Is it true that the first 5 people win? I've was in the top 5 on one and didn't win. Plus it takes them some time before they post the winnders. I know I read that the first 5 with the right answer gets the key but EVERY time they tweeted a question the top 5 correct answers (atleast what I seen on my phone) did not receive a key. Diablofans can we get a confirmation?
Blizzard will likely continue to use the lightest form of IAP/DLC/Microtransaction in the form of vanity items and out-of-game convenience (web AH, web BNet chat).
I agree. It would be very unblizzard like if they started to sell exclusive items on their store. It would also make the game a lot more fun as I would much rather have access to new items with an expansion than microtransactions. If they went do this route it would hurt as a fan.

You aren't losing anything with the change. What did runes do in D2? They created gear and were used in recipes. How is taking runes away any different than D2? Jay Wilson even said they added 3 new character gear slots(shoulders, bracers, pants). Nothing is being lost here other than more difficulty in creating your character. This game is heavily based on gear and at Blizzcon last year Jay wilson said that if the build you choose isn't working(assuming you're gearing towards that build) then they got something to fix.

I had diablo 1 and warcraft 1 and 2 but they just get lost over the years. I did manage to snag a signed d3 poster from Blizzcon last year. Not to mention a warcraft 3 beta disc but same thing, just lost after I got to college.
My setup is in my signature. I'm going to update my computer very soon though with an i7. I just missed the boat when I bought this beast so a new motherboard, ram and processor will be coming. Ebay is the best place to find graphics cards too.
Its weird because way back when diablo was announced they said they wanted to focus heavily on PvP. I guess we could only hope for that to come down the road, but knowing Blizzard now, it'll probably be in the first expansion. I just hope it does have some sort of grind feel like WoW. But PvP specific abilities that you earn would be pretty nice.
Honestly I haven't been playing that much video games at all because I knew this was coming out. But I just picked up Twisted Metal on PS3, and who could forget about Skyrim? I can't wait for real life to come to a screeching halt when this game comes out.

Next is blacksmithing and jewelry crafting. I guess you can piggy back those on your 5 characters.
I don't know all the details but maybe you're going to want your guy to have a different name. With the new naming system they pushed out does that name carry to all your characters or do you get to name each one individually? I would assume individually.
Also it could be for inventory reasons. We don't know if theres going to be another cube or something similiar. That extra main inventory space on other classes could be useful if your shared stash is full.
At the bare minimum you'll have 5 play throughs but if they add ANYTHING that is permanent to character customization that'll cause another play through. I think we're going to have to wait and see on this one.
But think about it. When you played d2 did you have 5 geared guys or more? I can remember 2; a sorc and a paladin and a barb I could never hit my dreams with. Yea its fun watching levels fly on up but with this system you're going to tweak your main(s) and always be in MF mode at the end game.
Off topic I can't wait for the 2nd play through. It hopefully will be super fast and fun since I'll be saving items for that next class.
Pretty simple really. I'd like to check it out in more detail before it is released to get a better idea what I'd like to play come release. I played a bit a blizzcon and the monk was great because it was so op. Blizz pretty much stated everything was jacked up anyways. Not going to know what is going to suit my game style until I actually get some real game time on it.
