Unfortunately, this thread is just another thread where 'bad design' or 'poorly implemented' isn't actually true. It's just code for "They didn't do it the exact way I wanted!"

At first I was like ewww.. I was losing as much as 17k dps.
But then my whole life was revealed.
There is 50% chance to cast a lightning shield to protect you when you are hit.
The thing is, the shield do not protect you. In fact it does ~90-100% weapon damage EVERY SECOND, and it is affected by critical strike.
So it does anything between 35k to 90k every second around you.
With rend + cleave, I do awesome damage.
Also my schaefer's have bad random stats so yeah.
