wernet u saiyng seth that most PvM issues are in trading and there are more in PvP? What I said was I would assume this, because people are predictable, and the monsters AI can only do within the range of its programming, so there would be less in a PvM forum than a PvP forum?

Thats what I thought, and if there is a way to stop leting proxies access the site, thenm all there is is banning single IPs instead of twenty proxies at a time.

I dont think many uses them, this guy siad he knew "hundreds" who used prxies here, I called him a bullshitter

Correct. I have never used it, personally, because I can get what I want fine in-game, although I have made... I believe I am up to three accounts on it because I keep forgetting about it.

Let's analyze why, then. Why do you think there are not as many PvM posts? Because PvM issues are largely trade issues- services, like rushing and levelling, and gear-pedaling, which is directly a part of the PvM portion of the game. If you factor that in, PvP gets blown out of the water on that site. That is how I view it.

However, I would add that the majority of the people I play with do not talk about D2JSP when they want to trade with me or admit to having an account when I ask them. I seem to notice that it is a trend of the "elite" players, which would mean the smallest group of players in-game. This is balanced out by the fact that elite players do more trading than casual and require such a service. If there is anything I think Blizzard skimped on it was trading in Diablo II, which is the games second backbone, and I think they really missed out when they did not think of a trade solution like D2JSP first.
Hes right Vlad, most issues for PvM are trading, what else really is there to cause issues? There SHOULD be more PvP posts BECAUSE PvP cant be controlled, where PvM Artificial Intellegence is.

How many people here use a proxy to access DiabloFans, that honestly isnt avoiding a ban or IP ban?

Were having what I believe is a big issue with atleast one main perosn ducking constant bans by using proxies.

My question is, if we could actually ban prxies form accessing this site, how many people absolutly couldnt use the site because you actually use the proxied legitly and wouldnt come here without one?

There is no set area for griefing now, so PvP can be all over. Yea alot are done in the traditional areas that everone is used to, but it goes everywhere, every act, and people figure out where you are. PvP is excellent, griefing is not. Now as to differences in PvP by realm, idk ive never nbeen able to get into a relam other than my own, but I dont think there would be that much difference. Its not like one part of the world is more violent than the other, everyone has human nature, and a game is a game, people everywhere get on to play.

Umm you just said that im wrong about cows for leveling, when the cncept had absolutly nothing to do with that. And, no there arent. There are hardly any duel games going on, especially in hell, there ahrdly any games going on peroid. I dont think its jsut my realm, but theres wayyy less hell games than anything else. And even if where u are, there are 5-10games in hell and LITTLE DUELING ELSEWERE, tha tproes MY point. you have 10-12 dueling games tops(and in reality it isnt evne that many) and every other gae is PvM which proves theres more PvM.

Umm sorry to say thae largest majority of D2s players are old faitfulls that have been playing for years. And random killing isnt "I can kill you anywhere" becuase people go places and try to hide, not random at all, the randomness, is finding out hwere somone is, hositling them and thenn suprising them when you come through the waypoint after the cooldown, and it isnt right.

Heres the research to show. There are more people in cow games total than there are total in current duel games, almost any given time, and then theres every other game that are PvM. There are never more than 2 duel games per difficulty, three is stretching it on a good day. On a bad day, there are 3-4 cows games full running, which spawn an additional game every 10-15min pending difficulty and players. Heres another fact, if our pase was so PvP oriendted, there are TONS of games with better worked PvP, why are they plaiyng Diablo? Because even the true PvPers do some PvM. And the PvM that arent PvP buffs, may throw in a duel here or there, usually to test new equips, but its a mojority of PvM
