Guild Wars 2 will be releasing in about a month and a half. I am thinking of buying it, however, i dont want to waste 60 bucks if its gonna be a game i only play for like a month then stop (diablo 3 currently)
i havent been able to try out the beta. Has anyone been able to get into the beta weekends?
And yet it is freaking awesome so much better than HoN and LoL (/flameproof-coat on). The graphics, the hero quotes ("now that was a failboat!"... "son of a..!!!"), the functionality.
It should alleviate my PvP needs until the patch comes.
Anyone who's in the beta can buy an invite for 40 dollars from the in-game store.
is there a way to still opt into beta? or is the 40 bucks only way
I joined pretty decent groups and made it to Act 2 inferno quest 6.
however, i cannot get past inferno act 1 quest 3 by myself. i cant take on elites solo without dying and the repair costs are to great to keep trying and dying just to kill them.
so i cannot farm even act 1.
what am i doing wrong?

How do you post images of your screenshots? i took two screen shots i wanted to post here on the forums but both were over the 500kb limit. so i took them into paint and cut some out and edited just what i wanted to show and then it was even higher.
so how do i meet the file size requirement for the forums? not the greatest with stuff like that. thanks
I don't want to be a grumbletrousers, but I just don't see the point of "Inferno is kicking my ass" posts that don't mention the relevant stats (DPS/vit/armor/RA).
If you've jumped into Inferno with 10k DPS, 20k HP, 2k armor and <100 RA... you're going to have a bad time.

I got base dps around 16k and 34k with SS. Armor is around 2200. Res are around 200. HP is 14k.
I usually get 1-2 hit lol.
Maybe I just using wrong skills and need to improve my game.
As of right now, my DH isn't fairing to well in inferno and I'm not rich to buy on AH.
He really can't farm even act 1 and repair costs kill when i try.
So my question is, should i wait until 1.0.4 and see the classes changes or should i go ahead now and start a wizard.

I personally haven't had any beta so I'm still between ranger, Mesmer, elementlist, and necro

Still have 1.0.4 and PvP isn't until 1.1 and who knows if there are any between them
Also when is the end game content patch? Is that part of 1.1?
Something better come out fast, guild wars 2 is about a month away. I hope they get one of these patches out before then

Before I would see in the 10-20 thousand on and recently it has been in the 2000 range.
I like playing co-op.
