Unlike vanilla Diablo where I read a ton of stuff, watched videos and participated in the beta, now Im trying to limit the amount of exposure I am getting for RoS. I want the game to feel new, and see stuff for the first time. With that being said, I also want to make sure I am preparing for the expansion with what I can at this point.
Gaining Paragon xp right now is high on the priority list, and from what I understand, a lot of gold isn't necessary. I have about 300 million gold and figure that will be good for quite a while. If I am wrong on those, please let me know. My question would be for crafting materials. I know there are new ones etc, but does that mean all of the existing ones are gone? Is there any point to gather Iridescent Tears? Essence? Tomes? Brimstomes? Demonic Essence?
Having not played in the beta at all, is it possible to start a brand new toon at Master level and be able to survive, or is Expert really where it should begin? I'm hoping to start fresh with a Crusader at launch and would love to be able to start at Master.
When I try to create an auction, I get an error code. I know the AH went offline yesterday, is it still down that I was unaware? Or am I the only one having this issue?
Am I just having a bad day, or has there been an increase in rubberbanding very recently? Unfortunately the first one killed my Paragon 31 barb, but I had 4 more in the same hour following that death in SC. I havent seen it this bad in a while.....
Which follower do you use? As much as I would like to get away from him, I find that I still rely upon the Templars healing/Health regen quite a bit. Im hoping to get some better gear in the future to may switch out to the enchantress.....or is the Templar the most widely used for Hardcore?

Hope this isn't a dumb question, but I have seen videos where there are timers on cooldowns for the abilities on the hotbar. I have searched in the options and cannot locate a way to do this. Could someone tell me how this is done?
Hey folks, quick question. I just pre-purchased ROS, and the last screen has a button to download the game so it says it will be ready to launch on game day. Yet when I click the button to download game, it brings me to a screen to download the original Diablo 3 client, or the ROS beta client. If I remember correctly prior to launch, we had to delete the beta client as it was not the correct one for the true game, so I dont exactly want to waste time downloading the ROS beta client, if its not the right thing to do. Does any of what I wrote make sense? heh Anyway, any direction you could provide would be great.

Are they worth it? For a ton of people, I'm sure 20 million gold is a drop in the bucket to make one of these. For me though, its a good chunk of change. I have never bought gems, nor bought gold with real money. I actually enjoy the small upgrades I get by working and finding gems. Even after MANY hours played, I still have yet to have found enough gems to make a Marquise, but I am getting close. But, with the expansion looming, and who knows how much gold is going to be needed for the new crafting etc, Im wondering if its even worth making these. Heck, the added DPS isn't that huge really, for 20 million gold that is. I am sitting around 200 million, so to pay out 10% for a single gem seems silly. What are your thoughts?
Ya I will say the weapon is where Im stuck. I just searched the AH, and the first weapon with 900+ DPS, life steal, socket and crit damage is 45,000,000. I currently only have 23,000,000.
Lol ya, I do have nice crafted shoulders that I didnt realize were not on before I posted the link. I use those shoulders when running MP 2 so I can pick up gold nice and easy.
Little help please! So, I recently switched from CM wiz to Archon due to boredom of smashing the same keys over and over. I love the play of an Archon, but Im having a tough time surviving past MP3. In reality, MP 2 is giving me a much better xp/ratio per run anyway, but I do miss seeing more Legendaries dropping from the higher MP's at times. So, in reality, what can I do to survive a little more? Reflect damage absolutely obliterates me, and elite packs arent exactly a pushover past MP3. My resists are 650-800, HP at 36k. I use a LS weap, and also LS from Magic weapon.
Or am I mistaken in thinking that Archons can tackle higher MP's? I know I still have some gear opportunities, but yikes! As fun as it is blasting through MP2 or 3 all the time, a little more realistic challenge would be good! =)
Is there any benefit to using the Cold Snap rune? With a CWM build, Frost Nova is able to be used about every 2 seconds anyway, so I guess Im not understanding if there is a use of lowering the cooldown to 9 seconds from 12 if during combat it regenerates so quickly.
