techniques, but we did have a concern about leaning into ‘realism’ in a way that wouldn’t have that hand-crafted feeling we felt was fundamental to a Blizzard game. We didn’t want the characters to feel procedural or generic because of these processes. We also embraced realism in terms of materials and character appearance. I think the touchpoint being the amazing pre-rendered look from the Diablo III cinematics. We loved those and it felt like a strong foundation to build upon in regards to the characters and achieving that warm quality that came through in the cinematics but in a real-time game environment. We thought it was ambitious, but possible. This of course is a simplified summary of the thousands of conversations it took to achieve the results we have today, but what's meaningful is that during the journey nobody was arguing for our limitations. Nobody ever said we shouldn't, we couldn't, or we can't...everyone said yes, even when it meant starting over or throwing out work, everyone really pushed and brought their best to this work. I think this is one of the truly unique aspects of Blizzard...we all said 'Yes, and...' instead of 'No, because...' it's a wonderful aspect of working here.

That singular focus and commitment to quality led us down a very long, winding, and challenging path to where we are today. The challenges required us to completely rebuild our rendering engine and authoring tools. We needed to assemble a world-class character team comprised of artists, tools engineers, rigging specialists, lighting and surfacing experts. This was a complete overhaul.

You can choose from a variety of personas and customize them with a slew of detail options during character creation.

We made massive improvements to the level of detail, the surfacing of complex materials like skin, cloth simulation, hair, fur, metal, even down to the details of the highlights of the eyes and rivulets of perspiration. We built a robust character customization system that is entirely new to Diablo and it was a daunting amount of technical character work. These solutions had to work not just for a single character, but for hundreds of componentized armor sets, different body types, dozens of unique personas, and completely unique art for five distinct classes (to start). This was an entirely new challenge for our team to tackle.

I can say now (with the hard work behind us and the comforting steady hum of our pipeline) that it was all worth it. We hope you agree (when you play it) that it really enhances the overall experience of the character's journey exploring the world of Sanctuary and makes the story, the gear, and the ways you see the characters of Sanctuary that much more enjoyable.

Most importantly, we hope you feel the love and care we've put into creating the gear and characters you will see in the game. Beyond just living out my most awesome Barbarian fantasy, we're honored to bring this work to you!

We call this our Lair scene. Players will customize the look of their character here in our exciting new Wardrobe system that allows you to mix and match hundreds of armor components unique to your class, alongside custom color palettes to create the class fantasy that best represents your character.

One of the benefits of the investments we've made in our character art development pipeline is that now most of our story cutscenes will be rendered in our engine using the game models. In previous Diablo games, the high fidelity cinematic story moments were all pre-rendered. We will still have those amazing cinematic moments from Blizzard Animation, but now we also have cinematic moments that feature your character up close, rendered in our game engine. We have been working closely with the legendary Blizzard Animation team to bring as much of their knowledge into our process as possible. The Rogue Announce trailer was a really fantastic collaboration where we were able to push the limits of our tech and tools.

The Rogue Announce trailer was created entirely in our game engine.

We are getting to geek out about how good things look up close, but all things Diablo are in service to our isometric point of view. The fidelity we put into the characters and the balance of detail all has to work with our game camera. Those looking closely will notice we like to work with bigger shapes on the armor, and we tend to reduce things that affect readability. I think we've found a sweet spot of detail that retains the readability, works well with the environments, but also keeps things looking grounded, which is super important for this vision for Sanctuary and how we present the world to you, our most important critic.

While I’m really happy with where we have arrived. I know we are going to keep pushing the bar at every opportunity and at Blizzard, releasing a game is just the beginning! I hope you enjoy the rest of the deep dive on character art with Arnaud and Nick!

    Arnaud Kotelnikoff,
    Lead Character Artist

Thanks for joining us! I’d like to dive into character customization and some of the visual improvements we developed for Diablo IV.

Diablo IV has more in-depth customization for your characters than we’ve had in any previous Diablo games. You will be able to change the face of your character, the hairstyle, the facial hair (beards and eyebrows), and add jewelry (nose piercing or earrings), makeup, and body markings such as tattoos or body paint. You will also be able to change the color values of your character’s skin, eyes, hair/facial hair, and body markings. Some elements will be class specific, to support the classes’ unique backgrounds, but many will be shared between classes allowing more possibilities to mix and match. You can see some examples of these customization options throughout this blog.

Now I want to talk about some of the challenges we faced.

Dark Fantasy Meets Realism Through Physically-Based Rendering (PBR)

Diablo IV is intended to have a look that is grounded in reality, and to achieve that we need to follow some basic rules of color value, such as PBR, which means our materials look and react to light in a realistic way. The challenge for the 3D artists is to transfer the color of a concept drawing to a PBR value. For example, in PBR, silver is a very bright grey, almost white, and the reflection of the material makes it look darker. All the characters in Diablo IV follow the PBR rules, to ensure that our characters look as good in daylight as they do in a dark dungeon.

    Expanding the Dye System

Tools that empower players to customize the look of their characters help build a stronger connection to those characters and the game. Our dye system allows you to change the color palette of your armor pieces, such as changing silver to gold or replacing a white cloth for a black cloth, etc.

Each part of the armor can be dyed, including the helmet, chest, gloves, legs, and boots. You can dye each piece with a different color palette if you choose, or apply the same palette to all of them.

This system was challenging to implement because materials such as metal do not allow themselves to be dyed with inappropriate colors when they follow PBR rules. To address this, we added data to our armor that identifies specific material types and tells the dye system what color goes on what material, such as leather, fabric, metal, and other specific surfaces. The result is armor that is dyable in a range of colors that still feeling grounded and realistic in the world we’re building for Diablo IV.

Here is an example of the Barbarian with various dye palettes applied to his armor set.

An example of a Sorceress armor set dyed with three different color palettes.

