I usually make male melee characters and female ranged characters. Many melee animations for female bodies have a bit of a 'delicate' feel. When you hit something there shouldn't be anything delicate about it.
Having no access to the beta I'll leave my decision until I've had a bit of a mess around with them. If it hooks me like D2 did then I'll make multiple toons of the same class anyway.
Barbarian. Why? I've always liked the idea of big hairy dumb guys bashing things with large weapons. Sure depending on balance ranged is better, magic is stronger or looks prettier, but I like it simple. I really hope it hasn't become a convoluted multiple resource juggling act.
I've always wanted to play Diablo 3, even before it was being produced and this site owned the domain name. The fact we've been getting information, teasers, trailers and tidbits for so long is enough to make anyone who is remotely interested in it want it more than oxygen.
Sure you can get all the information from fansites and people who actually do have beta access, but who didn't wish they were John McClane instead of watching him.
