    ....also does blizz actually consider changing there hard worked out mechanics that are balanced for millions of people playing the game? it might be more beneficial for us to try and work within their choices rather than suggest new ones.

    If it turns out that a certain mechanic just fails on a whole (lets say the current elective mode usability...) then they might get the hint and rework it.

    Its impossible to have a complete balance, but if all were close to equal equipped and one had 450 more MF it would have cost him some DPS, why should the rest be punished for that? this system isn't perfect but its more fair in general.

    totally, i see it as people doing group runs because of mantras and heals and shields that benefit the entire party. DPS will be important but ultimately the winners will know how to survive. I think that its completely fair to have the find stats averaged, it pretty keen to find the optimal group situation though.

    They should think of another way to share it at least. For example you share/give 20% of your MF to others so you receive that same percentange.


    with this mechanic you could easily double, triple or quadruple your stats...

    3 players have really low find on purpose - one person stacks find stats and then they share like 30 - 40% with three people. this one person would essentially be a super farmer and could get gear for the whole group.

    i think the survivability argument is the most valid. DPS meters would be a neat feature but would direct people in that direction... don't forget "you will die" that is a branded marketing phrase.... they are playing to our death wish instinct. ALTHOUGH!!! I would be super excited to get an achieve that was something along the lines of "You broke the ceiling! - dps above 1000 / 10000 / 100000"

    I think its going to be really interesting to see how the beta resolves real reserve currencies with Beta Bucks. in some ways what they are doing is turning their Gold into a true global fiat currency... people might focus a lot on the rmah on release but it might be an interesting tactic to amass gold on launch and wait for the whole thing to stabilize.
