I can confirm you can wear it with wings.

I was personally running around with my Queen of Blades Wings AND my Warsong Banner at the same time while my little spectral pup followed me. :D

I don't see the issue with playing coop. They WANT you to play coop, hence rewards such as the increased MF for sticking together. Diablo titles (and their subsequent clones such as Torchlight) have always been more fun when playing together as compared to solo...so why not reward it?
Really? Because Josh said, at least once, that no one should be penalized for playing solo.

To say they "want" you to play co-op is outrageously misleading. They want you to play what you want to play and, to that extent, it's pretty silly to try to insinuate they are OK with people who play solo having some kind of inferior experience. If you really believe that line... well then you've been lying to yourself so much that you actually believe it.

All these 4.5 billion XP/hr videos. They're all done in a group. Do you think that's a coincidence? I don't. And, if it's not, I'll be here patiently waiting for people to post videos of them getting anywhere close to those rates solo. I'm not going to bet on that happening, though, because anyone with a brain can see how the math stacks up.

If the bonuses are to help with random bads... then they simply shouldn't be applied to preformed groups. Pretty simple concept, really.
You aren't penalized for playing Solo. Playing solo is the base difficulty of the game and coop makes it EASIER, it isn't the other way around.

The main issue is that + Critical Damage Percent is way too strong. In my opinion that should be taken out of the game. The + Critical Chance Percent should stay in but the Damage should stay at +50% and maybe a few skills or items can boost it but then you might have a big negative such as less max health or you take more damage if hit.
Yes, yes, and yes. Crit Strike Damage is WAY too powerful of a stat. So much so that a socket can completely make or break an otherwise great weapon, simply because you cannot put an emerald into it. They should remove + Crit Damage from gear and roll it into your main stat (making main stat even MORE desireable) and also lower it's potency. Maybe 5% more crit damage every 100 or so of said stat, with the baseline being +50%.

posted a message on Paragon levels or Alts pre expansion?
I'm doing both. I got my Paragon from level 20 to level 75 already and nearly have all classes at level 60 now. The only one missing is Demon Hunter, who is level 35....so I'll easily get her to 60 then continue to level paragon.

Throw all your gear away and dress only in Loot 2.0. Come back here when you rolfstomp T6. I dare you to make it before RoS goes live.
Yeah, I don't know ANYONE who is much above T2 at this point on Loot 2.0 stuff. Almost everyone past that (whom I'm aware of) is using legacy items.... which is kinda frustrating, but oh well it's only a month.
I've replaced most of my lower-end legacy items with better loot 2.0 rolls. Pretty much everything except my weapons are new (even though I got a new version..it lacked a socket. I REALLY wish Blizz would devalue Emeralds in Weapons somehow. Personally I think Crit Strike Dmg should be linked to your primary stat, but I digress). I can do T3...and it isn't a cake walk, but it's also not so hard that I am dying every 2 seconds either. Jumping to T4 would probably be too much, though I haven't tried yet.

Keep in mind that Nemesis bracers spawn out-of-depth (harder than the difficulty you are on) enemies. Those bracers are a big No-No for HC in higher torment :)
Lol. Still, it was fun to touch a shrine and spawn our utter and total death.

Just to put things into perspective here as a Hardcore player. T4 feels pretty dangerous even at 2m toughness (and that includes avoiding all you can). I can only imagine what T5 or T6 are like for people with less toughness. I don't expect any HC players to farm T5 or T6 for quite some time into RoS if at all, unless maybe it's to do Ubers.

Also as a HC player I'm very happy about the changes to lifesteal since in HC one could never really rely on the variance involved to life spiking up and down. The game feels a lot more balanced atm and the HC/SC gap is closing in due to the new play-style enforced by the LS/LL changes.

So, stop worrying about being able to play higher torment and start playing hardcore instead :) It's not as hard or punishing as most people seem to think and you'll come to realize that RoS is very HC friendly
Yeah...I did T6 as mentioned above with less toughness than you just to "test the waters". I happened to have Nemesis bracers (spawns a champion pack when you touch a shrine) and was playing with a coworker of mine. Naturally we bumped into a shrine immediately and I touched it. Big mistake, we didn't last more than about 30 seconds total. Yet the two of us are capable of doing T3 solo on our own. The jumps in difficulty now are HUGE and I am loving it. At first I was worried that T6 wouldn't be as hard as Inferno MP10, or at the very least would be the same. Those fears are gone, as it is very obviously harder than MP10 Inferno ever was as I was able to farm that pre-patch without much worry.