A Close-Up Look at Our Camera

The game camera is one of our top priorities, as we want to make sure the character looks good and readable from the isometric perspective. It’s the first thing we consider in character development. That said, the player character will be displayed in a lot of different ways throughout the game, whether that’s the character customization screen, the inventory paper doll, social screens, and in our real-time cinematics, which will often zoom in for a closer view of the character than in the rest of the game. To support that, we have added an extra layer of texture called detail mapping—detail mapping is a small, repetitive texture applied on top of the material that bring more sharpness and detail to the main texture.

Every armor set in Diablo IV has two body types. Here is an armor set for Barbarians with some subtle differences between the two.

Another example of different Rogue body types wearing the same armor set.

Here is a video clip in slow motion of the Rogues, which we recorded in our real-time engine. You can really enjoy the details and see how the light reacts with the materials. You will also be able to see some of our customization elements that I talked about earlier. Please note, the environment is a test scene that modelers use to look at their characters and many of these armors are works in progress and subject to change and polish.

Here is another slow motion video of the Barbarians. Please note that all these armors are a work in progress and are subject to some adjustment.

This is just scratching the surface of what’s to come in Diablo IV in terms of character customization. The team is dedicated to delivering the best quality possible, and we hope that players will enjoy all the options we have available for customizing their characters in Diablo IV.

    Nick Chilano,
    Associate Art Director, Characters

    Hello everyone,

I'm excited to share with you our vision and our process for making monsters in Diablo IV.

With monsters, success requires that many different things come together, but it starts with the player feeling satisfied in killing it. That means the monster needs to visually match its gameplay and have a gory/demonic twist to it. They should look like something you have not seen before as well as taking something visually familiar and brushing it with a Diablo paint brush. That Diablo brush applies a level of detail, an understanding of gameplay needs, a level of artistry, and the demonic Diablo theme to all our monsters.

    Visual Design and Gameplay Intent

For me, everything starts with a goal. Typically, it's a goal from design on what this monster needs to do and what the player experience should be. Making games is a collaboration. Sometimes a visual concept helps drive an idea, while in others a paper design is enough.

    The Blood Bishop

Our game design goal for the Blood Bishop was to make a caster who would cast direct damage and create AOE bombs for area of denial. As for the visual notes, we wanted a high-level boss based on vampiric blood and magic. We knew we wanted to double down on the notion of a heart shape for the function of the blood magic. That naturally led to the notion of arteries creating these blood clots that explode to cast the AOE effect design needs. An exposed beating heart was the natural visual choice. So, the organic pulsing we see, the flowing arteries, and the blood-based VFX all combined to reach an aligned goal the team could get behind. The success here is when the game design needs were met visually in a true Diablo way.

    The Skeleton Lord

This process was similar, but this time we had a visual concept to work from.

This undead Skeleton Lord is made of fused skeleton and body parts, with sinew and blood connecting it together—something we felt fit our game visually. That led to a Design Lead wanting to create a fight based on this character. The Design team was able to create a unique fight based on bone visuals, summoning skeletons, bone walls to restrict pathing, and leveraging the giant staff—one attack has the Skeleton Lord smashing the staff into the ground and creating a shower of exploding bone shards. Even though the art was created first, the Design team leveraged its look to help theme a fun and interesting fight we all enjoy.

The Right Artistic Detail for the Game

We also need to look at our assets from two main focal points. Our game camera and a closer full body size camera. This means we need to understand what is important and what is supporting these elements in terms of overall shape language and finer secondary and tertiary details.

Level of artistic detail is always a challenge. Details need to be readable for the game, colors need to group well, silhouettes need to stand out, as well as being built for performance and movement. Understanding this is key to allowing our monsters to look great from our isometric camera while also delivering stunning details up close.

This Spider feeding upon and birthing spider spawn from a bloated corpse has a great visual design.

The spindly legs and back thorax instantly tell you what it is. That thin look of the legs as it moves down to a thicker body give it a nice balance to settle the shape language from top to bottom. The saturated red of the spider, on top of the cooler and more subdued body, help pop the spider visually so your eye catches it as soon as they show up on screen. When we look closer, you can see the spectacular highlights on the bloated body, the torn and pulled flesh, and the bulging pustules. So, up close gruesome details are visible from the game camera because of the clear shape and color grouping.

This succubus is another great example of an interesting and clear visual read from gameplay, with finer details that don't get in the way of the game camera but really raise the visual bar.

At the game camera we see a familiar silhouette. A winged demon hovering to seduce its prey and attack with magic from a distance. As you look closer, you see intricate details in the cloths, translucent skin on the wings, as well as materials like gold clasps, stitching, and embroidery on the outfit. We also see the wings are attached at the base of the head. A detail that needs a closer look to see but doesn’t complicate the look from different cameras.

    A Modern Pipeline

In order to achieve this, we needed a process and technology to realize these amazing and, honestly, disturbing creations. To do that we have built a world class team creating monsters and demons at a level of quality that raises the bar for the Diablo series.

PBR gives us the ability to create surfaces and materials that look realistic and accurately react to lighting in the world. Leather can look like leather, metals like metals, and organic surfaces can feel appropriately squishy and fleshy by comparison.

This Knight is covered head to toe in metal and fabric that reacts differently based on lighting. You can see nice details and material breaks on the hard surfaces that your eye expects to see. This detail grounds us in a world we all visually know and understand. The difference from a scale pattern of finer metal to large, hammered iron next to gold trim is readily apparent.

Organic surfaces also are represented accurately in our engine. Fur, bone, flesh, and blood are all visible and react to light correctly. This is a Diablo game, after all, and we know these materials will be important.

So that is a brief rundown of some of the things we look at and value when it comes to monsters in Diablo IV. We really enjoy creating enemies, monsters, and demonic creatures that bring out an emotional response from our players, from fear or revulsion to the excitement of slaying them in true Diablo fashion.

