Ya, I dont like the social aspect oddly enough. I actually turn all of the chats off and just play alone. I like being able to do what I want, at whatever speed I want, and I don't get annoyed with other people screwing off.
Is it possible to get Set/Legendary items from white mobs anymore? The vast majority of the ones I have had drop, have come from things like floor panels, chests, boxes etc. Some have come from Yellow/Blue/Purple mobs, but Zero have come from regular mobs. Is this how it is intended?
For those who plan on going on to Act V with their existing toon, what quest are you going to be leaving your toon on prior to the launch? Will you kill Diablo and leave nothing left before Act V, or will you be leaving some Act IV to do and then move on? Would there be any reason to leave Diablo alive prior to moving on when RoS launches? Or do you think nothing will be missed by killing him now and launching straight into RoS when it goes live?
Is it me, or is the damage from wraiths exponentially higher than pretty much every other mob type? Thankfully they aren't found in many zones, but that beam that they shoot really kicks my butt and I'm not sure why when everything else is pretty tame.
Ok, Im glad you have pretty much countered what Badglad has said. I just wanted to verify that what I thought to be true, is true. It seems it doesnt matter where the toughness actually comes from, as long as you get a lot. I was in the same boat as to having around 400k toughness with high all resist, and decided to ditch a ton of all resist for more armor etc, and I was able to increase the Torment levels easily. Thanks for the help folks, but not so much the snarky response from Badglad =P
Depending on my mood, Im either running the campaign on T4, or just running CoTA on T5 with an average All Resist of about 550 and a toughness of 1,000,000. In my mind, the 550 all resist really isnt all that high which is why I asked the question.
I guess I'm still getting used to the whole new number system in regards to DPS, Toughness and Healing. My question is really about toughness. Before patch 2.0, getting resistances up was really the way to go in order to be able to progress into higher difficulties. While the resistance statistic is still there, we all know it is a component of toughness. Now my question is, does resistance actually matter? Or is Toughness really the only thing that matters for survivability? Meaning, I can get a high real high toughness without really having too much into All Resist. I almost feel strange when I find items that have 0 all resist (or any resist for that matter), but it increases my toughness. Is worrying about resistances kind of an old school thought at this point and doesnt really matter as long as toughness increases?
I mean I just don't see a point in it. I wish there was a way to write directly to them to ask the reasoning behind making EST wait... I understand the whole everyone should launch at the same time. Just 3 am seems a bit steep for some ( Tho I wouldn't be surprise if we had the same error code like last time)
They aren't "Making EST wait". It launches at midnight their time, which happens to be 3 am our time. They never said it would launch EST at midnight. As much as we would like the world to revolve around our own time zone, sadly, it does not.
The only launches that I remember that launched in Midnight per time zone, were Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. Every expansion after that they launched at midnight PST as well as the launch of Diablo 3. So, it will very likely be midnight PST.
People are always looking for loopholes in RNG. I honestly hope they remain super rare as I want to be able to continue upgrading for a long time to come.
