posted a message on New banwave?

People is botting left and right, if there is a banwave, it might be to the two/three mayor botters, but I doubt very much that would be made extensive to the rest of the community. Blizzard has left the time pass a lot that it should have been needed, and now this is a MfD+Frailty kind of issue, everyone is botting, I can't just get into a public bounty and not have at least 2 or even 3 members in the party being bots.

What Blizzard is going to do? Ban the whole base of players? It's sick I know, but by now, I don't see Blizzard taking any dramatic actions, that could somehow damage the little player base that remains in D3, just in case sales of a future game could be damaged.

posted a message on New Diablo in 2019?

Well reality is that the patch has last a lot more than expected, but now is already winding down again. S12 is one month in, and chats and communities are dead city, with 20-25 mins trying to find/form a group to play. Even in my clan there is people that has already stopped playing as there is not much more to be done.

Bots everywhere also, it's an issue that as it has not being properly addressed, has killed the little life the S12 had. So for example in my case, i've moved to play other games: why?? Cause after a month of grinding and getting my monk/DH and Znec geared, it seems impossible to find groups to play, to push the LBs is useless if you are not botting 24x7, and the people it's already asking for 1.5K paragon at least to play in their 115-120s, otherwise you are not welcomed here.

There might be a D4 coming? Could be, but will someone or any of those nostalgic players, came back to it after D3? I doubt it very much. My two cents.

posted a message on When to augment gear?

I normally do 2 sets of augments, I do first 80-85 all around the gear, and then I do a final one to 100. I don't do augments higher than 100, I don't think it's worth it.

That way also, when you have all augmented gear to 85 or so, it's also easier to run high 95-100, to do this final augments.

Normally I try to get the 1st items with the necessary stats and ancient, to augment to 85, and then I focus on getting the best ancient item to that slot, for the 100 augments.

But I think there is not a perfect way of doing it, as it's RNG based somehow.

posted a message on Boters paradise D3

Guys, I think you are losing the big picture here. This issue should have been addressed by Blizzard 2 seasons ago, but now it’s a MFD+Frailty kind of issue, you saw it in the poll 30%, I’d say even 50-60% of people at one time has been using a bot, last season or this season. So according to your statement, solution is to ban all those to make it fair, which will basically wipe out half of the already slim player base.

And I said that your are losing the big picture, cause although I know you care for the game, the game it’s not yours, it’s Blizzard’s. Yes you know the game in and out, maybe even better than the developers, but they are the ones who decide, and although this is a game for us, for the lm is a product, which has to make money or keep customer base for next upgraded products.

Do you think a ban wave, to 50-60% of your customers would benefit you in any sense towards a possible Diablo 4 game??? No chance.

So yes this is completely unfair, and yes it is Blizzards mistake, and should have been addressed properly (like many other exploits issues and 3rd party, THUD, D3Helper, exploits in the game) but now it’s to late, and it could put in jeopardy possible sales moving forward, so I doubt very much they will do something drastic, they may ban (if they ban) 2-3 of the worst guys out there, but don’t think they will tackle this issue as appropriate, this late in the game life.

Remember also this is the last patch, so this means maintenance mode, so resources are somewhere else now.

posted a message on Message from European Clans (About Botting)

I get your point and I agree that something needed to be done. I talk in the past cause at the moment is out of control, it was last season and it wasn't addressed.

Guess what, I don't think anything will happen, and nothing will happen because right now, God and the Holy Mary are using bots, and if Blizzard would have to ban all people that use or used bots, then there would be no player base to compete. This is a problem Blizzard created for not addressing the issue at their right time, the reality is they don't care about the game anymore, just us the remaining player base are the ones who care, so nothing will be changed as you have to bear in mind, IT'S THEIR GAME, not ours.

I don't agree at all with the use of bots, just go play something else, if you going to be using your PC to grind for you, but at the moment it's an issue that can cause a wipe not only of the LBs (most probably) but of the whole player base, and that would be for Blizzard like shooting their own foot, ain't gonna happen.

posted a message on Plans for Season 12

Next S12 I'm going with Necro to start because of the Tragoul's set and then DH/Monk. DH for the MS for T13/Bounties and Monk to push solo (WOL) and support in 4 man meta. Lot of work for S12 for I'm hyped for the season to start!!!

so better to farm back most of the legendaries and get new ones......I think I'm waiting for S12, don't have the willingness to put hours again into farming items I'm going to be using for a couple of weeks.

posted a message on DH 2.6.1 Stone of Jordan benefit

I tried the built yesterday, not even with Caldesan's, not the right gear, and just with the buff on UE per point of discipline, it's just nuts. You clear screens in T13 as if it were T10 or less........amazing, but the game now it's a bit hilarious.....I don't mind farming at that high level, but there is no challenge at all really in putting up a build and getting to GR90-100 or even higher without pushing too much.

