They are planning more sweepstakes? Damn, I thought the beta process was going to finish SoonTM.
i think it is, and right now they'Re doing so huge of a beta invite, i think it's to further stress-test their servers, kinda of like simulating a launch.

Difference between haters and being realistic. The absolute best i could see this going for if it was legit would be 80.
Definetly NOWHERE near 600+ USB

My lowest resist is 178, and my most "common" resist turns out to be 211.
...On the other hand, new website is broken, which is expected, here's a screenshot of both websites:
Normal Version: http://dl.dropbox.co...3728/OldEHP.jpg
Experimental version, stat input with all buffs on: http://dl.dropbox.co...3728/NewEHP.jpg
I wished it worked like the experimental version, i would get rid of one of my +60 all resist and suddenly gain 2.79 million EHP!
Edit: Just thought about it, you may want to add Enchantress' 15% Armor Buff.
Not sure if any other follower has a buff that affects EH...
I suggest you treat it as a class option, just add it for all classes. That is until you have a more refined system going on.

Workaround: Complete quests before having to go. Or dont complain because you'll be doing that stuff over and over again, so dont get frustated at doing it twice nice.

What the fuck are you saying? You are confusing yourself with the Monk's Boon of Protection rune.
Force Armor might be here to stay. Even if its not overpowered anymore, its not obsolete either. Force Armor basically DOUBLES your health pool because as long as something doesnt do 200% damage to you, it cannot one-shot you.

The thing that matters at the end is Effective Health. Someone with 50k health and a 150k effective health is squishier than a guy with 35k health and 250k effective health.
How to live through a 100k fire attack? Have more than 100k effective health.

"Among scientific researchers, empirical evidence (as distinct from empirical research) refers to objective evidence that appears the same regardless of the observer."
I leveled up in coop too, sometimes with different people since we were a group of 6 people. Whenever we had a specific person that was geared with more MF, it felt like i found more blues during those times.
I did not observe the same thing as you did.

If you say XP is not shared because someone has Monster KilL Grants Bonus Exp on his gear. Of course they dont.
Also XP from picking up books, XP from shoutouts (Killing Blows in a single hit, object destruction, kiling streaks...) arent shared either.
Also, in an entirely random game, you -cannot- say empirical evidence then say "me and my friend played together"

Demon Hunter is easy:
Add an option called Smokescreen
If (Smokescreen) then EHP = NaN, else = 1.
That was hard.
Alright but kidding aside, thanks for implementing the Archon
But i noticed something lately, i stopped ticking the Blur option because i saw it appears on the details screen as 20% Melee reduction. And since i have 23, i didnt know how the program would react to Blur + 3% and consider it additively or multiplicatively. So i just type 23 in melee reduction and leave Blur unchecked. I suspect some people are doing both since it seems like something that can easily be an oversight.
...And while reading this i was also going to write how i guess the same could be said of the armor but its easier to find out because you can turn off the buff and then input the stats. That's fine until i realized that this means Glass Cannon is probably taking its 10% off my resists and armor... which are the numbers in input in your program and your program then takes ANOTHER 10% because i ticked Glass Cannon...
Okay, this is basically a third train of thought i just had, while writing the same post. Dear god. Anyway, At the start of this post i said that i wonder why those are even options since you cant easily see the numbers "without", that's considering you already have those, but considering i asked to add Archon just to "see what it would do", then it would be stupid of me to ask to remove options in case you dont have them in your spec and want to see what it would do to your EHP. But one thing learned at least from this is that i hope Melee Only Reduction and Blur are added before they are calculated in your EHP since they are additive.

They do. Just dont use one of the following:
Asking for a blizzard employee to be fired.
Insulting them on their own forums.
Acting like you're entitled to everything.
Even outside of the forums, you can't go in a restaurant, storm the kitchen and start insulting the chef. Know what will happen?
The chef will DEFINITELY NOT be like "We're in a free speech country and the customer is right to insult me!"...
He'll be more like "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BUILDING. AND NEVER COME BACK"
Same. Exact. Thing.

This is Blizzard. When the hell have they been innovative? Hint: Never.
It goes all the way back to Warcraft 1...Its basically the same concepts as another game of that time (which the name evades me), they just polished all the mechanics and made ridiculous good gameplay through its simplicity (compared to competition during those times)
WoW? They took the same concepts as EverQuest and other MMOs of the time, and then they simplified it and made some really good gameplay designs with it. Vanilla WoW was casual compared to everything else out there. Crafting could never fail, Raids only required 40 people, instead of 80+, and so on... So i really dont know why people are saying the game is casual nowadays: It always has been.
The Starcraft franchise wouldve been in jeopardy if they changed it more than they did, because of all the eSports behind it. So they did the good choice.
Blizzard is great for one reason, they don't try to be revolutionary. They dont try to have That One Gimmick to make their game popular. They innovations are in the simplicity and their critical game designs to make good and addicting gameplay.
Edit: This is probably a guess, but i'd say that BW/Diablo2 suprised you back then because you were younger and because back in those days, we didnt have 7 billion reference points as far as genres go.

I much rather have "Dont stand in fire" boss encounters than the diablo 2 kind of "So, you stand there and hit the boss till it dies".

See what the exactly above guy was saying about people who dont know how computer or server works? You're one of them.
First, that's not raw money into their pockets.
Second, Tech support cant help with this, what they need is software and network engineers for that stuff, and those arent small jobs.
Third, it's pretty much a programming law that more people that touches the code do nothing but SLOW DOWN the process. Even if they were to hire lots of new engineers, they would need weeks to get familiar with how blizzard and their network codes works out and start being useful to the team. And then everything they do would be slowed down because coordinating between a huge team is alot harder than coordinating with a small team.

Seems like Rubies are the twink gems.
14-28 damage increase is beyond AMAZING when the weapon has 20-50 damage.
16-32 damage increase...Not so much when it has 500-1000
Also, on helms, 21%+ Increased XP per kill, also great for low levels.
Emeralds actually scale with your damage, and just scale even higher if you have any crit items.

Congrats! You just found out the key importance. People werent crazy into min/maxing "back in the days". People are now. It's gaming as a whole that evolved and people got smarter and realized how much better you can be at a game when you min/max.
So obviously, nowadays we see everything while trying to think about min/maxing. It changes ALOT of things.
