he is the Lord of sin, thats why you associate him with sin. Thats a thought I had,the long, evil-esque tongue, maybe Venom(spider-man) looking? And yea, i figured the second one was a blizz post but we dk what it is, it could be one of them, it could NOT be one of them, who knows.

The one above the last one draws my attention also. For some reason it looks like it could be something possible.

Another final thought ive had is, in many a media, demons are portrayed as some being able to shape-shift, and some have been able to in the diablo series. Many think if we got a shapeshifter, it would be belial for the lord of lies would change appearence to lie to people. What if its Azmodan (or both for that matter)? Hes my meaning, what if Azmodan (being Lord of Sin) could shape-shift and take a different appearence for some of the Deadly Sins. Maybe his quests would be fighting him in different areas, GREED Azmodan, fought in a cave riddled with gold and riches... thats the only one immediate to my mind, but in that idea, he could be a shape-shifter.

probobly not out of, just from above, and it goes directly down and around looking like it. So are aloty of people thinking hes going to be a shape-shifter? I understand as the lord of lies, where you get the impression, but even if so, what do we think he true from would be, we know there must be one if were going to fight him.

And, the goat one was the first that drew my attention too, but I dont see how the Lord of Lies is related to them, especially when it was mages that turned them into that state. A giant goat creature could just be a cool sub-boss type like in the vein of the thousand pounder or siege beast, a boss of a goat-man oriented quest?

Im starting two threads real quick on discussion of the two missing Demons.

This thread, and its sister thread, "Our Azmodan" found here - http://diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?p=548806#post548806

Heres the main discussion, WHAT WHILL BELIAL TURN OUT TO BE? We will have images of his interpretation from multiple other Medias (games, religious figures, ect ect...) And we will see what we think we will be getting out of Belial.

IMAGES I FOUND ONLINE OF "BELIAL"

(the above done by an unknown diablo fan himself)

Just a few of the images I've found online. What do you guys think we will get in terms of BELIAL? Do you think he will be based on or have similarities to an of these, or can you describe your own image of what you think he will be?

Sorry for the utter lack of quality Azmodans, but quite frankly, most images found interesting, were under site construction... like this...

We smashed, sous got freed. Wasnt it they needed the stones to anchor to sanctuary because the worldstone kept it hidden form most angels and demons. Isnt that why it says now santuary is aware to everyone? I think now they can come to santuary full-power instead of having anchors, like ive said the whole time, and heres my argument.

Mephisto - Shattered stone and implanted in council. His soul was still techniccally partially in each piece, thats what turned them all half-demon-esque. Now that they dont require the stones, his soul isnt split.

Diablo - Was weaker, needed weaker body. Got stronger, stronger body. Now is free, can exist full-powered no human anchor needed.

Baal - Same idea. No anchor needed means no restraint, and his being in sanctuary instead of spirit, because the stones held the SPIRITS.

BUT thinking about it, before we were fighting the SPIRITS from the soulstones, what if we destroy the actual BODY now that it can enter sanctuary. Does it mean destroy demons BODY, -- PERMANENTLY destroy demon???

i guess its personal preferance. No problem with that. And for the most part, yea ur right about act2... 3 real quests. radament alone, after rad-CVT creating the staff, everything else, find and destroy duriel. However, I do like the idea of the seven tombs, but I think it wouldve been better if they hadnt given us the right one, just made each smaller so going through 4 to find them wouldnt be bad, or deployind a few ppl to a few tombs at a time online.

And everyone knew about act4 lol, but I think it wouldve been more redundant to make "Destroy Soulstone" quest and "Eliminate Hephasto the Armourer" quest lol kinda like summoner.

But for that aspect, A3 was the same, just replace the flail with staff... ahhh the repetition... hopefully not D3 though!

Yea. If we knew more on izual we'd know alot more about this subject in the firstplace, seeing as he did the whole soulstone idea from the beginning he has vital pieces we are missing.

Its not expeliamus, its avada kedavra! *Blinding green light* lol.

But what I mean altogether in the end, is answer this question.

If diablo was weaker with a weaker mortal, stronger with the wanderer, do you think he would be more pure, more powerfull and all-fearing without needing to bind to a mortal human, do you think it is more of an anchor that weakens him, or just something to do, hop from person to person?
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
and for that stupid matter, destroying Ds soulstone set his soul free since it was imprisoned in it, with his soul just roaming around, couldnt it just up and enter somone without the whole forehead-stabbing deal?

lmao, thats why the barbarian is returning! we destory the soulstone and he flies into the barb, thats why he goes nuts from his memories like the wanderer! lmao. We go on to kill ozmodan and beliel for diablo and little did we know, YOU were diablo! dun-duh-dunnnnn! lmao crazy randomness

I dont mean he necessarily means that he wants to die to come back stronger everytime, I mean like.... ahh i dont know how to explain it, any HARRY POTTER FANS? XD I am.. anyway

If you understand, voldemort split his soul into 7 and hid them to make himself "immortal" but each piece that split mad him weaker. Its like, The more PURE diablos actual being is, the more powerful he is in comparison to himself.