In closing, I'd like to say that there are moments as a developer where you are just making the game, day-in and day-out, and you don't always take time to appreciate the craft on display that you are privileged to see every day. I love that we are doing these blogs to give you all some insight into our progress and process. It's a great opportunity for us to reflect on the journey, share our art, and appreciate the craft of our teammates. We hope you like what you see, and please share your comments on your platform of choice. We love to hear community feedback—it's really been a labor of love and an honor to create for you, and we can't wait for you to play it!

    Battle.net Summer Sale

The Summer Sale for Battle.net brings some discounts to several Blizzard Titles, including the Diablo III Eternal Collection; however, we suggest not purchasing the Eternal Collection if you don't already have it. The reason is that the Prime Evil Collection is a better deal since it comes with Diablo II: Resurrected and the Mephisto Pet / Wings for Diablo III.

Our two-week PTR testing period for the 2.7.1 update begins June 17 and we're asking for your help to quell the tides of surging demons. Take a look at the preliminary patch notes below and start theorycrafting how you'll make the most of the Ethereals and new balance changes; Patch 2.7.1 will be arriving soon.

    Table of Contents

Please note that this is a preview for PTR content, which is subject to change.

    PTR Focus & Details

We’ll be conducting the Patch 2.7.1 PTR over the course of two weeks, starting Thursday, June 17. During this time there may be periodic maintenances, outages, hotfixes, or minor patches.

    • There will be three PTR-unique buffs active to help you on your journey: increased Legendary drop rate, increased experience gains, and double Blood Shard drops. You can also buy new gear for testing from the special PTR vendor, Djank Mi'em, who will exchange Blood Shards for class-specific bags full of Legendary items and Ethereals that we'd love for you to test!
    • Class and Balance Changes: To ensure that the most significant class changes receive an ample amount of attention, we'd love for you to focus testing and feedback on the set changes to the Monk's Inna's Mantra set, Crusader's Aegis of Valor set and the Necromancer's Masquerade of the Burning Carnival set.
    • New Season Theme Testing: We're looking to gather feedback on the seasonal theme content featuring Ethereals.

So that we can efficiently review your posts, feedback should be provided in the PTR Feedback forum while bug reports should be provided in the PTR Bug Report forum.

    PTR Testing Tips

As with our previous PTRs, this testing period is short, so it's best to hit the ground running. Whether you’re a PTR veteran or newcomer, we thought we’d pass along a few tips to get you started.

    • Because of the limited duration of this PTR, we ask that participants pick a particular portion of this update to focus on testing.
      • For example, if you’re primarily a Wizard player, consider what changes impact the Wizard specifically. What you like best, what you think may still need adjustment, and what you’d want to see in the future (even if that may be beyond the scope of this patch) are all good questions to ask yourself.
    • Prior to the start of PTR, consider stocking up on items like Puzzle Rings and Bovine Bardiches. Having these available after you import your character can make any necessary PTR farming much faster!
    • Try to break things! Just tell us when you do so we can make sure that the patch launch is as smooth as possible.
    • When providing feedback, focus less on a solution and more on your experience. How did the changes make you feel? Was there something “off” that you noticed? Did something seem wrong or insufficient? Suggestions are always welcome but identifying the issues themselves is most important.

    Patch Notes

Below you will find the patch notes for the upcoming update for Diablo III, Patch 2.7.1.

    PATCH 2.7.1

    Table of Contents:

Note: All changes apply to all versions of Diablo III, including PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC unless otherwise indicated.

    Seasons

Developer's Note: Diablo II left us with fond memories when it released more than 20 years ago, and with Diablo® II: ResurrectedTM coming soon, we’d like to introduce a feature to honor that legacy. For this seasonal theme, our inspiration took shape by reimagining how Ethereal items could manifest in Diablo III. In Season 24, Ethereals are rare, powerful, and fleeting items, with 21 iconic weapons from Diablo II making a return.

New Season Theme: Season 24 introduces Ethereals, a new weapon-type that players will be able to acquire and hunt for in their upcoming seasonal journey. Ethereals will roll a powerful set of affixes, a random Class Weapon Legendary Power and a random Class Passive Power. Ethereals will have unique icons, names, item types, and sounds originally found in Diablo II. For additional details on Ethereals, check out the list below:

    • Ethereals are account bound and can only be dropped by monsters, chests, and destructibles, but do not require your character to be level 70 to drop. Ethereals cannot be acquired through Kanai's Cube or from Kadala.
    • Ethereal rarity drop rate is set between Ancient and Primal items.
    • There are 3 unique Ethereals per class. Each Ethereal has fixed affixes and rolls one random Legendary Weapon power and one random Class Passive Skill.
    • Only one Ethereal can be equipped at a time.
    • Ethereals ignore item durability loss.
    • Legendary Powers and Class Passive Skills rolled on Ethereals do not stack with the same power equipped through Kanai's Cube, Items or Skills.
    • Ethereals cannot be Enchanted, Transmogrified, Dyed, Reforged, or traded.
    • Ethereals can be augmented.
    • Collecting all 21 Ethereals during Season 24 will reward players with the Feat of Strength, Ethereal Recollection. Players who accomplish this will have all Ethereal transmogrify options available for future seasonal and non-seasonal play.
    • Ethereals only drop in Seasonal play, and will not transfer to your non-seasonal character when the season ends.

Season Rewards: Two unique new rewards, a portrait frame, and a pet will be granted to players who complete the Season 24 Guardian Journey. Please note that the reward content will not be available during PTR 2.7.1.

    Items

    General

    • Monk | Skill Change:
      • Mystic Ally - Fire Ally: Now splits into 2 splits instead of 5, but now all Fire Allies can split. Damage radius slightly increased and damage increased from 480% to 1920% weapon damage.
      • Mystic Ally - Earth Ally: Damage increased from 380% to 4500% weapon damage.
    • Wizard | Skill Change:
      • Mirror Image:Mirror Image icon now displays a counter to display how many Mirror Images are active.

