They are planning more sweepstakes? Damn, I thought the beta process was going to finish SoonTM.
i think it is, and right now they'Re doing so huge of a beta invite, i think it's to further stress-test their servers, kinda of like simulating a launch.

Diamond Skin (Crystal Shell)
Magic Weapon (Force)
Familiar (Spark)
Energy Armor (Prismatic)
LMB: Electrocute, Lightning Blast
RMB: Imp. Archon
Passives: Glass Cannon, Galv Ward, Blur (or Paralysis)
And get a nice amount of attack speed.
And yeah, you read that right, Prismatic instead of Force Armor. It may just be me, but i feel like i'm taking less damage...

So i was wondering if i should maybe look at the other gems? Do you guys thinks +60% Critical Hit Damage could turn out to be more damage than 16-32? Or that maybe 190 Life Per Hit would be more useful in the long run?

Wizard: Archon adds 40% Armor and Resistances, which stacks with Force armor. Could it be possible to add it to the equation? It may only be a 15 second effect on a 2 minute cooldown, so instead of trying to "even it out", it would be preferable to see my archon EHP, and if i uncheck it, see my EHP without.
Also, overall request, it may sound silly and adds another layer of numbers, but i would like to see my actual total damage reduction. as nice as it is to know i have 200k EHP, i also like to know stuff like "Im reducing all damage by 83%, awesome"

Also, you get more character slots for palying EU (or US if you're european) or Asian servers. Yes, those also count for the achievements afaik

Inferno may not be for everybody. You're part of that everybody it seems.

Who said that good legendaries went to the auction house and the guy that found it didnt keep it?

The thing is that he seems to look into making only extremely cheesy builds tha are basically "creative use of game mechanics". Then someone execute it to the point of showing its incredibly broken.
Seriously, being able to permafreeze every enemy ever, cant say that shit aint broken.

This build is even more overpowered than the FA one, because in this one, you didnt need vit and resists... enemies were frozen 100% of the time. That means 0 damage completly. At least FA had damage intake and lots of regen. This one just have lots of damage and NO damage intake at all.

Then again, maybe the nerf will come from Living Lightning as it's the biggest offender to that. Something like Living Lightning being unable to proc Critimal Mass more than once per cast.

The enemy hit for 80k.
You have 50% reduction from Armor/Resist.
That means you would take a 40k hit.
PreNerf, with 6k health:
35% of your life is 2100
40k is higher than 2100.
Force Armor absorbs 37.9k damage
You take 2100 damage, leaving you at 3900
PreNerf, with 20k health:
35% of your life is 7000
40k is higher than 7000.
Force armor absorbs 33k damage.
You take 7000 damge, leaving you at 13k
PostNerf, with 6k:
35% of your life is 2100
40k is higher than 2100.
Force Armor should absorb up to 37.6k, but that's higher than your life, so it absorbs 6k.
You take 2100+31600 damage, Dead.
Postnerf with 20k:
35% of your life is 7000
40k is higher than 7000.
Force armor should absorbs 33k damage, but that's higher than your life, so it absorbs 20k.
You take 7k+13k damge, leaving you dead, but 1k more health wouldve saved you.
Postnerf with 50k:
35% of your life is 17500
40k is higher than 17500.
Force armor should absorbs 22.5, and it does.
You take 17500 damage, leaving you at 32.5k
Short story, as shown by the 20k scenario, since a 40k hit is 200% of your health, you died. but with 21k of your health, it would be slightly under 200%, so you would live.

It doesnt. Because Venom Hydra isnt Cold Damage.
It's not All damage increased when Chilled/Frozen. Its COLD damage increased.

The "much easier time" was before today. Force Armor nerf puts Wizards at exactly the same spot as Barbarians, except they dont have a 30% passive damage reduction.

Nephalem Valor needs to be much lower. It wouldve been amazed to be able to gear up in NM for Hell if i had that buff.

Maybe lacking compared to THE EXPANSION. Remember D2 at launch. It only had 6 gems back then too.
And personally i wasnt a fan of runes. They didnt actually give alot of choices...
"But i could socket my gear to be indestructible."
If you ever wasted a Zod rune, whose rarity is of epic proportions, to make a specific piece of gear indestructible, i want to hit you. The only reason you wanted to use ANY high rune wasnt for their effects. You didnt care about their effects, you cared about the runewords they made.
The only runes ive ever seen socketed on their own are:
Ist runes - 25% Magic Find
Um runes in Helm or Shield - 20% All Resists.
The low runes are too useless to even be used. (+Light Radius and stuff)
The rest of the high runes were kept for rune words and never used on their own.
