I'd also like to know if you get any money/free copy of the game when you do that upgrade. I don't expect it, but it would be pretty awesome to give/sell the extra copy to a friend!
I'm down. I play DH and played it during beta, so I like to think I know how she handles. I should be back from work around 7PM EAST, so give me shout! My battletag is attached to my profile (thanks Diablofans for that lovely addition)
Thank god. I hated those items. You see a gold drop, you're all excited... Oh it's ethereal... Great. You ID it, it's the item you need with super stats... Oh yeah, I forgot, it's ethereal.
Just make sure that you know that a laptop NEEDS to be changed every 2 years to be able to keep gaming current games at reasonable settings. I've been doing it for two laptops back to back now, and I've finally decided to ditch the mobility all together and just start building desktops from scratch again (after about 6 years). It'll save me a ton of money and it'll last a whole lot longer.
The only way you can get a laptop to stand the test of time (3-4 years TOPS) is getting a 17" 2000+ beast... Which will probably be equivalent to 1000$ desktop and won't even be THAT mobile. I'd say invest in a desktop if you plan on gaming... Just my 2cents. I'm moving on from laptops. They had a fair run, but I just don't wanna be blowing money for something that hasn't left my house in over 6 months. Kinda defeats the purpose of spending all that money.
I love the DH, so that'll be my main. I usually play melee classes, but I've really enjoyed my experience with the DH during beta. Monk is a close second, but not before I get my DH to inferno. Oh and they also look really badass!
Playing computer games isn't even that nerdy anymore.. but it IS a little nerdy-ER than playing console games, as that's gone super mainstream.
ha , it's the exact opposite where I live. computer games gone super mainstream and consoles still a little 'nerdy-er'.
That's good! I LOVE PC gaming a lot more than console gaming anyways, regardless of what people think! But common, you have to admit that knowing how to build a PC from the ground up requires a lot more nerdyness and tech-savvyness than pushing a big round button and picking up an Xbox controller
I am a nerd too, but there are varying levels of nerdness, and the people who generally show up to midnight releases are at least 2 factors of nerdiness above me.
So your a nerd but those who show up at midnight releases nerd harder than you huh? Sorry to break it to you but to non-nerds [and most nerds] the distinction is non-existent [save for a few 'extremes']
But out of curiosity, what are those 'factors'?
Collecting Legos in your 30s, being a NERF Gun enthusiast past the age of 10, being a Bronie... the list goes on. Playing computer games isn't even that nerdy anymore... but it IS a little nerdy-ER than playing console games, as that's gone super mainstream.
Ya, and during beta I really didn't like the feel of them. Nothing like the DH's ability to kill anything and roll away... And the dogs seemed a little underpowered (during beta, which probably means nothing.) I might roll one after I cap a DH and Monk.