    Item Changes

    • Inna's Mantra 4-Piece Set: Gain the base effect of all four Mantras at all times. You gain 5% damage reduction for each Mystic Ally you have out. Your Mystic Allies no longer take damage.
    • Inna's Mantra 6-Piece Set: Gain the passive abilities of the five runed Mystic Allies at all times. Attacking enemies creates your chosen Mystic Ally that lasts 15 seconds, up to 10 Mystic Allies. The damage of your Mystic Allies is increased by 950% for each Mystic Ally you have out.
    • The Crudest Boots: Mystic Ally summons two Mystic Allies that fight by your side. They deal 300% to 400% increased damage and are able to attack with their active forms longer.
    • Bindings of the Lesser Gods: Enemies hit by your Cyclone Strike take 300% to 400% increased damage from your Mystic Ally for 5 seconds. Split Fire Allies gain 5 times this bonus.

Developer's Note: Inna's Mantra played similarly to other Monk sets and didn't have a strong identity. We want to see the Mystic Ally play a more important role, rather than simply providing a passive power boost.

    • Aegis of Valor 2-Piece Set: Attacking with Fists of the Heavens empowers you, allowing Heaven's Fury to deal 125% increased damage for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
    • Masquerade of the Burning Carnival 6-Piece Set: Bone Spear cast by you and your Simulacrums deals 6000% increased damage.

Developer's Note: Aegis of Valor and Masquerade of the Burning Carnival have been overperforming for several seasons. We're adjusting these sets in the interest of competitive variety.

    Bug Fixes

    How to Participate

To participate in the public test, you must have a Diablo III game license attached to a Battle.net account in good standing (i.e. one that hasn't been suspended or banned). In addition, you will also need to download and install the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app if you have not already done so.

    • Step 1: Restart the Battle.net desktop app.
    • Step 2: Navigate to the Diablo III tab on the left-hand menu.
    • Step 3: On the Diablo III screen, there is a drop-down menu right above the "Play" button (note that this may say "Install" if you do not have Diablo III currently installed). Select "PTR: Diablo III" from this drop-down menu before proceeding.
    • Step 4: Click Install to begin the installation process.

Your PTR account will be created automatically if you do not already have one. The PTR is available in all supported languages, and accounts from all regions are eligible to participate. For additional assistance with installing and launching the PTR, click here.

    PTR Character Copy

The option to copy your existing Diablo III characters from your live account to the PTR will be available and can be done directly through the PTR client. However, only one region per account can be copied at a time. So, if you choose to copy characters from your account in a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost.

    • Step 1: Log into the live game and then log out.
    • Step 2: Log into PTR client and create a level 1 character. After you're done, return to the main character screen.
    • Step 3: Click on the "PTR Copy" button located in the upper right-hand corner. (The PTR Copy button will not appear in-game until you have created a new level 1 character.)
    • Step 4: Select your region.
    • Step 5: Click "Copy." This will copy all characters on your account from the selected region.
    • Step 6: You will be disconnected from the PTR client.
    • Step 7: Log back in. Your copied characters will be available for play.

Please note that you can only copy characters from one gameplay region at a time. If you choose to copy characters from a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost. In addition, you can only copy characters over to your PTR account once every 24 hours. Attempting to copy characters before this cooldown is up will result in an error.

As this is a test server, please anticipate uneven game performance, and note that restarts and downtime may occur without warning. Thank you, and we look forward to your feedback!

    No BlizzCon In 2021

Saralyn Smith, Executive Producer of BlizzCon, has announced that there will be no BlizzCon in 2021; however, there are plans for a global event in the early part of 2022 which will combine an online show similar to BlizzConline with a small in-person gathering.

    Greetings Blizzard community,

I hope you’re all staying safe and well. As guidelines in California around in-person gatherings continue to evolve and the status of the pandemic fluctuates around the globe, the teams across Blizzard have been discussing what this means for one of the events we miss the most: BlizzCon. We know some of you might be wondering about your own plans to potentially cross the country—not to mention oceans—and meet your friends, family, and fellow community members in California, so today, we wanted to give you a heads-up that we’ve decided we will not be holding BlizzCon this year.

Building an in-person BlizzCon is an epic and complex affair that takes many months of preparation—not just for us, but also for the many talented production partners, esports pros, hosts, entertainers, artists, and other collaborators we team up with locally and globally to put all of the pieces together. The ongoing complexities and uncertainties of the pandemic have impacted our ability to properly move forward on many of these fronts, and ultimately we’re now past the point where we’d be able to develop the kind of event we’d want to create for you in November.

But we don’t want to let too long go by before we connect with everyone again. So in the meantime, we’re planning a global event for the early part of next year, combining an online show along the lines of our recent BlizzConline with smaller in-person gatherings, and we’ll share more as our plans come together.

We very much look forward to celebrating with you all again. Until then, we’ll see you in Azeroth, Outland, Sanctuary, and all the other worlds we call home.

Datamined Legendaries For Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha

With the Diablo Immortal closed alpha in full swing, we datamined all of the legendary effects that are currently implemented in the game, including the Necromancer items! Please note that Immortal is still in development, and things will change as it gets closer to launch. The level at which these datamined legendaries begin to drop are inaccurate due to the change in level cap from technical alpha to closed alpha. The maximum obtainable level has been increased from level 45 to level 55 in the closed alpha, with a planned level cap of 60 at launch.

Following the Technical Alpha in December, the Diablo Immortal team continues to make significant progress in bringing the world of Sanctuary to life on iOS and Android. To the community members who played, who watched, and those who streamed countless hours of our test, we thank you. We learned so many valuable insights from your experiences beyond our goal of testing server stability and client performance. We’ve pored over the feedback you submitted in-game, across Reddit and social media, and consulted directly with several testers. Thanks to you, our first-ever heroes, we’ve learned a lot regarding progression, our first four classes, itemization, and other early gameplay systems. This process has been invaluable for our development team, and we’re excited to continue collaborating with our fantastic community.

