    Also, Siaynoq, when did you get 14k posts? o.o;

You are asking Siaynoq about 14k posts? What about your 6k+ count? :P

On topic: Perhaps not exactly a cheerful thought for some but... Isn't this rather a preview for when Diablo III gets released - heh - and we'll have a flood of newcomers then, anyway? If a person can't adapt with having the DF community becoming much larger (and less experienced accordingly), then... I don't know if anything could satisfy said person.

It kinda worries me that this place will become like mmo-champion. Granted, I haven't been posting much, nor have I been a member of the community for long (At least a regeistered member), so I guess some would question my right to raise this concern but...

The reason I'm worried is that mmo-champion is so full of, for the lack of a better term, mental midgets that I simply stopped reading those forums (back when I played WoW). I stopped because I was beginning to fear for my life, thinking that one day someone would drive me to facepalm so hard I would cave in my own skull. Whether it be spam, "stupid" topics or stupid/flame(bait)/trolling posts, is kinda the reason why we cant have nice things.

This is why I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively small community Diablofans had, where most posts and topics were actually worth reading. I will miss that, even if I am glad that Diablo3 is getting more and more attention.

Just two gold pieces from a rather new forum lurker

I dunno, I'm still pretty bummed out by the whole rune removal thing. Especially since it's fixed levels you get them.
I was enjoying the idea of farming/hunting down runes, and I feel it takes away from the game. The initial rune system they had might not have been the ideal one, but I'm sure Blizzard could come up with something else, instead removing runes and throwing it into the skill tree.

Somehow, Diablo3 seems less and less promising for every step towards release... BUT! One must always stay positive, I still think Blizzard will deliver a great game, and I will still play the hell out of Diablo3. Who knows, perhaps in an expansion we'll see something like it, when they have more time to work it out.

posted a message on Demon Hunter; Your opinions
The demon hunter looks amazing! Just has two small problems. Hand crossbow, and the other hand crossbow. I think I gave myself a minor concussion after facepalming when they released the demon hunter with the dual hand crossbows.

I'll just pretend they don't exist and play with a bow :P

Demon hunter is definitively what I'll play, because I simply adore raining down destruction from afar and just watch waves and waves of imps melt away like.... impcicles. On a hot day. In hell.

    Good times will be had.

Concept art is probably also some of the coolest I've seen from Blizzard thus far. <3 Blizzard!

Still waiting for Blizzard to reveal that the dual handcrossbow was just a terrible joke, and that they will be removed... One can only hope. Quite possibly the most retarded weapon I've seen in a Blizzard game. So... unfitting. The only place they belong is in a bad John Woo movie.

    +1 for bows

Thou shalt not critisize anything about diablo 3...isnt that 1 of the 10 commandments? otherwise thou shalt incur the wrath of the legions of blizzard fan bois that haunt these halls...you have been warned.

    /facepalm

If in a discussion you are with Blizzard you are a fanboy. If you are against Blizzard, you're a troll/hater/rager etc.

There's just no getting away from the stereotype bullshit people come up with to invalidate other peoples opinion.

"Lulz my opinion/point of view is the right one so he has to be a fanboy/troll in order to not see this"

Also, what did you expect from a Diablo fan forum? People who didn't like Blizzard/Diablo? You might be in the wrong corner of the internet.

I dont get it. Why play hardcore if not for the thrill of permanent death? Just in PvE? Where's the fun in that? Hardcore isn't hardcore without permanent death, even in PvP.

Not dying in PvE wasn't particularly difficult in D2, and I imagine it wont be in D3, so why even bother?

All subjective. Tbh you can get mad whenever you want. Just realize that you come over as an immature kid and/or retarded when you whinge and whine on forums, crying for "justice".
So riddle me this. Why is it taking longer than Skyrim (which is massive by comparison) to make D3?

Wish I could tell you, but I really cant, seeing as I'm not in beta, nor am I on the dev team of Diablo3 :)
I have faith in Blizzard, I'm sure they have their reasons.

As for Skyrim, perhaps they should learn a bit from Blizzard, considering the bugs in the game were as numerous as the possibilities... :P
Then there's the atmosphere. I really _REALLY_ hope D3 will have the same kind of atmosphere as D1. Tuning this is probably very hard (Yes, I'm quessing). Skyrim didn't really have an atmosphere to speak of to be honest. Hints of it here and there, depending on the mission, but overall I found it to be rather bland when it came to how areas and situations felt. I also think Skyrim cut some corners. One of which being voiced NPCs etc. Your average NPC has like one or two standard voices.
And before I get accused of hating on Skyrim or some such, I liked Skyrim.

Either way, I'm sure Bethesda has their way of doing things, and Blizzard has theirs. Respect it, it's not like you have some demand or right to Diablo 3. Patience is key :)

    EDIT: Also, mesmerizing gif x.X

Then again, generalizing is never good, I'm sure there are some of those who vent in forums are just having a bad day or something. To often things get broken down into black and white, in this example, kids and fanboys :P

This is about money, it's got nothing to do with making a good game.

I'm sure the RMAH is still meeting resistance in various countries.

There is just no hope for some people..
Indeed some people will just never learn.

But no, I strongly disagree with what you say Nastai. The only reason you feel this way is because they actually shared the whole development from the very beginning. This isn't much diffrent from how they make their other games. Those games have just not this much coverage on them.
So really it's more an issue of too much information. People can't understand that you wanna change something that is working, but sometimes that makes something truly great. Changing something 100% good, and making it 10% better. Iterational devolopment is just one of the best ways to get something really great out there.

I mainly agree. For the future, I hope Blizzard keeps us in the dark to be honest. That way, I don't have to read through pages upon pages with people voicing their opinion how Blizzard should do their job, or how they just wont stand for this and wont play the game etc. It gets old, really fast =(

So many impatient ones. At least the level of stupidity on this site is no where near the official forums/comments on the subject...

I like the changes. Makes it more diablo1/2esque, which is nice. Before I kinda felt they were distancing D3 a bit too much. Not that I have tried the cube and couldron and such, but I am the kind of masochist that enjoy having to chose which items to bring along in my inventory or go back to town every now and then (Read: often).

Can't wait! (But will have too T.T)