Lets almost make this for understanding a relation to.... Ethnicity.

lets say for sakes, that theres 100% of some ethnicity, and combining himself with somone who is 100% another different ethnicity would result in him being 50/50(DIABLO 1, half-strength from being harbored by a child.)

THEN by leaving the child and entering the stronger warrior it would be like taking a 100%ethnicity and combining with somone 50% you and 50% different ethnics, resulting in a 75%combination(DIABLO 2, more strength).

Now, with the worldstone gone, your pure, of 100%your own ethnics, and dont need to combine with anything, your not 50%, not 75%, BUT PURE, 100% NATURAL.

This whole post, is probably pretty hard to understand, but if you do understand, you might get what im getting at. Not, "I want to die" b ut IF I die, i have (HP reference - another piece of soul) one more final chance, IF i die, When the worldstone is destroyed, I can come back pure, no dirty-blood." your final chance. if you die the third time, your done, YOU died, not the mortal, its your LAST chance.

thats what im saying, I think it WAS a complete quest but had to be replaced with something quick. You think the summoner? I see your reason, but id stilll think it would be the dark sky one from A2, because the whole point is to travel in a bit more darkness than usual untill you do the thing at the CVT, which we had to go to anyway because of the staff, it always seemed redundant to me.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
Ive also had thoughts of its relation to a quest in A3. The blade of old religion creates a "barrier" that stops monsters from entering the town. Maybe they moved it up and changed it a bit, instead of a barrier that stoped further adventure, they made it the DISAPPEARANCE of a barrier that savies the city from monsters.

And yes, the information wouldnt do much but me fun facts, but wouldnt you want that? I think it would be amazingly cool to find out what was going through developers minds that never came to completion. Maybe its just me?

That isnt what I mean and the soulstone had nothing to do with anything. I said the WORLDSTONE that baal destroyed. And the idea of what was setting back was using a mortal to exist.

In D1, he was weakened by the child he used to take form, and it was revealed he wanted to be slain by a more worth mortal, because then he could influence them to use his soulstone, which they did.

Maybe in D2, that was another milestone to full power, maybe along the way, he realized even though this mortal is much more powerful than the child, being anchored to ANY mortal weakens his form, and only existing as himself alone brings his full power.

THEN diablo finds out Baal intends to destroy the worldstone, and maybe for somereason the destruction of it, will allow diablo to roam free without ANY mortal anchor to weaken him. Maybe he was saying, "I doesnt matter If I die, When Baal destorys your worldstone, ill walk the earth wit no human contaminant."

LOST souls, exactly. Those who havent went to "heaven OR hell"--defined by Sanctuary anyway. I think its very plausible to use the idea from diablo1, he wanted to die, got stronger, yet still anchored. D2, didnt necessarily want to die, but when he realized he would, "nnot even death......" and he then wanted to, knowing or believing, his brother Baal would destroy the stone and lead him to become all powerfull again, entering sanctuary some time later with no anchor at all.

I dont think it would be TOO far-fetched, think about this:

It was revealed DIABLO wanted to die in D1, because he knew he would get a stronger host. What if he wanted to die in D2 also, (knowing his brother Baal's plans with the worldstone, and assuming victory) he would assume he could retun WITHOUT a human host, being 100% of his demonic self instead of being weaked by even a stronger mortal person. Maybe he said or MEANT "Not even killing me, will save you" because, killing him, when Baal destoryes the worldstone, he may return as himself with NO human ancor.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
And yes, I would say you cant be damned to hell without being able to go to heaven also in sanctuary. Otherwise, why wouldnt everyone be a murderer and outlaw? Nomatter what your screwed, lets raise hell.

even if it was cut fr deadlines, why not say "This is what we planned, and we ran short of time, so this is how it wouldve ran, what wouldve happened, ect ect" Its not like itve been hard. Like now saying UREH has been cut, will they tell us what weouldve happened? Probably not because THAT can be implemented in an expansion, but all the d2 and 1, why not?

And further discussion, say for example the one from act2 WAS scrapped, what do you think replaced it, what was a short simple quest in A2 that couldve been lesser than what that wouldve been.

Maybe THE TAINTED SUN because we had to go through that path requardless for the horadric staff quest? "Hell, we cant do the barrier, lets make it DARK! Thats easy and taks little time"

Thats the only one that makes sense, couldnt be the summoner, that was meant because of the Warrior-Rogue-Mage Diablo/DW-Blood Raven-False Summoner.

    ??what you think