PLEASE NOTE: Diablo Immortal is still in-development. Game content in the Closed Alpha is not final and subject to change.

The Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha will begin with a limited number of Android players in Australia. Additionally, we’ll also be inviting a few members of the Diablo community to join us as we continue discussing and iterating on core Diablo Immortal systems.

In this Closed Alpha, we’ll be introducing some end-game content for testers to experience. We’ll also be raising the level cap from 45 to 55 as we continue to polish existing systems. We’ll touch on that in more detail below, but for now, let’s dive into the new stuff!

    NEW CLASS

Your faith did not betray you. The Crusader is here.

Roam the battlefield as a wrathful zealot, striking with cruel flails and clad in impenetrable armor. Seek glorious purpose ridding Sanctuary of Hell’s abominations and heretics. With your shield, safeguard humanity. With your Holy magic, vanquish evil. With your life, fulfill duty.

The Crusader is a mid-range hybrid caster/melee colossus and one of five playable classes—alongside the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, and Wizard, in the Diablo Immortal Closed Alpha. Presently, we are focusing our gameplay testing in the Closed Alpha on solely these five classes, with the Necromancer to come in a future testing phase.

    NEW ZONES & DUNGEON

The journey continues onwards and upwards. Deep in the heart of the Tamoe mountains, ascend into the new zone Mount Zavain, the home of the Monks, who are among Sanctuary's most deadly warriors. The Khazra, sometimes called “Goatmen” or “Goat Demons,” are on a warpath that threatens the Sentinel's Watch. Repel the savage invasion and plunge into the shrouded mists, confronting nightmares that may contain clues that lead to a shard of the Worldstone.

Trudge north across the snowy wastelands of the Frozen Tundra. Like a plague, war festers in the region around the great mountain of Arreat, where the Lord of Destruction still threatens the world. Only the barbarian tribes can keep the remnants of Baal’s army at bay, but they are scattered and isolated. As they must live united or they will surely die divided, you will rally the barbarians against your common foes or hell will break loose once more.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. A new dungeon has been discovered in the Frozen Tundra, one that contains a relic of a long-forgotten age. In the Cavern of Echoes, adventurers will need to ward off the cold embrace of death as they seek out the Iceburn Tear.

THE CYCLE OF STRIFE – FACTION-BASED PVP

Since the shattering of the Worldstone, the eternal conflict between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells has spilled out across the world. The realm’s most elite heroes, the Immortals, are sworn to protect Sanctuary from this unending threat. Equipped with the Eternal Crown and access to the Immortals’ Vault, they have a plethora of tools to remain eternally vigilant in their watch over humanity. Such peril calls for accountability, and the Shadows lurk, watching keenly, to make sure the Immortals don’t waver from this crucial task. If they should prove unworthy of their station, the Shadows will take the Immortals down and rise upas the new protectors of Sanctuary. And they will know that as the new Immortals, the next group of Shadows will be watching, waiting to advance the cycle once more.

    The Cycle of Strife

In the Cycle of Strife, three factions wage war for the Eternal Crown—an ancient source of power central to the Cycle of Strife. They are the Adventurers, the Shadows, and the Immortal(s).

Prepare for War: Getting started as an Adventurer

In Diablo Immortal, only those with a razor-sharp sense of survival live long enough to decide their own fates. Among them are the thrill-seekers and treasure hunters known as Adventurers.

All Heroes will start as Adventurers, and can take on daily missions to quell the churning evil and journey the world. Once ready, Adventurers may make the decision to challenge the throne as a Shadow or seek out an invitation to join the ranks of the Immortals.

Become what the light fears: Embrace the Shadows

Beyond their sacred halls, there are those who watch the Immortals with great scrutiny. They are known as the Shadows, and their singular purpose is to make sure the Immortals uphold their duties in defending Sanctuary from the Burning Hells. If the Immortals should fail in their righteous duty, or prove too weak to protect Sanctuary, the Shadows will take their place. Only the most elite defenders are worthy of the Eternal Crown and the noble burden behind it.

What you’ll do as a Shadow:

Ultimately, all Shadows’ tasks advance their goal of initiating the Rite of Exile (explained further below), their hard-earned chance to take down the seated Immortals. However, even from within there is competition. The Shadows fight amongst themselves to discover the strongest candidates to take on the Immortals before this important rite. Shadows who have rallied under a single banner to form a Dark House (explained further below) will challenge Shadows in other Dark Houses to qualify for the final showdown with the Immortals. Only the top Dark Houses will qualify to participate in the Rite of Exile.

    Contracts

Shadows will pursue themed quests, Contracts, to increase their standing and rank in the Dark Houses they represent. Like other Shadow activities, Contracts will contribute to the chance to contest the reigning Immortals in the Rite of Exile.

Here’s what you can do as a member of the Shadows, and what you’ll earn from participating:

    Raid the Vault

Shadows can sneak into the Immortals’ Vault and try to escape with as much loot as they can carry. Of course, the longer you stay in the Vault, the more likely you’ll alert the guardians and summon Immortal players.

Shadows beware, if alerted, Immortals can teleport into your Vault raid and fight you in direct PvP combat.

NOTE: If you’re defeated, everything you’ve earned from raiding the Vault is lost. To initiate a Raid the Vault event, a Hero or party member will need to have a Shard of Living Night.

    Path of Blood

To test their mettle and see if they’re worthy of the Immortal throne, Shadows can plunge into short but challenging solo encounters against groups of demons and monsters in Path of Blood. As the event level increases, so too does the difficulty of enemies.

NOTE: Defeating a floor in the Path of Blood progresses your rank within the Shadows, as you get closer on your journey to claiming the Eternal Crown.

