Yeah, Emmo hit the nail on the head, it would be giving someone WoW gold in WoW and exchanging an item in D3. No real money entering the scenario. It was something I was curious about and something I actually wanted to look into since I know the majority of WoW players on my server are addicted to D3 at the moment, and I thought i'd take advantage of it since they're hardcore WoW players too.
I was wondering since it was brought to my attention and some others whom I have played with if trading currency from another game (WoW) for items in D3 since the AH is severely overpriced was against the Terms of Service in any way. Not sure if this is the best question to ask on a forum in the first place but I figured id find out for sure from someone rather than have others take a risk that could get them banned. Any information is appreciated, thank you!
By all means yes I would buy a beta key simply to be able to try it out ahead of time and see how things would work. But yeah there would be the whole "Not a beta" concept to it since everyone would be able to play it and it would be looked at more as a demo. And yeah if everyone had access to it the whole posting bugs or reporting bugs here or there would be more of a negative standpoint to actually playing the beta to assist in prepping the game. But in all honesty yes I would buy the beta, been waiting for so long and after seeing so many reports/screenshots/videos its almost too much to have to wait longer lol.
I would say the reason for getting into the beta would be to have the chance to test out the game iv'e been anticipating for so long. And testing out each of the classes and seeing their abilities first hand even though it wouldn't be a full test would be nice. Also being able to help blizzard with beta reports as well as bug reports so they can figure out whats wrong quicker and get the game out to us asap!
I agree, personally I would have to say Monk would be on top or defined as one of the "Overpowered" classes with the capability of self heals as well as high evasive maneuvers, however I myself will be playing a wizard seeing as it was my main back in D2. Though who knows at this point, only way we can find out is when we step into the game with its eventual release and start testing out everyone past the betas limits!