The game is so much fun without life steal... You actually have to avoid getting damaged by certain things. It's a lot more challenging and feels like a game.

Just don't believe all the noobs who claim that they are "farming t6 easy" like a few days after release because they will probably be clearing a very small area and only killing like one pack or a rare mob spawn and farming chests or some crap.

People always bullshit. Some dude on twitch was like "lol wiz op, bought gear for 2m gold on ah and can farm t6 easy" and i spent like half an hour arguing with him basically telling him that he is bullshitting. His argument was that he kites with 200k toughness... I told him that some elite affixes will rape him, he got mad and left the stream eventually.

    Don't believe all the trolls.
I'd like to see someone kite T6 with 200k toughness...then come along a pack with Vortex/Jailer/(insert AoE here affix here).

Good luck kiting it. Jailed? OK teleport out..oh wait now you are vortexed back in and one shot. At 700-800k toughness T6 champs practically 2 shot my Barbarian (who has aboue 70-80k hp)....so a wiz who lacks that passive 30% damage reduction that Barb/Monk get and only 200k toughness would just explode when the mobs even LOOKED at them.

What's the problem with actually working for your gear? I'm sorry you can no longer have your friends boost you or use your mom's credit card to gear up, but I really couldn't care less.

Now when you get good gear you can actually be proud and show it off to your friends and random strangers. Basically this is the same way gearing up works in every single MMORPG on the planet and imo can be very nicely applied to regular RPGs. It makes your accomplishments and time spent in the game a lot more valuable than before.
Be proud to show it to your friends ? yeah I dont think so. Is this really an acheavment? with so tight rolls and smart loot 2.0 that acually makes game plays for you? yeah it takes 0 effort to get geared and have stuff all you want. Sorry its not an acheavment for me.
Also please just mind your own bisness if someone is willing to pay for the gear just let them pay. Its his own choice what he does with his money. Its not PAY2WIN as people just shitting out of it, because what did he win? a better speed of killing mobs?... just think for a second.

What would I want is decrease the Legendary drop, its droping way to much right now and the loot 2.0 is just OP. no wonder trading is basicly useless because of it and children crying for legendary are happy.

-Decrase ammount of Legendary's drops by a lot

    -Enable Trading in between people

-losen the roll ranges, eg- 80-500 dex instead of silly 300-500

    slightly nerf smart loot

-increase the Magic Find importance in the game because its just useless right now, maybe go back when diablo was first realesed? Magic Find splits between members that will both encurage to play in groups and have Magic Find gear in a group.

Also I'm not buying the expansion because of game is too easy and finding gear is a joke.
I love all the people complaining about how frequent legendaries drop. You are going to need them for level 70 Torment....

Level 60 Torment is cake compared to what you are in store for, so enjoy facerolling things with your current "OP" legendaries....that won't last long once you hit Act 5 Torment later this month.

You won't call the game "easy" anymore, the higher level Act 5 Torment is basically punishingly difficult.

So enjoy your easy act 1-4 farming while you can....

posted a message on Loot 2.0 did not change a thing
....if you already had the best of the best before this patch, odds are upgrades for you will be few and far between.

If you did NOT already have best of the best you will be upgrading quite frequently. Roll a new toon and level it to 60...then see how quickly it gains in power compared to previously. But don't go onto you character that you spent bllions of gold on the AH buying the absolute best gear and expect to find upgrades left and right.

Basically they are saying there's no CURRENT plans to take action, but they may decide to at any time. Best to avoid doing it, as you are walking on a knives edge.

When you play with other people, the chances of getting the bonus chest greatly increases.

Torment was practically DESIGNED for multiplayer, and was not really meant to be soloed on anything beyond T2.....

I believe their solution to be fair. Kinda glad that rather than return the gold to the buyer and the item to the seller they let the transaction go through and make the item BoA for its new owner.

Even though I dont use the AH, and hate it completely....this was probably the best way to handle the situation.

You mean: Meanwhile, over at Torchlight 2, people are enjoying the game that feels like Diablo3 should have been.