    Assemblies

The congregation of war against the standing Immortals begins here. At specific times and days of the week (Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Pacific), Shadows who are rank Apprentice I or higher may create a Dark House and begin Akeba’s Challenge. Here, heroes will face off against 3 powerful summoned Ancient Warriors.
Shown below are the times Akeba’s Challenge can commence:

    Region

    Day & Time

    United States (local server time)

    Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

    Australia (local server time)

    Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

    France (local server time)

    Wednesdays & Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

While all Shadows work together to upset the balance of power and replace the Immortals, the throne can’t seat everyone. The top 10 Dark Houses will have a chance to send in their champions to attempt to take down the Immortals when the Rite of Exile begins. And, if the dust settles and the Immortals are defeated, only one Dark House can take up the Eternal Crown.

NOTE: A Dark House is a group of likeminded Shadows rallied under a single banner.

    Rite of Exile

If victorious in the Rite of Exile, the top Dark House will become the new Immortals during Closed Alpha. When the Rite of Exile commences, Shadows of the strongest Dark Houses will be pitted against the Immortals in PvP combat. Should the Shadows win, a new Immortal will be crowned and a new Cycle will begin. If the Shadows fail, the victorious Immortals will continue their reign.

This version of the Rite of Exile is still in-development and more details on how this mode will evolve will be shared in the future.

Prove that the Eternal Crown is rightfully yours as an Immortal

While only one Hero, the Immortal leader, can wear the Eternal Crown, those counted among their closest allies form the Immortals faction. Once you have successfully claimed the throne and become the Immortals, your goals will be to grow your Dominance as an Immortal and defend your reign against Shadows and their Dark Houses that see you as no longer worthy.

Crowns of the Immortals & Essentia

The Immortal leader who bears the Eternal Crown will honor four Lieutenants with crowns of their own. Each crown grants an extraordinary power once it has reached a certain level of progression thanks to the reign's Dominance. A mixture of offensive and defensive buffs will emanate from these Legendary items, amplifying the wearer’s might as well as that of other Immortals in close proximity.

As Immortals complete tasks (I.e., Daily Goals) the Immortals will accumulate Essentia, a resource to spend which enables attempts on raids like Kion’s Ordeal.

    Kion's Ordeal

Kion's Ordeal is a unique raid that is only available to the Immortal faction. Whenever the Immortals are ready, they may spend Essentia to attempt the raid. Up to 48 players can participate simultaneously with the goal of taking down four bosses within 30 minutes.

Successfully completing Kion's Ordeal will not only bestow powerful loot, but it will also grant the Blessing of Daedessa to Immortals and Adventurers – this buff provides a bonus to Elder Rifts and fills the Immortals’ Vault.

NOTE: Failing Kion's Ordeal costs resources and if not refreshed successfully before it expires, the Blessing of Daedessa instead is bestowed upon the Shadows

    Defend the Vault

The Shadows may attempt to raid the Immortal Vault. When this happens, the Immortals must rally a defense to defend the Vault from the incursion. If alerted to this raid, Immortals can show up to help their Vault Guardians and try to stop the Shadows from making off with any of their riches or equipment.

NOTE: Immortals will be temporarily invulnerable when they enter the Vault.

Cycles in Diablo Immortal: Welcoming the new Rulers

Cycles in Diablo: Immortal are dictated by the overthrow of the currently seated Immortal. If a Dark House ascends by defeating the Immortals in the Rite of Exile, the current Cycle ends, and a new Cycle begins. At that time, everything connected to the current Cycle resets. This includes all ranks, Eternal Crown levels, Path of Blood progress, and so on. Additionally, when a Cycle ends, participating heroes earn Deeds of Valor, special titles connected to their performance that Cycle. The former Immortal and their Lieutenants will be engraved on the Wall of Honor, as a permanent place of remembrance to reflect on that group’s reign.

NOTE: If the Immortals successfully defend the Crown during the battle, the Cycle will continue as normal.

    BATTLEGROUND

Before they attempt the Cycle of Strife, the Battleground is where player character heroes will first test their mettle. By visiting the Immortal Overlook in the bustling city of Westmarch, heroes may opt into an 8 vs. 8 player vs. player contest by speaking with the Battleground Captain. Heroes may choose to attack or defend, or they can permit the game to choose for them in exchange for better rewards.

Heroes on the attack need to slay Guardians and escort Zealous Idols to destroy the Ancient Heart, the source of their enemy's power. Defenders need to prevent the attacking team from destroying their objective before the time expires or eliminate enough of the attackers to thwart the assault.

    HELLIQUARY

After finishing the Main Quest in Bilefen, heroes will reunite with Deckard Cain in his Workshop. Deckard Cain will introduce you to his new Barbarian friend, Rayoc, a young man from Arreat. Rayoc, alongside Charsi, an old acquaintance from the past (and blacksmith), has been developing a device called a Helliquary. This machination allows heroes to locate powerful demons and trap them! Once the demons are defeated, the Helliquary can turn their Demonic Remains into power the Hero can take advantage of.

The Helliquary needs to level up to handle additional Demonic Remains as the Hero progresses. To level-up a Helliquary, heroes need to earn Scoria, a special material that can only be refined by Charsi. Charsi will refine Scoria into Hellfire Scoria, the material used to ascend this device. As the Helliquary ranks up, the Hero becomes imbued with more power. At specific intervals in the Helliquary’s progression, opportunities to confront powerful demons will arise. Muster your courage, sharpen your weapons, prepare your potions, and ready your arsenal. The demon targets get more and more powerful as the Helliquary advances. This end-game system pits heroes against dangerous bosses, requiring that they prepare accordingly, and even work together, to surmount these challenges. Only those who succeed will earn the greatest rewards!

NOTE: Scoria is a material that can be found on the Honor Merchant, as well as in Bounty Chests.

NOTE: Heroes become more powerful and gain a Challenge Rift buff upon adding Demonic Remains to the Helliquary. This buff improves power level within a Challenge Rift.

