And you´re just ignoring the mention of gems because...? And yes life steal require "a hit", but first of all it would be retarded to use the phrase "heal you on hit" if you´re refering to life steal when there´s also a LoH that works entirely different. And second of all: life steal, life on hit AND life after kill is mentioned when only life steal of those 3 actually is nerfed. So please, before you throw "reading comprehension problem" accusations around, read the text as a whole.
The reason WoW got nerfed was due to players NOT able to see new content or end game content.
In Diablo 3, you see all of that already in normal. There is no reason for them to nerf inferno because you've seen it all, now its there for a challenge.
Pausing works while solo
checkpoints and waypoints makes sure you can get back to your area where you left over pretty quick but if it's a waypoint into a dungeon it's pretty random where you spawn.
Seriously,
The UI isn't even fucking clunky. It's like two buttons. Left click an arrow, left click the ability and rune. It does everything else automatically.
I have NO idea how that's even remotely clunky. It takes literally 4 seconds to go through the pages, if that.
CLUNKY would be tossing every single ability on the same page in some goofy basic box.
Think about it.
There is nothing "clunky" about the Skill UI, and if people bitch about having to click their mouse, then you're playing the wrong fooking game
The skill tree consists of six pages to display about 20 skills. So yeah, I'd definitely say it's 'clunky', i.e. awkward to navigate back and forth, impractical in its design, and downright cumbersome to throw a quick build together.
How would it be clunky to have 20 skills together on one page, each arranged under its own tree. I gave my reasons earlier why I'd prefer it this way, from experience using the skill calculator. When I'm intent to get a build together, I already have a moderate idea in my head. It feels a bit awkward having to flip from page to page in an attempt to get the skills I want together. When they're all on the same page, I can quickly scan them over and easily identify which skills I'd like to use and which ones not to use.
While in game, standing in town, this would just make it a lot easier and less time consuming, especially when friends are waiting around to get back in the action.
lolz i had this same complaint until i used it in game, now its smooth.
The problem is you're looking at it like you just got bombed with all the skills from the start but when you play the game and unlock a few at a time per level it feels smooth just like it is now in beta. Then you just get to play with them or go back to original and you just remember that ability.
Heres an old quote from me if you don't believe it xD
Try path of exile to see how skills as an item feels.
Basically you start off with nothing with all classes and what drops is what you will be using basically until you can trade or buy one somehow. Fun? IDK... if you like complete randomness to your character.
But down the line, your inventory starts looking like this as you collect them...

Why? Because you can outlevel and power through everything in a breeze with broken gear?

Not everyone got to goto blizzcon and they gave feat of strength for going including portaits and decals. No one cared.
While in D3 you get a silly sigil and people are crying in outburst over it LOL.

You pretty much need to go into it with the very best gear you can get from hell lol.
