The gates of AQ will open only when you've submitted enough linen cloth and various varieties of fish and random materials.

I don't see D3 have ladders like D2 did in terms of ladder only items. I have a feeling it will be all geared toward epeen points in the form of special dyes..banners, character portraits, etc.

As far as everything being BoA, even if it wasn't trading would be garbage because there is no format in the game for it besides spamming in trade chat. You can't even made trading games like in D2. At this point its not even a big deal anymore. Someone elses gear DOES NOT and SHOULD NOT affect your game play experience.
but with ladders, other players gear WILL affect your play experience if you so choose to participate in the ladder because of the competitive aspect of it, which is why competition ruins the actual spirit of the diablo genre.
Again, if you're competing for dyes, portraits, achievements, whatever who cares. This game isn't an esport, there is no point in getting bent out of shape over someone spending 14 hours a day grinding to be number one versus someone who plays casually at 2-3 hours a day. If you let someone else dictate your enjoyment of a video game, you're doing it wrong.

This is the type of mentality that makes me laugh. People bitched about dailies in WoW for the same reason. its all voluntary people. What someone else has in the game doesn't affect you in the slightest bit, and they've pretty much cemented that with BoA , no AH, and practically no trading. I'll never understand how people can be so self centered around a video game, what someone else does, has, is, does NOT affect you, your game play, your experience and it certainly shouldn't impact the fun you have.

All I ask is that Rob Pardo's name never be on another Diablo product again. Ever.

I take it your one of those people that if you won the lottery, you'd end up bitching about the taxes you had to pay on it.

They've made huge strides in improving this game since its release and I applaud them for that, they realized they released a turd and then turned to the community for input and changes on how to fix it, and the for the most part have been very proactive at doing so. While it doesn't excuse the missteps they've made at least they admit when their wrong. I swear the community on the official forums is complete garbage, people cannot be pleased 100% of the time. I can't even go to the official bnet forums anymore because the bitching and moaning is so bad and half the time its over full retard mode type stuff.

I don't see how someone else's game experience ruins your own. This makes no sense to me and I honestly cannot fathom how someone else having more paragon levels or more characters or heck even them exploiting bosses for more drops affects you in any way. Yes it will affect the economy somewhat, and larger exploits such as the gold dupe did affect the entire economy, but as a whole this should not affect your individual experience what so ever (economy aside). I think people get too wrapped up in what other people have versus what they have. If you couldn't inspect people, you would be totally fine with your 890dps weapon letting you get thru mp4-5 versus someone with best in slot everything doing a higher MP. Out of sight..out of mind.

Back to the economy part of this post, the only thing I can see going up in price are gems as they haven't said anything about a new tier of gems, just a new type of gem. So as gear is replaced..gems are bought.

Really, you guys are debating whether or not a stone with demonic souls in it could survive a fall from the heavens ...with science? It's a video game, the crystal could sprout fucking wings and fly up tyreals ass if they wanted it to.

i guess im wrong for trying to make money just off my gaming. i guess im wrong for trying to blame my problem on everything when its really just myself, just to add schizo effective isnt just schizophrenia its schizophrenia/bi polar. i guess im wrong for even mentioning anything on my mind and "poisoning the community". but hey its all good at the end of the day i know who i can lean on and i know who i can go to when i have my problems and trust me its not this site or you guys. its my father ABBA.

Really? I'm sorry you have delusions of grandeur when it comes to playing Diablo 3 and this forum. This is a place to provide thoughtful discussions, debates, and theorycrafting for stuff about the game. This is NOT a group therapy session about problems you have with not being able to make money off the video game. You clearlyu have not being following the economy if you thought 25c per mil was the going rate, news flash it hasn't been since probably October.

This isn't somewhere you can 'lean on' because you're too inept to realize that its just a video game, it was never meant to provide you with supplemental income, this game is an outlet to have fun or blow off some free time and play. The moment you became too concerned about making money is the moment you should have stopped playing.

And yes you are 'poisoning' these forums.

Diablo 3 continues to be an enormous and huge success.....ummmmmm I wouldn't go that far.

It's only one of the fastest selling games, most pre-ordered games on Amazon, most first-day sales and as of today one of the best selling pc games ever. It's still played by over 1 million players every day.

I suppose I shouldn't gone that far, I should gone even further looking at sales numbers and such. Diablo 3 is probably one of the biggest successes in history of pc gaming. Thank you for correcting me :)

The game is horrible and unless you live in a cave and havent played anything else you would see this. Loot system is crap, crafting is crap, class balance is crap, there is absolutely NO end game. While we are tossing around faulty logic I guess cause more people live in China that makes it the best country to live in?

It's apparent you never played diablo 1 or diablo 2 or any of the previous iterations of this game. There has never been an 'end game' because one you kill diablo..the game is over. It's a hack and slash, you just do the same thing over and over again. What more of an end game would you want, what more of an end game could you expect?

If you're going to try to make an argument at least give it something to stand on. Don't just say its crap, explain why. As far as class balance goes, they never have attempted to create perfect class balance, and its honestly not THAT bad. (QQ WW Barbs!) I'll give you that 'crafting' is crap, but its gotten better, and yes it still has a lot of room for improvement. Itemization in this game could improve, but its really only a few minor tweaks to get it where it needs to be.