    ESSENCE TRANSFER VENDOR

Adventurers visiting the city of Westmarch will find Zamina standing at the base of a withering tree. Players will seek her out to customize their Legendary gear with the Essence Transfer system, a system inspired by the Kanai’s Cube feature from Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. Players can extract the Essence of a Legendary item, permanently adding that Legendary item to their collection. Then, players can use the Inherit option to transfer that Essence onto another Legendary item, causing it to replace the Legendary property, name, icon, 3D model, and flavor text with those from the collected Essence.

Furthermore, it will keep all its other traits, including current attributes, Magic and other properties, rank, gems, and sockets. Don’t worry, this process is reversible, so you’ll be able to use it to customize your gear without losing anything.

In this way, Zamina’s craftsmanship empowers heroes to customize the Legendary items they have collected, increasing their Rank and perfect attributes to craft something truly Legendary.

    LET THE TEST BEGIN

    FAQ

    Q. How do I take part in the Closed Alpha?

    A. Currently, the Closed Alpha is primarily limited to Android users in Australia.

    Q. How many players will take part in the Closed Alpha? Why Australia?

    A. We anticipate a couple of thousand players will be able to take part in the Closed Alpha. Mobile game development can often benefit from multiple rounds of public testing. By holding this limited Closed Alpha in a smaller region, we’ll be able to take in valuable server stability and client performance data, as well as critical gameplay feedback, to ensure that Diablo Immortal feels like a great experience before going wider in the future.

    Q. How long will the Closed Alpha last?

    A. We are aiming to keep the Closed Alpha running for longer than the Technical Alpha back in December. We’ll be testing more late game systems this time, so we’re keeping it up longer to make sure players have enough time to play through all of them.

    Q. What devices does Diablo Immortal support?

    A. We are aiming to bring epic Diablo gameplay to as many devices and players as possible. The Diablo Immortal Technical Alpha will be playable on Apple devices and Android devices and have the following minimum requirements:

    • Android Minimum Requirements
      • CPU - Snapdragon 670 / Exynos 8895 and higher
      • GPU - Adreno 615 / Mali-G71 MP20 and higher
      • RAM - 2GB of RAM and higher
      • Version: Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) and higher
    • Apple Minimum Requirements
      • iPhone 8 and higher
      • Version: iOS 12 and higher

    Q. Why only five classes?

    A. Diablo Immortal will launch with six playable classes—the Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, and Wizard, as well as the Crusader and Necromancer. We also plan to add even more new classes to the game in the future. We are focusing our gameplay testing in the Technical Alpha on the initial five classes as the Necromancer class still undergoes iteration.

    Q. When will Diablo Immortal be released?

    A. We do not have a release date to share at this time.

Though I know the way, I know not what perils will arise to hinder my journey, and as I pass through the first gate, I know that the better part of my soul will remain behind... forever."

    — The Dark Wanderer

About two months ago, the legacy of the Dark Wanderer was renewed in all of us when Diablo II: Resurrected was announced at BlizzConline. One of the most popular PC games of all time (and its expansion, Lord of Destruction®) is making a modern resurgence into our lives. We can’t wait for you to see the fearsome demons, brave adventurers, and the world of Sanctuary completely remastered in up to (if compatible platform and equipment is present) Ultra High Definition 4K (2160p) graphics on PC and consoles; while also having the ability to look through the lens of nostalgia by a press of a button.

    ACTS I & II

    The Sightless Eye

Players will begin their adventure from the Rogue Encampment, a quaint site populated by survivors of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye, as they begin their search for the Dark Wanderer. However, an obstacle blocks the path, the one who supplanted the Sisterhood from the Rogue Monastery stands in between you and the way east. Confront Andariel, Maiden of Anguish, in a climatic showdown.

    The Secret of the Vizjerei

If successful, the pursuit continues. Players will travel eastward to the Jewel of the Desert, the city of Lut Gholein. Although, this trading port isn’t the beautiful pinnacle of commerce it used to be. Following the Dark Wanderer’s visit, it is rife with evil. At night townspeople go missing and there are rumors of undead abominations skulking in the sewers...

    CLASSES

    Amazon

“I shall purge this land of the shadow.” — Amazon

The Askari, also known as Amazons, hail from the Skovos Isles, a group of densely rain-forested islands in the Twin Seas. These mighty warrior women come from a matriarchal society, roaming the realm to pursue mercenary work and expel evil.

With the use of spears and javelins, skewer your foes. With bow marksmanship that rivals the Rogue Sisters of the Sightless Eye, rain volleys of arrows upon demons. With superhuman agility, dodge and evade killing blows. The Amazon is the embodiment of martial prowess, conditioned her entire life for the crucible of war.

    Barbarian

    "I shall meet death head-on." — Barbarian

The “Broken People,” also known as the Barbarians, reside in the hostile wildernesses of Sanctuary, near the base of Mount Arreat. Living on the fringes of civilization, these warriors of brawn are products of their harsh surroundings, molded by perpetual tribal warfare and their constant struggle to survive.

Taunt adversaries into a blind rage that can be easily countered. With unparalleled strength, brutishly pummel enemies out of existence. With berserk fury, make the demons themselves tremble in your wake. Although, he is not as sophisticated as his cultured peers the Barbarian’s savage might is without equal.

    Sorceress

    "Evil beware!" — Sorceress

The Sorceresses originate from the Zann Esu Clan, an ancient order of female mages seeking the purest form of magic. Their entire lives are devoted to study and attune themselves with the magical elements. All of this effort a quest to become the most powerful wielders of magic in the world.

Melee combat is so uncivilized. Blast opponents into a flaming inferno. Freeze the demons of the Burning Hells into icy shards. Shock targets into submission. Don’t underestimate Sorceresses as scholarly pushovers, they are the masters of the elements, with unfathomable capabilities of destruction.

A: Diablo II: Resurrected will launch with the full narrative experience of the game, alongside the narrative content of the expansion, Lord of Destruction. For this test, we really want to hone in on early gameplay in the settings of Acts I & II.

