They should keep track of how many would have dropped from all the Champ and Rare packs you killed in Greater Rifts and let those drop from the RG.

posted a message on [Ideas] Patch 2.4 and 2.5 suggestions

Legendary gems should work like the cube. You would cube both effects of the gem.

That would mean sockets would no longer be required on jewelry, which would open up more possibilities for better rings and amulets.

Where is the pvp fix patch....

It will never come. Not sure why people are still holding out hope that it will.

i think it will be one passive at a time...or something...but really wgaf u can salvage a krider with any good weapon and easily push...i think ptr shud start tuesday...lets see what happens...hopefully sooner while they work out bugs before ptr launch

It's 3 passives at a time. One for each slot (wep, ring/ammy, armor). You can destroy as many items and store their passives in the cube but you can only have a total of 3 active at a time.

Also the powers are extracted at their max value. So if you find a Furnace with 40% damage and break it down, the power stored in the cube is 50%

Travis Day confirming both those points.

While nice, I kinda wish it didn't use the max value.

posted a message on Asian servs getting 10 stash tabs!

As I posted on the forums, I believe that other regions will get these types of changes soon enough. Once Blizzard starts seeing the cash roll in.

Imagine, based on the screenshots for the 2 chests and 10 tabs, they could in reality offer 7 chests for a total of 30 purchasable tabs.

If they charge $5 per tab, which is nothing, and a minimum of 100,000 people buy all 30 tabs, then that would pull in $15,000,000 for stash space alone. And those numbers are conservative.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having around 5-10 extra tabs just to store build specific gear that I may not be running. Though, buying character slots for different builds might be better since it takes no time to get a level 70 character.

posted a message on Is there a way to refund money on AH if you clicked wrong on buyout?
I doubt lag had anything to do with it. If you clicked the words "Bid" or "Buyout", which are clearly an inch or more apart, then clicking either button wouldn't be affected by lag.

That being said, it would be nice if they added a buyout confirmation dialog.

Sorry for your loss though. I only have 300k and couldn't imagine losing 7 million.

Was going to make a new topic but I could throw my idea in here.

Change the loot color of gems. Anything other than white. Blue might work if it isn't taken by another drop.

If they won't change the color, I would love to get the original gem drop sound back, at least. Hearing that TING! sound always got me excited. :)

It does say "Ting" when it drops. Not as in D2, but it's diffrent from other items.

While true, it's not as loud. In D2 you could hear it during combat very easily. Hell, equipping some wizard sources in D3 makes a better "ting" sound than the gem sound. :)

And while we're on drop sounds, I'd like it if they would change the blacksmith/jeweler page drops to have the sound that scrolls made in D2 when moving them around in inventory. Nostalgia FTW! lol

Consequences make for meaningful choices and motivation.

Be glad you don't drop all the gear you had equipped every time you die, get stuck back in town, and become forced to run back naked to retrieve your gear.

Or be forced to lose XP, which could drop you down a level. LOL Classic EQ FTW!

Games are so much easier nowadays.