I will play this S12 for sure, but I'm moving to PoE guys.....no need to spend more time in D3, at least for me.

posted a message on Easiest solo GR100 in 2.6.1?

I'm still trying to make a decision and thinking about going for multiple characters next season.

Necro: great starting set, with Tragouls, you can start farming T13 day one

Barb: It's been ages since I played a barb, and basically because it was so underpowered compared to other builds. I'd like to play that HOTA build again!!!

Monk WOL: great for farming and clearing T13 content, and considering you can push as well with it, makes it even better to play monk. Besides still monk will be support in GR.

Thinking about DH for farming as well.....so many options.

    What you think guys??

posted a message on I don't get those item comparison calculations

It's the same when rolling +20% Elemental dmg, or more INT. Once you are into the 15K-16K range, the elemental will always be better than add more INT/STR/DEX to your character....you get DR.

posted a message on What's happening?

I believe much of what's going on it's the PTR. Most of my clan mates, for example, has stopped early this season, basically the idea is what's the point about pushing this season, as next season will be a lot better (if the buffs are kept in the final patch as they are). So next season we will see much higher rifts, loads of old builds coming back, so why bother to play same old D3, when we will have a revamped one within 1-2 months. I'm chilling out as well, just pushing solo, and trying to get to 100 GR....cleared yesterday 96 GR, so getting there :)

    posted a message on Skill

It means that during 15secs all your skills have their cooldown reduce for 10 secs......exactly what it says on the tin. :)

So a skill with a cooldown of 120 sec, will see it's cooldown reduce 10sec.....if you proc in-geom again, by killing an elite pack, another 10 secs and so on. For skills that have less than 10sec cooldown, for example moving/teleporting skills, it means that within 15 secs, as the cooldown is less than 10secs, those are active all the time.

For skills with 12secs for example, 10 sec cooldown reduction, 2 secs to wait, and cast the skill again.....10 secs reduction, 2 secs wait....etc.....I suppose you understand the process.

    Quote from lolo2s»

I would suggest to blizzard to temporary ban all TH users (maybe ~60% of the players base), remove their record(s) on the LB and next time they get caught >>> permanent ban.

TH is easy to detect, so it should not take time to flag everyone (if not already done).

Well not that I defend the THUD use, but if you ban them, then you definitely have to perma ban the botters right? And of course the exploiters (gem ups to 140-150 and so, right? So that leaves you with what 20% of legit players.....right? And at that point, do you think any company in the world would put any effort to support a 20% player base (unless it's an indie game company?).
As far as I would like to see a more fair playing field, unless I start seeing botters being perma banned consistently every single season, there is still a long way for THUD to be banned in any way. Just my IMO.

    Quote from DeeXIII»

I personally think instead of making people stronger they need to add in things from d2, that where IMHO awsome.

like rune words, those where sweet

Agreed, this is what I was hoping for. Actually, I recently moved to play some PoE, give it a chance. I've been playing Diablo since the days of Diablo was released, and I started to miss a lot the feeling of D2, I have been playing consistently D3 since Vanilla, and then drop it, I came back in S9 and I've been playing the last 3 seasons, and honestly something needs to be done, and it's not more power creep.
PoE has some good points and bad points as everything. While the combat system is not the easiest, I love the skills system, the passive tree and the loads and loads of viable builds and abilities you can have. Also the progression is a lot better than in D3, nothing is giving to you inmediately and you have a good feeling as in D2 when something drops. You have to consider the affixes and how that would affect your character etc. Yes D3 is prettier as a game, but PoE wins in all the aspects of the rest of an ARPG IMO, and that is why D3 is losing players by the day.
While I'd like to see D3 or even a D4, with a strong coming back, if Blizzard doesn't take proper actions, and it's not just increasing the numbers, there is not much more to say, PoE it is.

posted a message on Rebalancing in 2.6.1

I think this is just more power creep as there is no clear direction from the team about how to make the game better.

IMO, they are just reacting (late) to the release of the new patch for POE. They are seeing the numbers in steam grow by the day, and seeing how players that used to be in Diablo 3 (like me) every single day, are moving to POE to check what's the hype about. The Necro also may not have had the numbers they expected, something needs to be done to stop the bleeding, so they put out there a patch with huge numbers, doubling multiplicators everywhere for the sake of getting some people back and see if something has changed.

I think this is just showing a lack of resources/ideas and what to do with the game. When this goes out, if it goes out, the hype will last a week or two, but then everybody will see all the flaws again and will return back to normal life. It's being a long time since the game needed a new approach and this super buff is not going to help to change the perception many people have already about it.