Q: Why are the old in-game cinematics in the Technical Alpha? Isn’t Diablo II: Resurrected getting updated cinematics?

A: The old in-game cinematics are placeholder in the Technical Alpha as the updated cinematics are still undergoing development.

Q: Why is the Technical Alpha PC-only? Will console players be able to test Diablo II: Resurrected?

A: Diablo II: Resurrected will be launching on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. We will be including console players in our future play test phase.

Q: Will my progression from the Technical Alpha carry over to the next test or launch of the game?

A: No, all progression garnered from the Technical Alpha will be nontransferable to later tests or the launch of the game.

Q: Will I be able to load my Diablo II save file into the Technical Alpha?

A: No, save files will not be able to be imported into the Technical Alpha.

Q: Will the Technical Alpha have controller support?

A: The Technical Alpha will have controller support. However, this is still under development so any feedback will be valuable for us during this testing phase.

PLEASE NOTE: The controller support on PC does not fully represent the controller support experience on console. Controller support on console will have unique user interfaces, button layouts, and different option defaults to streamline the native controller interface.

Q: When will Diablo II: Resurrected be released?

A: We do not have a release to share at this time, but it will be coming in 2021.

    Level With A Cause

Level With A Cause (#LWAC), a coalition of streamers from the Diablo 3 community, will be uniting once again for a charity fundraising event during the first three days of the Season 22 opening weekend in Diablo 3. This marks the team’s 11th event over the last few years. Several Diablo 3 community members will be holding live-streams during this weekend in support of this charity drive. During these live-streams, viewers will be able to donate to the SaveTheChildren charity organization.

Level With A Cause was founded prior to the start of Season 11 of Diablo 3 and has been a mainstay of the opening weekend of each new season since that time. The LWAC team has raised over $81,000 to date for deserving charities such as Save The Children, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Take This. LWAC hopes to continue to grow and raise even more money for charities in the future. If you are a streamer looking to participate, more info can be found on the LWAC website. As a viewer, you can simply search for LWAC within stream titles on Twitch during the April 2nd to 4th event.

In the U.S. and around the world, Save The Children gives children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, they are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. They do whatever it takes to save children, transforming their lives and the future we share.

You can donate to the Level With a Cause charity event here!

    Challenge Rift - Week 197

Challenge Rift Week 197 is live! Because Season 23 begins this Friday, we advise that you DO NOT complete the challenge rift until after you've made your seasonal character! This week the Challenge Rift features three different Demon Hunter builds! If you are curious how Challenge Rift builds are chosen each week, you can view this official blog post!

Developer Note: With the bulk of patch 2.7.0's focus being on the single-player experience, we recognize that the set reworks and balance changes are some of the most impactful and important to the group play experience. We've heard the outpouring of feedback from the community and have decided to increase the Firebird's Finery 6-piece bonus.
We hope these changes will allow players to explore new strategies in high-end group play compositions for Season 23. We hope you enjoy Firebird's this season, but we will keep an eye on its power and adjust balance in the future.
    • Gears of Dreadlands 6-Piece Set: Your primary skills deal 15,000% increased damage.
    • The Ninth Cirri Satchel: Hungering Arrow is guaranteed to pierce and also deals 450% to 600% increased damage. Hungering Arrow can only pierce up to 3 times.
    • Gazing Demise: The damage of Spirit Barrage is increased by 100% to 150%. Spirit Barrage gains the Phantasm rune that lasts twice as long, and the attack rate from Manitou spectres is increased.
    • Blackthorne's Jousting Mail: Replaced one minor property with a random elemental damage affix.

    Class Set Dungeon Update

    • To account for the Necromancer redesign of the Bones of Rathma set, we have updated the objective to "Revive 100 Corpses" from the current "Raise 100 Skeletal Mages".
Developer Note: In addition to the recent changes, we'll continue to analyze the performance of individual builds and rebalance them to allow for more variety in all categories of gameplay. We appreciate and value your feedback as we continue to analyze and fine-tune the performance of a variety of builds and address the high and low performers in this and future balance patches. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you this season!

For Season 23, this means awards originally available from Season 11 are returning. Pet collectors will be pleased to see the return of the Emerald Dragon… and, in addition to the Pant and Boot slots of the exclusive Conqueror Set, the Treasure Goblins portraits will be available.

However, we know it’s nice to have something new to aim for if you’ve participated in previous Seasons. We’re continuing to provide new End of Journey rewards as introduced in Season 17, with two new cosmetic ones for those who complete the entirety of the Season journey. Prove your worth with The Disciples of Sanctuary alongside and complete the Season 23 Guardian Journey to earn the Lacuni Cub pet and the Chopping Block portrait.

Speed Demon and Need for Speed will serve your purposes. Want to go fast while killing big things? Boss Mode and Worlds Apart are right up your alley. Divinity and Lionhearted are also making a return, if challenging Greater Rifts are more your style. Haedrig’s Gift

Finally, the Class Sets rewarded for completing certain chapters in the Season Journey courtesy of Haedrig’s Gift have rotated once more. We’ve listed the available Sets below. For those new to Seasons, here’s how it works:

Completing Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Season Journey will reward you with three of Haedrig’s Gifts. These contain a few pieces from one of your Class Sets. Players can only unlock one Class Set in this manner per Season across Hardcore and Non-Hardcore, so choose wisely! The set you receive depends on the class of the character you’re playing when you open each Haedrig’s Gift. To collect a full Class Set, you’ll need to open all three on the same character. Here are the sets granted by Haedrig’s Gift in Season 23:

    • Monk - Raiment of a Thousand Storms
    • Demon Hunter - Unhallowed Essence
    • Crusader - Roland’s Legacy
    • Wizard - Tal Rasha’s Elements
    • Barbarian - Wrath of the Wastes
    • Witch Doctor - Helltooth Harness
    • Necromancer - Bones of Rathma
